• Horizon Windows workspace client do not sync any changes

  I have for PC which is connected to a server of Horizon workspace. I did some restructuring in my folder of Horizon shared on my desktop PC and changes are synchronized to the server Horizon Workspace. When I connected my laptop to the network Horizon Workspace Windows client synchronize some changes, but not all, client reports "all files are up to date", but I can see the folder structure does not match between server Horizon Workspace and my Windows laptop.

  I've updated vWorkspace of 7.6 to 8.0.
  My clients have Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and I'm having problems with the keyboard. Sometimes when users log a virtual desktop computer, the keyboard stops working.

  I have read the document 'release notes' (http://documents.quest.com/DOC69662) there is a default ID 240350 = USB keyboard is automatically shared after start server USB daemon.

  I think it's related to my current problem, and it is a very important issue.

  Can I know when it is expected to have a solution to this problem?

  Hey Mau,

  This bug shows that the keyboard doesn't work locally rather than remotely.

  However, I've seen what you describe. I remember by clicking on the connection bar, a couple of times and then the keyboard made a leap in life.

  Can you try it and let me know if it works for you?

  If so, I'll look in my old notes to see if I fix it or just rebuilt the Linux machine.

  When installing VMware Horizon Client 3.5.2 on my 10 Windows PC, I got the error:

  After Googling for it, it seems to be a known issue since mid-September of this year, 2015.

  I also installed and run this client on another machine Windows 10 and it works ok.  I don't know why he would be dismissed on a box and not the other.

  You can go in rc (/etc/rc.d/* ou/etc/init.d) scripts and rename BB startup scripts to prevent them from running at startup.

  Or if you don't have a BB of all, remove these scripts and also remove the $BBHOME directory. For cleaning, you can remove the BB user too.

  I'm trying to reuse some old computers (about 50), I started working on an image of Ubuntu 12.04 to deploy these computers and it seems to work great with the exception of the 1 question.  When you disconnect / logout / stop the session, you are returned to the screen where you choose your desktop session (without log in again).  Since I'm forcing the customer to see full screen as specifying the Office to connect to etc, we would like the client view logoff or restart.  Is this possible?

  Note that this post is in the forum of the workstation. They ship a different version of tools, it is common for the merger to be a little more recent than the workstation or vice versa. You have no need open VM Tools or these instructions for Ubuntu 8.10 with Fusion 2.

  It seems you have servers that do not communicate properly with each other. If so, they could both try to manage the virtual machine. Make sure that this server is being uninstalled and removed completely from the environment (see the vdmadmin command line tool to clean a stale server entry), or upload and check the ldap replication works correctly between all servers.
