  As mittim12 says that you can simply add a license to the broker. I think that the best way to separate the other Prime Minister/Enterprise using another instance of Server Standard view.

  Hello, we have a new environment of horizon view during the installation of hardware new and ready to go

  at the moment we saw 5.1 in production. 5.1 environment is configured with dedicated workstations + user data disks. the windows profile is redirected to the user data disk. We also have records of the location of desktop and my documents redirection to a cifs share.

  We must abandon our users to the new environment with minimum disruption of our EBU end (IE not re - create profiles). We also want to integrate the management of persona in the new environment of horizon view.

  no indication on how to better accomplish the migration would be greatly appreciated.

  With regard to the use of Windows and persona profiles that should be pretty simple migration.  I had a similar situation, and the first thing I would do is to configure persona in your GPOS.  You can use the existing path or create a new path in there is an option for "Override Active Directory chemin_profil_utilisateur if it is set."   Alternatively, you can make the folder redirection with persona at the same location. Again, I would set up your GPOS with the same settings you use for roaming profiles and folder redirection, then remove the old GPO and implement the new persona profiles.  I've lived without interruption of service, but you may need to do a global gpupdate/force on the clients.

• Update of Standard vCOPS to business

  I have improved my license of Standard vCOPS to vCOPS for the view.  I did change the license and install the view on a Win 2008 R2 server adapter.  Everything seems to work fine, however, when I go to the environment > Configuration > adapter Instances...  I see the version Standard adapters.  Should I see here the version Enterprise adapters?  I need to reinstall or upgrade vCOPS the VAPP downloadable Standard version to the downloadable view VAPP vCOPS?

  Thanks - so I can confirm that everything is OK, it's just a description, which is static strings (does not change regardless of the license).

  You can refresh the view and then refresh the folder in the admin, but if you upgrade one day or regenerate views then you probabely will seek for this missing element.
  Another way to get the same result is to create a function that will return the gl_date to the AP, and then save it in the EUL
  and create an element calculated in the folder using this feature.

However, the default seems to be set on the view "Small icons" Is it possible to set up to explore my specifications? I want ALWAYS to produce the detailed view and display only the details that I selected and sorted by my own predefined criteria.

  Is this possible? I tried repeatedly to define this, but whenever I start exploring through a download process (for example, put a file on the web or by searching a file in Word, Excel etc.) I am presented with what seems to be an arbitrary point of view in Explorer which I don't want.

  Here's how to change the default template for a folder: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/70819-windows-explorer-folder-view-settings.html.  Default behavior is to select the model based on the first type of file placed in the folder (you must choose something).  Vista sets the folder type template according to what are the types of files in the window and the settings display window Explorer. This will show you how reset the display settings of Windows Explorer folder (which is what I think you want), disable Automatic folder Type discoveryand increase the view of the folder cache to have Vista don't forget not the display, model of file type settings, the size or the position of a window for when it was still closed to the location of specific path.

  It does not work with the Sub record under, Open with, open in a new tab (Internet Explorer), etc... dialog windows of type through the good File menu bar item. These don't seem to be able to have their size or their position to recall. For the latter, you can use the free program http://autosizer.en.softonic.com/ to resize them.

  Here is another article on how to modify the columns in Windows Explorer and sort in Vista: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/108665-column-customize.html.  This will show you how Add, Remove, move, change the widthand change the sort order of the columns in Windows Explorer in the way that you want.

  We noticed a problem in the last week or so when clients attempt to download the client to view the launch of our view connection server page.

  Who then is forwarded when it lands on the vmware site at

  Unfortunately it is no longer available then you get pushed back to the root of the VMware download page.

  After doing a little digging, I discovered that the link to the download of the client page is now

  So, it seems that VMware withdrew the designation of the download page view.

  No doubt other people have this problem too?

  Now, I know that I can change the link on the launch of the connect to Server page, but I'd rather have this fixed on the side of VMware so that I don't have to worry about updating the link when VMware change their website.

• Horizon view license constraints

  I was invited to ask a question about the limitations of the license mode by our office team and what they are allowed to run. Currently we have the following licenses:

  vCenter Server	vCenter Server Standard 6 for Horizon
  See connection to the server	Horizon 6 Standard view
  ESXi hosts	vSphere 6 for desktop PC

  They run an environment seen horizon with desktops VDI running Windows 7 on a cluster of blades ESXi.

  They would like to add a new cluster ESXi on which run Windows 7 virtual machines that are not part of the view of the Horizon / VDI, under the same instance of vCenter. These virtual machines is designed to test applications package for SCCM.

  My understanding is that this is not allowed and they would need an instance separate vCenter to manage this cluster of ESXi and VMs. We have spare parts, Enterprise Plus licenses that could be classified in the new cluster ESXi, but I suspect that he could still not run the instance of vCenter "vCenter Server 6 Standard for Horizon".

  Can someone clarify the on the issue? I was unable to find the official wording of VMware on what is / is not allowed.
