  I have about 80 Windows 7 computers in our County to various fire companies.  Each fire station has Comcast internet, and there is no possibility of admin/VPN Central.  Users have standard privileges of Win 7.  Products Adobe are updated automatically, but when they say to install the update fails because they have administrator privileges.  Anyway is to get auto-update to work for standard users?  I don't mind label a process runs as an administrator, I just need to know what needs the appropriate permissions to make this work.

  CD player will be able to update the standard users without asking to provide administrator privileges. While I understand that it is important for you, please make sure that this feature of CD player to satisfy your business needs before moving all users to the CD player.

  I suggest that you install CD on one or two machines, confirm that it works for your users, wait the first CD Player update is released and confirm that this automatic update also works very well.

• Business case for the purchase of Standard vCOPs?

  I'm therefore looking for version comparison matrix. Standard offer a handful of features that doesn't Foundation. We were quoted $20K for a standard within our company license. Someone at - it have a bit more in info function of depth that would help make a case for spending this turn (we use Foundation 5.71 now) of the Foundation?

  Standard has the following advantages over the Foundation:

  1 capacity planning, forecasting, reporting and what-ifs.

  2 dynamic thresholds

  3. political configuration to manage settings of resources (thresholds of alert/badge, display settings, etc.)

  The capacity planning is in large part where you will be able to justify the $ to senior management. This is where analyze you your use, plan for capacity and increase operational efficiency, current and future. If you have this tool, planning takes as long it takes to run a report or show a view. Without this tool, you'd be in Excel for hours and still not get #s as precise planning.

  Windows Media Player 12 is integrated in Windows 7 and is not available for download.

  You would usually experience problems with streaming Internet videos if Windows Media Player is configured to use "UDP". You can try the following steps and check the status of the issue.

  (a) open Windows Media Player 11 and right click on the toolbar at the top of the window.

  (b), select 'Tools' and 'Options '.

  (c) click on the 'Network' tab, clear the check box next to "RTSP/UDP. Ensure that there is a check mark next to "RTSP/TCP" and "HTTP" and click "OK".

  This should allow Windows Media Player 11 to stream video.

How can I update to 8.1, and then upgrade to the latest version of Acrobat 8 Standard? I found various updates, but they all require that 8.1.1 be installed first.  It's driving me crazy!

• ESR 31 to 38 ESR FX Fx update reach the functioning of business Web applications?

  We're set ESR Firefox as default browser in our society. Before we have tested and updated our desktop tools to make sure they work and is displayed correctly with FX. We tested with FX ESR 31.3.

  After the recent release, we now hesitate what version of the browser to deploy: old ESR31 or go directly to the new ESR38.

  Question: what is the risk involved? can we assume that all the apps that worked with the previous version of ESR even would work with the new? Or should we rather re - test applications before you go for the new version and install the ESR31 (which will be soon not supported).

  Please, do not assume! Since you probably have enough challenges, I recommend IS 31.7.0esr, which is the output may. I think there will be an update more in a few weeks, from 31.7.0esr to 31.8.0esr (based on the chart of the roadmap in https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/organ.../faq/). If you have several weeks to prepare thoroughly for ESR 38.

  Here's the reasoning:

  I have a client with about 8 users and so far I have had problems with 2 workstations. They require an update to Acrobat XI and an error message that the installer has sufficient permissions to modify some files in the installation directory. I read the provided article, deleted the software, deleted all files associated with and registry entries, reassigned permissions for root folders and reinstalled. Even reinstalling Acrobat we run into the same error, however a new attempt on each file allows the installation finish. I have check the updates and always find updates and meet exactly the same set of errors during the installation. I am at this stage of ideas and need help please.

  I have passed in review the community and other bodies, but have not found the answer.

  An existing Horizon view Standard can be upgraded to Enterprise or somehow install/reinstall should it occur (i.e. What is as simple as the replacement of the license)?

  Re-Setup is NOT necessary.

  Enter a key of the company in a connection to the server that previously held the license for the standard will unlock the features of Enterprise Edition.  From a perspective of the connection to the server, you'll simply be unlocking the functionality of the Remote Application, like most other Enterprise edition features are outside the connection to the server, many of which have their own file/license key need.

  No addition of a second vCenter does not replace the first. Not sure why it happened with mine. the second time, it worked fine. So I think I did something wrong.

  In our process, I have 2 external variables, such as agency_nm and narId, both are string with size 30 data type. variable agency_nm with label name 'Agency' and that is fine, but the other variable narId is the name of the label as "narId".
  
  How the label is changed to 'Nar Id' rather than 'narId '.
  
  Do we need to update in the fpr using studio or this can be done by the administrator workspace / process manager.
  I don't have such an option in the workspace administrator / administrator process.

  In the administrator of the Web console or process you can do.
  Go to the Variables, select the one you want and you have an option called internationalization where you can set labels.

  As long as you run on a certified operating system, it should be no problem.

  Nothing is mentioned in the documents of the DMZ on versions of OS/application of database (as long as it is certified). However, you can connect an SR and confirm with Oracle support.

• Update for VISTA Business automatically leads to not being able to open the attachment in Windows Mail

  After an automatic update from Microsoft for VISTA Business on July 16, I now can't open attachments in the reading of e-mail messages in Windows Mail.  An error message indicates that the file is not found.  I have now to save all attachments and open my files before I read attachments.  It's very frustrating.  I had a similar experience, only a couple of weeks where a parameter is passed by an automatic update to VISTA leading to read all the emails being hidden from view.  I had never seen that before and it cost me £40 to get DELL Technical Support to sort for me.  Microsoft should not do this kind of thing are they?  Should I just revert to the original system (I have to pay DELL to do it for me) and just not allow Microsoft Update VISTA more.  I have my own business, no IT support and I want to just use my easy notebook for standard applications.  Nothing complicated.  I can't afford to waste time and money sorting on my laptop when I should run my own business in very difficult times.  Thanks to anyone who can advise me.

  I understand exactly what you're saying.

  Try this with updates to uninstall the problem and change the eo settings you decide what it is installed:

  Click Start > right click on computer > properties > Windows updates down the lower left corner > updates installed in the lower left corner in the next window

  > then click the one that you don't want > uninstall will appear at the top > uninstall it.

  In addition, on the page where you clicked "Installed updates", click on change settings at the top left corner it
