  As a side note, the design of this box is poor. I can't find some way to dust effectively the heatsink without removing it from the central unit. Supply openings do not match, so you cannot blow a good flow of air through the box.

  Looks like you were the LED Flash option for enabled alerts until you updated, but it doesn't seem to work now. I would check that it is always enabled everything first:

  Turn on the Flash LED for alerts. Go to settings > general > accessibility > Flash LED for alerts.
