Horizontal lines in reading video & rendering

Hello guys!

Just make the transition from pre to PrPre and I'm having a little problem with "fine" horizontal lines turn large and bulky with the movement of the object captured (example: Player football running or when I move the camera will grow the lines.) Photo at the bottom of the section)

Now, I think it's the codecs that I use because I run several programs for editing... Pre, PrPre, Magix Movie Edit Pro 14 & 16, After Effects, and I was told due to many players, I don't have this could be the cause of the problem. I have Divx, Windows Media Player, VLC, FLV, WMC, Real Player. It was also suggested because I SUPER video converter as well as the Microsoft Expressions.

I am currently using K-lite full... and magix required me to download an AC3 codect that's already in the K-lite, but I "wiped" the AC3 and this problem persists...

Your video is interlaced, and you have exported to an interlaced format. For the visualization of the computer or upload to a web service like YouTube video, you want to deinterlace your film; at HEART, this is done automatically when you export with the order of Progressive value fields (none).

And get rid of K-Lite. Quickly.

    Professional Hello again fine,

    I use 6 first on a Windows 7 computer.

I always get horizontal lines in my video during export to AVI 720 x 480, even with "Deinterlace" lit.

I had a doubt on another thread and said robodog2 that it is interlaced with the lines of the file are not displayed when you use a selection of progressive export file...

    http://forums.Adobe.com/thread/852077

So I found the box "Deinterlace" via "chronology of export > movie > settings > special treatment > Modify > deinterlace ', but if I have this box checked, I still have horizontal lines.

Here are the screenshots of the same base video before importing them in at first for an effect reverse, and after I saved the resulting file 720 x 480 AVI... the final file appears with the same horizontal lines if yes or no deinterlacing is checked.

Lines are more visible when viewing the video in Windows Media Player they appear in these screenshots below... the lines have in fact characteristics of edge in the public eye.  The lines look like an old used TV sometimes when the antenna was not getting good reception.  Also, I am saving successfully the "chronology of export > movie" path with different codecs (this is no longer a file generated from the preview, I was talking about in the previous thread on this)... so I'm sure all the parameters with this version and I get this result with three different codecs, with and without the "Deinterlace" checked... I had the same experience over and over yesterday evening while he was also working with another file.

No one knows what is the cause?... Please see the pictures below

    Hi David,

Yes, I finally solve this problem, based on a chance observation on another forum.  On another forum a guy once mentioned the setting ' NONE FRAME ' in the 'Record Options' in the dialog "Export movie" when I export my movie to an AVI file, as seen in my screen shot below.  Otherwise, I think that setting was failing to "FIRST FRAME ABOVE".

For the most part, I was getting these terrible horizontal lines when I exported the graphic effects that I created with imported Photoshop layers in my film projects... in these kinds of exports that horizontal lines were much worse and more obvious that if I was just export a project with the actual video that I had imported in my project.

But still, even with the imported video, as examples of images that I posted on this thread, even in this case I saw the horizontal lines.

So one guy on another forum said something about "ANY FRAME" setting in my export dialog box.  It relates to something else about deinterlacing it is better for this problem as the "FIRST FRAME SUPERIOR" or "FIRST FRAME BELOW" settings.

As can be seen in my screenshot below, which is the setting I talk, but I was using the old 6 first of 1999all about, and options in the new versions of first export dialog are different.  The guy on the other forum that mentions that setting, that eventually solved my problem, said that the adjustment did not differ in a newer version of first he used, but I found this setting in my dialog "Export movie" , and that solved the problem.

It was so simple and I went by so many things to try to solve it, including my files running through other apps to try to pre empt the problem and none of it worked... He just turns out to be THAT simple adjustment "ANY FIELD" and that solved the whole problem.

First 6 and some newer versions of first, seem to have other problems, such as the creation of an oblong shape, rotation image from a round graph-shaped eggs after importation and applying an effect of rotation, but otherwise, once I realized that the solution of horizontal lines, I did pretty well understand many things in this former first and I got pretty good results.

    Viel Glück!

  • Problem Super complicated with rendering (horizontal lines occur in my final output)

So my problem is sort of double.

    1. I create some graphics kinetic typography in AE CS6 for a customer, and when I go the Compositions of the hand, my output file is stretched.  I can't understand why this is happening.  The parameters of my computer are 1920 x 1080 D1/DV NTSC widescreen (1.21), 29.97 Drop Frame (although I changed these settings to try to solve this problem and, "no dice").  Don't forget that I have other comps in main compositions which have completely different parameters.  Some of them are calibrated at 4000 x 4000.

I rendered out as a QuickTime codec 'Animation' 1920 x 1080 (although I changed these settings several times also in an attempt to solve the problem and still "no dice") the output video is always extended.  When I format the output for H.264, I get a caveat which reads the incompatibility of settings.

I found a solution, however.  I drag the media encoder and output format as QuickTime ProRes 422 (or that, is not serious, still get the same problem), deinterlaced, 1920, 29.97, field order: first superior, appearance D1/DV NTSC widescreen 16:9 (2.2121).  Stretching issue fixes, but now I have these horizontal line that occur during the time when there is movement.  I have set all the parameters I mentioned several times and I can't understand why he did this.

Can anyone help with this problem.

Notice that your comp says always personalized. This means that you have changed something. You should always use the presets.

The size of the image does not change because EI is pixel based. In the Composition Panel, if you enable view correcting the format of pixels so you would see the form of the change of model window. For example, when you view a DV (standard non square pixels) in perfect circles of Viewer Comp are oval until you put on pixel aspect ration correction in the Viewer. The number of pixels remains the same. Non square pixels were designed as a way to get digital data on digital broadcasting at a rate reduced data so that digital television would work. For example, a standard TV has a 4:3 and 486 scan image report lines. with the information of the visible image. The standard DV is 720 X 480 pixels. They cut the first 2 and down 4 scan lines because they were in the region of overscan and not visible to most of the viewers for broadcasters filled with missing persons aligns black because it is easy to compress, and then they did the format of the pixels, which is the conversion of a digital bit of information in time for an analogue electron beam moving on the screen at a fixed rate would put 720 of them on a line scan keep the image distorted and circles still circles. Make sense? At the time, it's all digital cameras faster and digital video might work. Now he's okay and nothing is broadcast in the United States in non square pixels. Only still DVD rely on pixels not square to the video of the reading. Same reason is as much information as you could successfully and reliably remove a DVD at the same time the standard was written.

There is absolutely no reason to never work except non square pixels so absolutely, you know exactly what you do and why you do it. AE and all other NLE will automatically adjust images of non square pixels fit in a project of pixels square without distortion.

Probably more than you wanted to know, but now you do. The reason for which only conceivable that someone would never made it or implement a master comp with non square pixels would be they should send the rendering in a digital format that accepts only non square pixels. IOW, if you have an old camera DV DV cassette and a way to digitize that digitally (which has not been manufactured for about 8 or 10 years) and you absolutely have to create a digital format DV master so that you can transfer this basic to the DV tape form digitally (no record) so that you have a digital copy of the video recorded on a format that only people with antiquated equipment can read using only that material so that you do not want to use the DV project (any format of X 720 in the menu drop down) from the beginning in Finnish. In my humble OPINION, all of these formats should be average at the bottom of the list so that a note should be that it is not deprecated square formats to use with caution.

  • Horizontal lines in any type of video file exported into Elements 9

I spent 4 to 9 items items for my video production, and I have not been able to get rid of the horizontal lines in ANY type of file or with any setting.  I tried everything I read so far on these forums.

Many comments say that export to WMV is the problem, but I export hundreds of videos to WMV with 4 items on my computer XP 32-bit.

That or XP 32 bit on my new super powerful computer to Windows 7 64 - bit, Elements 9 makes lines with movement. The screenshot shows a typical example.  Butterflies as lines of flight and the edge of a tree, as I panned, possesses a shading along he made many lines.horizontal lines_smaller pix.png

I was never really happy with first elements WMVs. I usually have a Premiere Elements, DV - AVI output and then use Windows MovieMaker to create a really nice WMV.

    But here are some options:

When you go to computer/share/WMV, try clicking on the Advanced button and,.

In the advanced settings, go to the video tab, and then assign the Codec Windows Media Player 9 Advanced Profile. (You will be prompted to save a new preset when you click OK - so you can reuse it any time that). See if that makes a difference.

If not, there other things you can do for the DeInterlace your video on your timeline - but you shouldn't need to do this.

Or you can use my method. Windows MovieMaker is much cleaner WMVs!

  • HP probook 450 G2: flickering horizontal lines on the screen while watching the video after water damage

    Hello

My father accidentally threw a glass of cola on my computer, on my keyboard. I was able to turn my laptop upside down very quickly and went out of the battery. I then let dry for 24 hours. At first glance the damage seemed limited to my keyboard that I already replaced. Everything else seems to work very well (sound, touchpad, usb ports, hdmi, dvd drive port) until I watched a video. Flickering horizontal lines appeared in the background, which are only slightly visible. Lines do not appear when I'm surfing the internet, playing games, or when I do no matter what other casual stuff. I also don't see any flickering lines when I connect to my laptop to an external display.

Does anyone have an idea on what the problem might be and what parts can I replace to fix this?

The unit to boot BIOS and check if you get all the lines. If you don't get all the lines in the BIOS screen,

then update the BIOS and chipset. But if the problem persists then you must send it to the service.

  • Text 3D CC + postcard problem! horizontal line after rendering!

    Hello.

I tried to do a text in 3D, using a 3D text with a postcard background layer. I merge the two layers and it will then restore. But during the rendering process, I get a horizontal line of light and shadow in the center of the layer of finish.

    like this http://oi61.tinypic.com/5wl35x.jpg

A friend send a PS file and told me to check it out. I played a little with it and I found that when I use his layer of the postcard (so that in the file it send me) and it has merged with a 3-d object, it turns out that the fine. Without the line. But as soon as I do my own postcard layer and use that one, I've got the bug again.

The line is always in the Center and the horizontal, no matter where my 3D object.

I checked on the settings basic 3D of the layer of the postcard, compared him to mine and could not find any differences. My PC is new and very powerful, he can also be my GPU, since it turns out fine when I use its postcard layer.

I also tried to reset the settings by deleting this file in the appdata folder, but it does not solve my problem.

Please someone help me! I bought a PC just to learn the 3D work and it's very frustrating and discouraging to be stuck at the beginning like this.

    Hi Alex,

I noticed the difference in the lighting too, while playing around the scene. I need to talk with the developers to see what is happening because the directionality you point out (bright on top, darker on bottom) is meaningless to me, given the IBL all-white. I think there may be a bug in the rendering (even without the line), which has been fixed in the version of 2014 (15.2.2).

I see that you have the version 14.2, so you should get at least the 14.2.1 updated because it has fixed major bugs in this document, including the 3D layers Merger Treaty.

    Kind regards

    Steve

  • Horizontal lines after rendering?

I have a video that is very "fast" or theres a lot of movement in it.

After I have make, it becomes very 'line is' whenever there is a rapid movement. Basically, I see horizontal lines of the pullout.

The source footage is not like that.

Is there a special method or the codec I can use to avoid this problem?

Sounds like the video is interlaced. Your computer is progressive and interlaced cameras some shoots. Older TV is interlaced, and some of the most recent one is both. If the end result is for the computer only you'll want to deinterlace the video. If it's for TV only you can probably leave him alone and it should play fine when playing on a TV.

I think for deinterlacing you have to change it when you export to "Progressive Scan". However, you can also deinterlace the clips in your project before exporting. I called technical support Adobe on this same thing several years and they suggest I do both, deinterlace the clips in the project when you export it.

You may have seen 1080i and 720 p, etc. the P is a progressive scan and the I for interlaced. I think the reason why interwoven was because it's less bandwidth to send half of the image at once (all other lines) than the whole image. Thus, a need for dissemination to use interlaced. But, everything I guess that moves to progressive scan. However, I imagine that the intertwining of will always be supported because many things is intertwined.

Just play with a small clip by exporting it just as it is and make a DVD of it, play it and see what it looks like on your DVD player. My DVD drive has done a top for progressive scan button. You may need to change a setting on your TV or it, or she can just play so what. Then, if you are not satisfied with the result, try to simply define the export to progressive scan option.

I have installed on this computer first otherwise I would look to see how to deinterlace the clips for you, but it's something as simple as right-clicking the clips on the timeline, or something. I can watch it later and get back to you.

    Hope that helps!

  • Horizontal lines in the saved preview AVI file

    Hi all

On another thread, I was wondering why I was getting an error message when you try to export and save a movie, but now I was able to get a temp AVI file after hitting enter and save a file preview, but this AVI file preview, which is normally the same quality of the full saved file I think, has horizontal lines in it that are very obvious compared to the original file... below are the screenshots yet sample to compare...

    File Clean original AVI 720 x 480 30 fps

    720x480avi_CLEAN.jpg

Display of the lines in this file first 720 x 480 30 fps AVI preview

    PremiereEXPORTED720x480avi_horizontalLINES.jpg

I have a file imported into the script and she will play opposite via setting the speed being set to-100 and it reads in the preview window properly, in reverse, when I click on the play button.

But when I do a "file > export timeline > film ' command I get an error message saying ' year error occurred while doing this film.» Error writing files (disk full)? " ... but my hard drive is nearly full, with more than 30 concerts left open on it... and my gadget to use RAM shows that more than half of my RAM capacity is not used.

But I got a temp Preview file generated after knocking entered to play the preview after I was not able to save and that ' s how I got this file... and I think that the temporary files are normally just as strong as the final saved files because they take so much time to generate during the preview by pressing on enter as they do when you export and save.

In addition, this process saved an AVI file of 8.5 gigabytes of file 1.5 MB AVI using the codec in CamStudio.

Another test using the MSU lossless codec produces a 3.5 GB AVI file which seemed better, but wouldn't you just play faster than about one frame per second after an hour and a half to save time.

Someone at - it solutions?... I see also that the new record of first shows a large screen size, but it was recorded at the same size of 720 x 480, as the original was.

    Thank you

    NuMetro

The hard drive uses a swap file, and the program creates files (such as the rendered file you use now instead of an export file) and in general, if you get the message that the disk is full, chances are that your disk becomes too full for the program continues.  You must check your hard drive with care and make sure you have enough space to work without this message.  There are discussions here on how to configure your hardware to the good editing (forum hardware).

The horizontal lines you see are "interlaced" lines... rather than being a "progressive"... file You can use mediainfo or gspot to see what your assets are exactly and then implement the project should match the one... and then export to match THAT... and you should be OK (once solve you the problem of hard disk)

  • Horizontal lines and more

I have a Mac OS X 10.7.5 who suddenly developed a problem with horizontal lines covering the screen and a strong vertical line on the right side (see pix). Sound will always continue if a video is playing, mouse and Tracker will answer but not affect anything (not open, close or move anything). The only thing that solves the problem is to power down. When I turn on the rear, there is a party in question. This has, however, happened twice in the last week... a little concerning that I use my computer in my lectures. I looked at different positions, but none seem to match up with this type of horizontal issue. All the ideas that do not involve me go to the Apple Store? (pathetic bank account)

If someone answers, please use simple as much as possible terms, as I am just an archaeologist. I enter data, download and upload pix and videos, get the computer skills needed... not one of extremely competent computer people.

Yes, you will need it dumb down for me.

    Thank you.

  • Portege M800 - horizontal lines on external monitor

I just bought a number of new M800 (model number - PPM81A-06L01J) and all have second screens connected.

On all secondary monitors, there are wavy horizontal lines. Secondary monitors are all of different sizes and different brand and model. They are all also on their native resolution and refresh rate. I also got the latest video drivers installed. Any body have an idea as to why this is and how to fix it?

    See you soon

    Brad

    Hello!

I n t have a Portege M800, but on my Portege M700 I had some problems with the external monitor connected too.
    Here's the story about this:

I connected the new external monitor for Portege M700 directly with an old VGA cable. Usually it t wasn't a problem for me but I was not satisfied with the quality of the image on the external monitor (a bit blurry) so I started to update the display driver and the BIOS of my Portege M700 but without success.
Anyway, I tried a bit with Google and here in the forum and I decided to buy a new high-quality VGA cable. I exchanged the cable and what happens? Perfect image quality!

As you can see, you should always use high quality new cables. Also, make sure that you use the highest screen resolution of the external display (native screen resolution) and set the refresh rate of the screen at 60 Hz.

    Good bye

  • Satellite Pro M10 - horizontal lines on the screen in different areas

    Hi all

    I hope someone can help.
My Satellite Pro M10 seems to suffer a display problem where I have horizontal lines on the screen in different areas.
It would be well for 10 minutes and when the laptop seems to warm up this problem begins, then shortly after
The laptop would crash and enter in a resolution of 800 x 600 16 colors or sometimes freeze.

Graphic drivers have been resettled, and even a new installation of Windows XP from the recovery CD does not help.
A reboot doesn't solve what the same thing happens again and after one minute of use, so I thought it might be a video or cooling problem.
I changed the video card I had a spare part of my last motherboard hoping this would solve the problems, but the problem persists.
Perhaps a cooling problem? Or problems of motherboard?
The motherboard has been replaced twice, hoping that this isn't another mobo problem.

    Any advice would be great.

    Thank you.

    Hello

I m not 100% sure but to me it looks a bit like an overheating problem
Maybe the graphics card may not be properly cooled after a certain period of time and that's why these strange horizontal lines appear on the screen.

I wonder how you were able to replace the graphics chip on the motherboard?  :|
If I m not wrong not the chip is fixed and the replacement is very easy and difficult

It of always difficult to say what's maybe wrong without running several diagnostic tests in most cases this problem may be related to the defective chip or motherboard and so the following should be checked

Sorry, but that's all I can suggest.

I have recently upgraded to Windows 7 on my desktop HP m9350f computer.  I more a few days later my screen has finished by resolution 800 x 600 with horizontal lines on the screen, from the start.  I spent several hours with the support of Microsoft and HP by train to reload the updated drivers from the Internet HP site and Web of NVIDIA site with no improvement.  As part of the normal troubleshooting I plugged a cable and another monitor and the problem is neither the monitor nor the cable.  I removed the video card and temporarily replaced by another video card and the problem goes away, so the problem is with the graphics card (as opposed to the motherboard).  I replaced the NVIDIA card and the problem is back, essentially confirming that the problem is directly related to the graphics card.  While I found 'a lot' of discussions on the internet about similar issues with 9800GT cards, I can't find a solution to this problem. HP and MS have exhausted their resources. Any ideas or solutions?

It's time for a new video card.   Remember to match the energy needs of the new card with the power supply of your PC.

  • Satellite Pro 6000 - horizontal line on top

I have a problem with my toshiba Pro 6000 1.2 Ghz, since I installed the new bios or new drivers windows Toshiba video.

In fact only 6000 has a screen of 15-inch (and not the 14-inch), and when I start it up I see everything, but with a horizontal line at the top of the screen (which change color, can be white with text mode, being black or blue under windows, etc.). The text screen is pressed by about 2 cm from the edge in text mode (during booting, for example.) Red logo Toshiba at the beginning).

It seems that the Bios (or pilots, but I do not think because that's also how during startup) does not correctly handle screen 15 inch laptop computer. I installed the version 1.60 of the Bios. I don't remember the version I was using before.

If I install a 14 inch screen, I don't have the line and I don't have the text squeezed by 2 cm from the top screen.

According to me, but I'm not sure that the problem is not hardware, but more by a software problem (I hope).

    Thank you in advance.
