Horizontal menu, submenu vertical

I use CC of Muse. How to make a horizontal menu with submenus vertical? I looked at the screenshots various people have posted, but they do not work for me. The vertical menu automatically makes the submenus horizontal - I want the opposite.

In your pages subsites add them horizontally in your site map.

As I have here in my following screenshot which will show in your horizontal menu which Untitled 5 and 6 is in fact open horizontally in the menu while the 7, 8 and 9 opens vertically.

Hope that helps.

• Horizontal menu display vertically in IE?

Hi all

I was wondering if there is a solution to my problem.

I built a Web site as a project for the University and the menu is displayed differently in Internet Explorer for Firefox.

I want to be a horizontal menu in Firefox, like this...

But it displays vertically in internet explore, like this...

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

Add/Edit

UL. MenuBarHorizontal ul {}
Width: 230px;
}

Bcause you set the width to auto, IE interprets that string as being allowed to use the full width of the element and giving the width value, we stop at this width.

• Horizontal menu with Vertical axis there too

Hello

I have a horizontal menu that works great except for two things:

1. I want to scroll slowly when users have their cursor over or vertically beside her, but faster when they get it vertically or the cursor is on the object. So I think that if I use the FLF property that would work.

2. the chart that scrolls horizontally Gets a little wonky at the place that is the 0 point (x and y) of the movieclip. As she slowly slips, it wobbles as it is slow to redraw.

Below is the script of the object. Everything works except the if then statement with the FLF info and speed near the bottom. The menu is placed at x =-50 and y = 460 and it is 3155 pixels pixels x 102 wide maximum.

Thank you!

onClipEvent (load)
{
Overview = 400;
Speed = 1/200;

}
onClipEvent (enterFrame)
{
var distance = overview - _root._xmouse;
_x +=(distance*Speed);
If (_x > 0) _x =-1550;
If (_x <-1550) _x = 0;
If the speed (FLF < 200) = 1/200;
on the other
Speed = 1/80;
}

your variable (speed) must change according to the FLF mouse property. but it is changing compared to the movieclip.

I'm not sure that's what you want. You can use _root._ymouse.

• Menu & submenu vertical

Does anyone know how to create (or if there's a widget out there on the market somewhere) a vertical menu which can contain submenu items that develop and push downwards (like an accordion), but who will remain completely open (expanded) once a submenu item is selected (selection allowing another element of submenu without having to return to the parent menu item.) My goal is to have a portrait with 'Home', 'Galleries', 'About', etc with galleries individual in the expandable box (on click or rollover) under galleries, but which remain open once a specific Gallery is selected. I worked in various tests and the only way I can approach is to have state buttons in the drop down menu below a menu accordion element, but that will not be open when buttons are selected.

The only examples I can find are copyrighted by others, so I'm hesitant to reference/display here as examples. Any help would be appreciated.

• Horizontal menu - submenu items

I am wanting to place my menu at the bottom of the page and have submenu items pop up rather than fall down. Is this possible?

You can Karen.

If you select the submenu in question and use the X / Y coords and W / H sizing you can move and resize the menu items.

They can sometimes be annoying and reset if you change the size - but persevere and you'll get there.

Hello

As it has already been mentioned that you can achieve this by using a tab panel widget or composition.

In addition, you can use this menu widget, try turning the widget which will give you the options of the menu upwards.

• horizontal menu with horizontal submenu

I am trying to create a horizontal menu with a submenu horizontally directly underneath. Thus, when you hover over the items in the top menu, the list of subitems appears as a horizontal menu directly below the top menu. I was able to change the widget spry Panel tabs to do for the most part, but there must be a better way. It seems that the widget menu spry for the horizontal menu has just a drop of water to the bottom of the sub-elements in a vertical list below the top menu item. I searched but not found the answer. Could someone please help me with suggestions? Thank you.

• Vertical drop-down menus with CSS horizontal menu

Would I want my menu to look like:
-solid top and bottom border
-first level centred and horizontal menu items
-the menu items of first level at the same distance as opposed to the same widths
-on individual lines and second-level vertical menu items

What actually my menu looks like:

What's wrong:
-do not on top and bottom border
-second level packaging within the width of the container

This CSS is much more complex than what I usually do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My recommendation is to watch the following video of Adobe's Terry White, explaining how to make a custom horizontal menu (use the techniques and adapt):

• Horizontal menu widget - left alignment

Does anyone know an easy way to align the text in a submenu of the Muse CC horizontal menu widget to the left rather than the standard Center-alignment?

Select the submenu container and the hit button on the left of the Align attribute in the text panel (you may have to alternate between Center and left to do this work).

• Horizontal menu with a higher level having pages below.

I examined the response to a similar post and reviewed the settings as shown in the picture. My problem is that I want this a menu item to display pages vertically and not fall down and display on the right. I tried all means to set the preferences on the menu I can think and she won't do not impact on the menu as a whole. This includes unchecking the checkbox that allows individual changes. Can someone give me a step by step procedure to do my a top-level menu item displays pages falls down vertically to selection as opposed to low and to the right of text? It is the latest version of Muse. The menu widget was created allowing him to detect the pages the way they were put in design mode.

OK just in case other users new to dream have the same problem with a horizontal menu that need to have one of the top level links a vertical of the menu drop-down below. Initially in bird's eye view, that I had created the top-level page and all other pages below stacked vertically. What I did to display the way I wanted is to remove the vertically stacked pages and place them on the same horizontal line. See below...

• Submenu vertical

Hello

I created a menu with four items of menu void. Unfortunately, the navigation in the SUP menu is horizontal and I want it to be vertical. How could I just go for the sub menu but leaving the main horizontal menu?

I have watched all the menu options, but cannot for the life of see me where this option is disabled?

Thank you.

The correct way to ensure that the submenus you create in muse are appear vertically in your design even if your main menu is horizontal must ensure that, in the main window of 'plan' menu SUP pages are horizontal aligned with each other under the main menu page they 'out of' - non-aligned vertically directly below them. • How can I customize the States in a menu bar vertical?

I see that it is possible to change States of a horizontal bar here, but I can't make it work for the portrait. Please tell me that we can edit the States in a menu bar vertical.

Valerie

Yes, you hit a bug in Muse, which will be fixed in the next version.

The bug occurs when you have a gradient for the State by default, but no gradient fill for your state. The vertical menu has this default look. You can work around it by removing the default gradient mode or by adding a gradient to the other States.
