  I use CC of Muse. How to make a horizontal menu with submenus vertical?  I looked at the screenshots various people have posted, but they do not work for me.  The vertical menu automatically makes the submenus horizontal - I want the opposite.

  As I have here in my following screenshot which will show in your horizontal menu which Untitled 5 and 6 is in fact open horizontally in the menu while the 7, 8 and 9 opens vertically.

  I am trying to create a horizontal menu with a submenu horizontally directly underneath.  Thus, when you hover over the items in the top menu, the list of subitems appears as a horizontal menu directly below the top menu.  I was able to change the widget spry Panel tabs to do for the most part, but there must be a better way. It seems that the widget menu spry for the horizontal menu has just a drop of water to the bottom of the sub-elements in a vertical list below the top menu item.   I searched but not found the answer.  Could someone please help me with suggestions?  Thank you.

• inserting submenu items via the code - not the file editor graphics *.uir (not the edit > > Menu Bars... method!)

  How submenu items are constructed by code and not the edit menu bar settings in the *.uir Editor?  NemMenuItem (...) does not do that, or I'm not plugging in parameters correctly, which I doubt is the case.  BTW, he has no explanation in the help of v.8.0.1 AIC menu items on NewSubMenu (...) and how to use the subMenuHandler for all other functions.  At least everything I found had nothing to do with submenu items.  Is it impossible to do it by programming?

  The problem is in the submenu of the media/articles.  It only shows two and there are many others.  If you go to the page you can see all the links. I have the page hierarchy properly set up in the title of the page articles with titles.  I've even shortened to see if it works.

  Under the videos link all sub links appear.

  Any help would be appreciated.  I code a little, but I'm not very good.  So please be technically.

  Go to outline view, click with the right button on a page "invisible" and

  (1) make sure, that under 'menu options' the point 'include the page with hypertext links' is enabled.

  (2) choose the option 'Page Properties' and check 'Page Properties/Options', the "Export Page" element is turned on.

  The documentation is not clear with my question and some videos are not up-to-date.

  Let's say I have 3 menu items, A, B, C with 2 elements submenu under B (B-1 and B-2). When I mouse over B, I see 2 submenu items. When I click on B and select the B-1 or B - 2 submenu item, the corresponding page is displayed but I wish that the submenu to stay visible until I select another menu as A or C. How can I do? Thank you.

  This is the default behavior, you must customize this or you can use compositions for the creation of menu where hide none can be configured for the target container.

  There is no native function to Muse to achieve this goal. However, if you host your site on Business Catalyst, you can take advantage of the functionality of breadcrumbs.   As it has already been mentioned that you can achieve this by using a tab panel widget or composition.

  In addition, you can use this menu widget, try turning the widget which will give you the options of the menu upwards.

• How to configure the keyboard shortcuts App for submenu items?

  I'm trying to define keyboard shortcuts for Pro Tools. I am facing a problem, however. I want to put a shortcut for the menu item

  View-> view-> Inserts A-E Edit window

  in the keyboard preferences window, so I've created a shortcut to the App to «inserts A - E» The problem is that there are other elements of submenu in Pro Tools with the same name, for example

  View-> Mix window views-> Inserts A-E

  Track-> Bypass inserts-> Inserts A - E

  and it is the latter who eventually be triggered by the shortcut. In fact the shortcut appears in the three places during the navigation in the menus; but it only triggers the item "bypass".

  In the keyboard preferences pane, is it possible to specify which menu a submenu item resides in?

  It is not possible that you are trying. Shortcuts can handle only a single menu command name. The command being the last point. Other menus of the parent are not considered.

• Menu & submenu vertical

  Does anyone know how to create (or if there's a widget out there on the market somewhere) a vertical menu which can contain submenu items that develop and push downwards (like an accordion), but who will remain completely open (expanded) once a submenu item is selected (selection allowing another element of submenu without having to return to the parent menu item.)  My goal is to have a portrait with 'Home', 'Galleries', 'About', etc with galleries individual in the expandable box (on click or rollover) under galleries, but which remain open once a specific Gallery is selected.  I worked in various tests and the only way I can approach is to have state buttons in the drop down menu below a menu accordion element, but that will not be open when buttons are selected.

  The only examples I can find are copyrighted by others, so I'm hesitant to reference/display here as examples.  Any help would be appreciated.

  Place the menu on a page. Change the type of menu to 'all pages '. You will be able to see the submenu items in the menu drop-down then. You can then select the item you want, go to the hyperlink above and type the address of the external site to amalgamate it with the submenu item.

My problem is that I want this a menu item to display pages vertically and not fall down and display on the right.   I'm bring a menu in Acrobat that will have 10 menu and submenu items. I looked in the sample BasicPlugin, which creates a menu bar and adds a menu and a callback function when the user clicks on the menu.

  I looked in the SDK to add submenus, but wasn't able to do. I want my plugin to add menu and submenu with separator as in "Menu.PNG. And also to call a specific function when the click on submenu items.

  Can someone please help me and provide a code example to achieve this?
