Host name of the server

Hello

I have WebLogic 10.3.3.0 Server, it runs on a host computer with two (public and local) domain names.

Then I deploy the web application with the web services (JAX - WS) and WebLogic generate WSDL files where location the value name of the local server.

How can I set the name of the server that will be used in this case above?

Problem solved. Found host configuration in the field schema.

You must modify the config.xml domain server node and add the following:

        HOSTNAME

  • How to dynamically retrieve the host name of the server APEX?

    Hello

    I have request Express installed 3.1.0.00.32 on 2 servers in a configuration of dataguard, which means I can failover from one server to the other.

    The problem I encounter is the URL. I wrote a beautiful PL/SQ/procedure to send mail, in the body of the mail it is a URL that points to a hard-coded host name (teleg1:7777)
    BEGIN
    ....
     l_url := 'http://teleg1:7777/pls/apex/f?p=109:29:::NO::P29_ID:'||C1.ID ;
    ....
    It can occur I the digital switchover to the other server which name would be teleg2, but then the url change because the host name is "teleg2:7777".

    It should be like this:
     l_url := 'http://teleg2:7777/pls/apex/f?p=109:29:::NO::P29_ID:'||C1.ID ;
    Is there a way to retrieve the host name of a global variable of APEX, something like G_HOSTNAME? Or from another source? As a result, the procedure is as follows:
     l_url := 'http://||G_HOSTNAME||:7777/pls/apex/f?p=109:29:::NO::P29_ID:'||C1.ID ;
    The varialbe G_HOSTNAME would contain etiher "teleg1" or "teleg2" according to the APEX server that executes the PL/SQL procedure at this time.

    I hope I am clear.

    Good day!

    Use the functionowa_util.get_cgi_env . You'd be interested in CGI environment variables SERVER_NAME and SERVER_PORT.

  • Is it possible to get the host name of the server by the client computer.

    Hello

    I have client and server on two different machines connected to the server by the client.

    Is it possible that I can get the hostname of the server (Oracle to which it is connected) the customer means machine using some Reg entry or a request or a someother. ?

    Thank you for your ideas!

    This question has an answer depending on the version. Unfortunately you couldn't be bothered to post your version.
    In Oracle 10 g and more
    Just use
    Select sys_context ('userenv', 'host_name') of double;

    (From memory. Sys_context is documented in the SQL reference manual)

  • Add the name of the server during the registration of the local user accounts

    It should be easy, and maybe I'm looking at the screen for too long today? I'll put up a script automated to run once a month that looks like everything just and the local accounts on each host and sends the output to a file. I use Get-Vmhost |  foreach {get - viaccount}, which generates code and language of each user on each host attached to my vCenter but it just runs them all together. I need to enter the name of the server where each of them so I know what a host ID belongs to?

    The VIAccount object that is returned by Get-VIAccount, has more properties, including the Server property.

    From there, you should be able to extract the name of the server.

    Note that you must be connected to the ESXi server to retrieve local accounts of the ESXi server.

    Otherwise, you will get the vCenter accounts

  • VirtualMachine.Admin.Name and asking the user for the name of the server

    I need to allow end users to designate the name of their server requested when you submit a request through VCAC. I do this using VirtualMachine.Admin.Name in the custom of my blueprint properties and it prompts the user to set.  I have also some scripts that run with the heel of building put into operation once the server is built which require me to enter the VC:VirtualMachine object for the server with the name of the server.  It does this in a loop in a table of all the VC:VirtualMachines met my VCenter server and find a match on the name with an xpath expression.  The name of the server is collected inside the cutting-edge designer using the getVirtualMachineName activity.  This activity is integrated into the designer and aims to do exactly what he says.  He then handed the name in the VCO workflow.  Not much, really.  I have used this method a lot in the past with VCAC.

    Problem:

    Recently, I started running this script on a new installation of VCO (5.5.1) and the new instance VCAC (version 6.0 - 1720522) and I see a very strange behavior.  When I get the name in the tip with the activity of getVirtualMachineName Designer, the name is that name WOULD have been affected had I pressed VCAC to automatically generate name for me using a prefix of machine profile.  Remember that you must associate a prefix of the default machine on your group of companies.  This is the prefix that is used to generate the name and associate it to the server in VCAC despite the fact that I am more precisely the substitution of this name automatically generated with the VirtualMachine.Admin.Name custom property in the custom of my blueprint properties.

    The strange thing is that the server is correctly named in the VSphere console and inside the guest OS.  In other words, the name that the user places in the VirtualMachine.Admin.Name field is what you get in the console VSphere and BONES.  So that part works.  Then why is he not being correctly named in the VCAC VirtualMachine object?

    EC which claimant misnamed is originally my workflow to fail.  I can work around this problem in the workflow, but I fear that there is still problems on the road if the alias is associated with the server inside VCAC himself.

    Once again, I did this with earlier versions of VCAC and VCO and not had this problem.  Anyone else seeing this?  I'm doing something wrong here?

    The custom property to use to allow a user to enter name themselves is the host name (just hostname, nothing else)... That's what I put to prompt the user to our forms.

  • Help with a script. Need to host name, not the FULL domain name

    I'm trying to gather a workflow that will create a user in Active directory and then install SQL server using this account for the service.

    the format of the username I want is SQL_servername

    I use ' hostname = vm.guest.guestId; ' to remove the host name of the virtual machine, but it returns the domain (i.e. servername.domain.name) FULL name

    I tried various methods (rtrim, trim, righttrim, etc.) to remove the domain name to leave me with only the name server, but not appear to work.

    Is there a way of Orchestrator to delete the domain name, or is there another function, I should use to get the short server name.

    Thank you

    server = hostname.substring(0, hostname.indexOf("."));

  • How to get the name of the server (hostname) vCO.

    Hello.

    Someone know how to get host name or IP address of the server vCO in a workflow running on this server? Is there any kind of property, or this method returns the host name of the local host?

    Thank you.

    Try this:

    function getVcoHostname() {
        var answerUrl = workflow.getAnswerUrl().url;
        var re = new RegExp('^(?:f|ht)tp(?:s)?\://([^/]+)', 'im');
        return answerUrl.match(re)[1].toString().split(":")[0];
    }

    Hello

    You get the hostname of the database server using query below.

    SELECT SYS_CONTEXT('USERENV','HOST') FROM dual;

    You can create for example calculation of demand to fill the element of this query.

  • How can I connect my Mac to a network server? As in windows yo go to my computer / connection to a network drive, and then you select a letter and write the name of the server that you want to be logged

    I'm trying to adapt Windows to my new MacBook Pro with OS El Capitan.

    I work remotely for a company and I want to connect my Mac to the server of the company.

    My question is how to connect a MAc to a network drive with the permanently available connection.  For example, in my old HP I went to my computer / connection to a network drive. I've selected a letter and note the name of the server that I wanted to be connected to. The connection was then shown with my other drive hard 'sections '; I want to say C:, D: (for recovery), e: (for tools) and then connecting to the external server has been shown with the selected letter.

    There is no "letter" under OS X. It's a hangover very old of BACK, devices of mapping and volumes labeled mailbox.

    If you are connected to your corporate network, you should see the available network volumes listed in the Finder, in ' my computer > network ", or with the command K to connect to a server.

    You can create an alias for the volume and put it in the Dock, or leave on the desktop or put it somewhere else, and the next time you want to connect to this subject, simply double-click on it. You can also add the server address to your "favourites" in the connect to Server dialog box.

  • Change the name of the server for the Regional service account

    Is there a way to change the name of the server for an EAS account without having to delete the account and add it again?  If this isn't the case, Palm, please put in this capacity.

    Thank you.

    Hello!

    The reason this not prevail as a fail-safe in the EAS Protocol feature.  From a point of view of corporate security, companies do not want the chance to sensitive business data being extract/put in one or more different servers that could very well not be themselves.  Any device using EAS must remove the Acct. and add a new.  Need help with data migrations that isn't the new server.

  • Migration of DHCP: Old name of the server appears in the console, but OK on server DHCP itself

    Last night, I've migrated our production from 2008 to 2012 R2 DHCP servers. Monitoring the migration pretty well thanks to all of our test environments and PROD so guide. Check the DHCP logs on the new server, everything seems to go OK, but there is a question that we can not understand:

    -In the DHCP console on our desktops, I right click on DHCP for 'add a server... '. »
    -Select the "this authorized DHCP server: ' and I see the new name of the server and the INVESTIGATION period.
    -Now, DHCP in the console, the FORMER name of the server appears under the node.

    I thought enter ADSIedit and change the name of the DHCP server might help, but it didn't.
