  • Browser Interface Alternative (Hosted Email Security)?

Is there an alternative to the interface of the web browser for the Hosted Email Security?  Currently, it's a little hard to use interface of the browser for some of the following (but not limited too...)

    1. Very slow page load time
    2. The columns cannot be moved and/or width cannot be adjusted
      1. In areas of audit or junk mail box, the "from" field almost always needs more hovered to see the popout.  Long lists are much easier to post "in brief"... the popout is very inconvenient.
      2. In the boxes for approval all THE fields must be consulted via the popout by placing the cursor on the topic... once again, no other choice 'at a glance'.
    3. Too short login admin time.  (It's adjustable)?
      1. If I am active in the Junkbox, I always get connected.

I do not yell as much as I'm looking for solutions.  The interface works, but it could be improved.

On the 'reverse', I like the address book import/export.  It is very fast and automatically removes duplicates.  Well done!

There is always room for improvement.

Insofar as the fields of audit and the junkbox, I suggest to ask your sales representative to file a feature request for this. We had a side support for awhile.

Sale feature request go directly to product managers where as those of support go to engineering.

Certain areas of the user interface, it will be a bit slow at the moment.

Whenever you visit a page, that the system needs to sort your data specific to the display of all customers who use the Hosted Email Security.

This should improve the wire when improvements are made to the user interface.

  • How can I separate Web hosting email hosting?

Currently, the site is hosted on a host blue w / 76 emails.  When the site is moved to BC I want to keep the e-mails to blue host.  My hypothesis is that the MX records here in BC he had to change to point to bluehost, but have found no information to confirm this or pages to show how it's done.  Any help will be highly appreciated.

OK found this: http://helpx.adobe.com/business-catalyst/partner/set-email-external-email-provider.html if someone else have the same issue...

  • Domain Adobe host / Email FTP host

    Hello!!!

My only current and only area is now hosted by Business Catalyst but the host for my e-mail address attached to my domain name is with a host of third party.

I have the necessary info of my third host but am failing marrying the two.

I just want to let my domain name with Business Catalyst.

I have the necessary info from the third mail host DNS but cannot add to the MailArecord and mailMXrecord. Of course, it's a simple solution that is necessary...

    Thank you smart people!

  • Hosted email v8.3 - Bravo!

I am very pleased with the new site v8.3!  In fact, I'm blown away that he is no more fanfare on this subject.  It's like a brand new product and Dell is expected to announce it (IMHO).  Heck, it should be renamed it feels so different.

I would like to know if there is official release notes so I can see a list of all the changes that have been made.  I'm their discovery that I go along and I don't want to miss any of them.

    Here's what I know:

    1. It's fast... Really VERY fast!  It was change IF necessary and developers delivered!
    2. Several grids have improved, including the junk e-mail box and the interfaces of the audit.
      1. Adjustable column widths
      2. Mobile columns
      3. Removable columns
      4. Filters available by column (it's very fast too!)
      5. All this can be saved.
    3. Strategies to help "ends by" can now use a dictionary.  I am always amazed that wasn't in previous versions, because the "Potentially of dangerous file Types" dictionary is integrated, but I could never work.  Now it works!
    4. Did I mention it's fast!

Seriously, I would love to see the list of changes.  I found the Administrator's guide, but didn't see where the release notes can be found.  I would never have found the "ends with"-feature of dictionary if David Wilbur had not mentioned in another thread.

Also, please let the developers know that they did a great job with this version!  I know that I probably look like a "fan - boy" for some who might be reading of this but I'm really happy with how this interface has changed.

Although it is a little bit different the release notes are here.

It's the solution on Prem, but it is essentially the same.

  • SonicWALL Email Security too slippery through virus Hosted.

We have supported and implemented SW Hosted Email about 2 months ago. Overall we are satisfied with the service, because it takes a huge load on our Exchange Server in the House and our security gateway server.

Shortly after starting to use the service, we had an email with an attached slip infected through and fortunately was spotted by our gateway e-mail server which we left in place for additional checking our email before moving to Exchange server. Windows 7 gateway server runs ALT - N Security Gateway and also Kaspersky Internet Security running. The infected mail was arrested by Kaspersky, being passed to the Exchange Server. I opened a ticket support and after some back and forth with the support of more than a week, you try to download the infected message they finally concluded that the message was indeed infected.

Since then, I have had at least a dozen of infected emails more pass thru not detected, but chosen by our Kaspersky Internet Security.

Our license clearly indicates that we have all services protection antiviruss like Kaspersky, McAfee and Achi. Then I don't understand how these messages/viruses can slip through?

This worries me and certainly is not pushed my confidence in the capabilities of protection the product hosted Email antiviruss.

I think that the servers and software at Dell are superior to our simple installation of Windows 7 running Kaspersky Internet Security.

What can be done to stop viruses and Trojans to get thru?

    Thank you

    Thanks for the comments.

Almost all anti-virus companies have had problems with the exact things you mentioned.

You should see a dramatic decrease in what you see in hosted viruses are concerned.

There was a huge Botnet that was taken down a little more than a week who was mainly responsible for these.

The problem with these is that each campaign they would send the sum of message control and attachments as well as the encryption used on the attachment in order to hide its contents change with each 3 sends e-mails.

In most cases the change in attachment occur about every 1 minutes.

Achi has made some changes to monitor their food and add update definitions that would include new decryption algorithms.

Because each antivirus provider push us their updates at different times, in many cases attachment and the payload had already changed by the only good signature for messages that have already passed.

    Here's what happens soon.

Hosted Email Security will become 8.3.0 which has a lot of new features for the fight against spam, and Virus emails.

Some new features for Kaspersky enabled 8.3 which will help with these as well as messages in URL that can lead to a contaminated site if clicked.

Once we release 8.3.0 I'll go ahead and post a copy of the release notes for you.

  • Configuration email POP on a Muse site hosted on Business Catalyst

Hi, I recently took a Muse 'live' site by using one of the 5 "credits" I got through the creative cloud subscription.  This, I understand it, means that the site is hosted on WebBasics + service, which includes the mail hosting.

The domain name was registered with 1-2-3, redirected to the servers of BC.  It works very well.  Now, I want to set up an email account POP for the domian.

But there is no option to email showing on the BC site for the domain management.

How can I do to get the email with this domain name on the jacket 'system '.

    Any help very much appreciated.

    RP

    RP,

I confirmed that the site is "hosting", which is supplied as standard by your subscription through Muse and the CC.  For hosted email with BC accounts, you will need to be at least a webBasic regime +.

Otherwise, you will need to send external host.  So eager assistance of upgrade and the next please join direct support to the administration panel of your site--> help & support-> go to help & support. This allow you to present and official case or join the live chat.

    I hope this clarifies!

  • How to restore or at least analyze emails from account deleted when the server no longer exists

I have emails from an email address @domain.com that are saved in my Local folder. I would like to follow the instructions to restore this account here: _ http://kb.mozillazine.org/Thunderbird: _FAQs_:_Recover_Deleted_Account

The problem is that the server that hosted email no longer exists, so I can't add it back again. Is it possible to import in Thunderbird yet, so I can always analyze them? Or someone has a suggestion on how I can access these emails in a simple way? I need to be able to search through them, as I already do in Thunderbird.

In general, in IMAP, all your messages are stored on the server and Thunderbird downloads the temporary copies in order to accelerate the search and navigation. Since there are parameters for the amount of content in the message to download, or only the headers, there is no guarantee that you will have messages in their entirety.

For future use, if you have an IMAP account that is connected and the desire to preserve the independent messages from the server, you must copy them to a place outside of the IMAP account folders connected, such as local folders.

  • Not to receive emails from certain areas

    Hello

I have problems with addresses @icloud.com and @me.com because I get emails from specific areas (for example, @supportyard.com). I can send a message to the e-mail address of this area, but when I answered I do not get a message in my accounts @icloud.com and @me.com, or get info that bounces.

It is a huge problem for me because I can't be sure that my emails of @supportyard.com will be delivered to the customer mu @icloud.com hosted email or @me.com.

Doesn't anyone had problems of this kind?

It is the only area that you don't receive email, or are there others?

  • Forum HOSTED e-mail security?

I was everywhere in Dell and SonicWall sites and do not have a dedicated forum for Hosted Email Security.  Have I missed?  This is where I should be?

  • Hosted e-mail security

    Hello

I recently change my virtual for the option of hosted email security solution. I have a few unanswered questions...

-How long can save the hosted all of our emails verification?  (not spam)

-possible to set up the reverse DNS on the DNS MX: "company.com.snwlhostedeu.com."

    Thank you and best regards,

    Lluís Rollan

The audit is 14 days, check-in for 2 days and Junkbox is fifteen days.

Actually, you could add a day each because cleaning routines run to midnight and today's data do not count on these charges.

  • How to configure anti-spam to block addresses email not valid

We receive a lot of spam that (fortunately screenshots of anti-spam) are directed to a non-existent user in our Organization. Is there a way to configure anti-spam to reject completely?

I have a TZ205 with comprehensive services. firmware update

Antispam on the firewall is no not no matter what filtering of recipients.

Antispam on the firewall uses a Proxy connection and depends on the mail server to reject invalid recipient.

The complete Email Security product rejects invalid recipients (Protection of DHA)

The Hosted Email Security currently does not DHA Protection but it is added at a later date.

  • BES by using a hosted Exchange

    Hello community,

I'm quite new to the BB MDS from the server perspective so hope not to mix the apples with berries :-)

We develop client applications that use highly network connections and we would like to see how they behave when the BB is configured for BES and BES has the component MDS helped - thus, the scenario we would like to test is this: http://us.blackberry.com/apps-software/bb_mds_arch_large.gif

We want to achieve a test with not too much effort scenario because our goal is not hosting the BES for potential customers, it is only to have the most realistic scenario for our application testing.

    To perform this scenario:

Does anyone know if the Blackberry 'support' for example Godaddy offers (@see http://www.godaddy.com/email/hosted-exchange.aspx?isc=gsfnsp01&ci=14628) ) with their hosted Email Exchange is full BES? I don't think, but I would like to share experiences with other users of this service.

In addition, if the first path is not good, then I have good understandthe path would be:

Exchange Server hosted somewhere (for example: Godaddy), then set up our BlackBerry Enterprise Server Express to this Exchange deployment. When we got the option activate Installing BES component to our BES MDS and finally reach to set up our BB devices to our BB Enterprise Server Express deployment. Is this fair?

    Thanks in advance

The BES can't force applications to use a specific connection Transport, but it can stop him to use those specific.

The Note is correct, what UDP must be done by direct TCP or WiFi.

  • BlackBerry Q10 please help bounce email

    Hello

I got a new q10 and at them same time moved from o2 to orange as my service provider. Everything was going well outside that if someone sends me an email that they get a return indicating:

    Your message:
    To: {DELETED}
    Subject: PC access
    Date sent: kills Sep 17 11:05:46 2013
has not been delivered to BlackBerry Handheld sound.

    [email protected] via smtp10.bis7.eu.blackberry.com

I can't find anywhere to control this. 02 accuse BB, Orange are clueless and I'm so stressed... anyone with ideas?

    Concerning

    Stu

MOD Edit: Remove information staff to comply with the Community guidelines and the terms and Conditions of use.

There is probably nothing you can do directly. As a customer of O2, you got an email address hosted. This email address can only provide a legacy device BB (except if the redirection rule is placed on behalf of O2). BB10 devices cannot receive emails from these addresses housed except via forwarding. Finally, you can access, via another carrier, hosted e-mail from another carrier.

Therefore, what I take has happened, is that your legacy device has been assigned, by O2, a hosted email address. Now that you've left O2, they took the association to your device for this email address. Therefore, if someone sent to this email address, they receive a rejection because there is nowhere for the O2 deliver e-mail to.

O2 can only solve this problem. It should be simple enough for them to place the transmission authorized on the e-mail address and allow you to continue to receive these (via transfer) for the period of 1 year. Unless, of course, O2 has completely shut down the BIS account and close so also e-mail address. If this is the case, then there may not be any account for them to actually allow the redirect on. I don't know if the transmission of 1 year is subject to the remaining with that carrier or not... it is quite possible that in order to receive the consignment, you should stay a customer of O2, but with a non-BIS account for your device BB10. Switch to another carrier may well just completely shut down this email address hosted, and there may be nothing that can be done. Anyone who sends to this email address will ever receive such a rejection response.

But, once again, only O2 can look at their systems to see what is happening exactly not.

    Good luck!

  • Email removal of blackBerry on the BB and laptops Smartphones

HI - my boss just got a BB Curve 8330 & wondered about one of the features with the help of one of his buddies. Our company uses Internet hosted email we have download in Outlook as a POP3. A setting on Outlook has been defined for a copy of the email is stored on the hosted server. This allows the BB download email on your handheld.

Apparently an e-mail setting is on the BB which can remove the two messages of the BB & the PC?

Since that he has downloaded the message to his eyes, when he chooses to remove both of the BB, this will remove the message on our hosted mail server or its prospects, both?

He needs to sync something or use the desktop software?

    Thanks in advance.

Yes the IMAP is considered a better Protocol on POP3. It's just a matter of talking to Outlook to the server to check the status of ' / unread / delete "message, you can get in a typical setup exchage, no POP3, IMAP I will do the job
