  Hello Bernie1 and welcome to the forums of Palm.

  I'm assuming you are trying to install Palm Desktop on Windows XP/Windows Vista/Windows 7.  Before you can install the software on a Windows box, your Windows user account must belong to the Administrators security group.  See your Windows documentation for instructions on how to add your account to this group.

  Once you have added the new security role to your Windows account, restart the computer, and then try again to install Palm Desktop.

  Hello! To sync an iPhone with iOS 9 or more on board, you need iTunes 12.3 or higher, which is not compatible with OS X 10.7.5.

  Start button / all programs/Palm/PIM led Sync / syncing with Outlook.

• notes from the iPhone will not sync for Mac

  I use iCloud-based limited - find my iPhone, iCloud Drive, reminders, Notes, and news. Settings for iCloud shows these three elements under tension. Unfortunately, Notes does not sync to Mac now or never. Settings for iCloud shows that the Mac and the iPhone are connected to iCloud. I don't know if new is sync for iCloud, as there is no icon for it on the web page of iCloud.

  In settings iCoud on the Mac, it is not a single entry in notes even if there are 15 different notes on the phone which are changed daily on the lists. On the phone, there is a 0 for the notes in iCloud.

  As far as I know, Notes should work, but I can't say what the problem is.

  This could be a difficult problem to solve, as there are several possible causes for this. Please test after taking each of the steps that you have not already tried it. Back up all data before making any changes.

  Before proceeding, test on another network, if possible. This could be a Wi - Fi access point public, if your computer is portable, or a cellular network, if you have a mobile device that can share its Internet connection. If you find that iMessage works on the other network, the problem is in your network or your ISP, not in your computer.

  Step 1

  * Note: If you have enabled 'find my Mac' or FileVault, then you cannot activate the guest account. The login 'User comments' created by 'Find my Mac' is not the same. Create an account to test and delete it, including his home folder, after testing.

  If iMessage worked in the guest account, stop here and post your results.

  Step 11

  Start in safe mode and log on to the account of the problem.

When you configure a support call, select "Apple ID" as the product that you need help, not model material. In this way, if you're not under AppleCare, you can talk your way out of being charged for the call.

• hot sync problem - Date Palm Z22 - hold on synch book...

  I have a palm Z22.   I got it for several years.  Recently, I downloaded 6.2.

  When I hotsync, everything happens as it should, but it freezes on the synchronization of the agenda.

  Here's what happens in a second nano:

  I have exactly the problem you have described on my Centro.  Looking through the other posts, I found a suggestion to install a program on your handheld called dbfixit.  It's free on cnet.  When you run it, it will not correct the errors (at least the free version won't), but it will tell you what are the mistakes.  If you look at the errors, it will give the date of the registration.  I had a few old calendar entries that had been corrupted.  I deleted them and then the sync works perfectly.  I hope this helps.

  Hi, I was wondering if someone could set up the Jabber client Mac 8.6.2 to use the server of presence of WebEx Connect with a local farm the CUCM and connection of the unit.   You must connect to your Webex portal and activate these settings to connect.  Once they are allowed, log out/log in Connect and you should be able to configure CUCM TFTP, etc..

  I bought 11 elements and tried to download several times. When I get a notification, the download is complete, I wonder if I want to open PhotoshopElements_11_WWEFDJ.exe.  When I click on 'open' all I get is a dialog box full of gibberish.  When I close the dialog box, the cycle starts again. Help!

  You can download the Mac trial since http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop_elements&loc=us.  If your serial number is cross-platform, then it will be accepted by the test of items 11 Mac.

• Palm Z22 Hot Sync anomaly

  Hi all

  I'm new on this forum and had an unusual fact with Hot Sync-ing my Palm Z22 to my computer running Windows XP PRO. I created a new appointment in March of the year next on the handheld and when I sync it with my computer, there is no data for it.

  Does anyone know if there is a restriction of the civil year on Hot Sync that is only in the current year? Or is there a setting somewhere that I have to replace?

• hot-sync / Verizon Centro

  I was unable to hot-sync my Centro Verizon with my desktop for more than 2 weeks. It will connect and start normally, but then it is hampering all the 2nd part of the synchronization of the agenda. After a while, I have to cancel the operation. I have a third party application called Datebook more, I used for a long time without problem. We have also recently installed a suite of McAfee security on this computer. I even installed Palm Desktop on my laptop and tried to hot-sync the Centro with it, but he got hung up in the same way. Help!

  Sounds like a corruption of database on the Centro.

  I suggest you fix repeatedly recommended here using pimlicosoftware.com DBFixit

  It will look for and fix many errors on your Palm, but may require purchase to fix all of them.

  The "sledgehammer" approach would be to Hard Reset the device (which will erase it) and rename your Folder /Backup on your computer before you do your first Hotsync on the phone recently deleted.
