  • Sync with iTunes on a Mac or a PC requires:

    • Mac OS X v10.8.5 or later
    • PC: Windows 7 or later
    • iTunes 12.3 or later (free download from www.itunes.com/download)

  iTunes too old and too old osx to support necessary to have iTunes, you will need to update osx to update iTunes to work

  I just bought a new computer and assume everything I had to do was download the latest version of Palm Desktop 6.2 and outlook 2007 and plug it in with my USB and click on the hot sync button. It is said, insert the floppy disk provided with your phone, but the disk is not moving the problem at all. Any suggestions?

  What version of Vista?  32-bit or 64-bit?

  If 64-bit, you cannot synchronize via a cable.   There are number of threads of instruction at the top of this section relating to synchronization with Vista64.  One possible way is via BlueTooth or Infra-red...

  You will need to:

  1. install Palm Desktop 6.2.2 (search for one of Wyrenut sons, where he links to it, a recent reshuffle of the forums by HP removed the stickied thread that kept the top of this forum where it was easy to see);
  2. Install the Aceeca 64 bit drivers (also doing a search here for synchronization with windows 64-bit); and
  3. install PalmHotsyncSetup of www.pimlicosoftware.com , which should make your M500 more compatible with the latest Palm Desktop.

  I got my Clie TH-55(Palm OS 5.2.1) for some time now, say 2 years, but recently, I made the switch to Vista (not by choice, I got a new laptop for free). I had been synchronize my CLIÉ Palm Desktop and so when I got my new laptop, I went and download desktop 4.1.4e in the hopes that I could continue the sync on vista. The installation went well, it is, I can do a hot sync but none of my data transfers. If I create a new contact on my handheld, it will not be displayed on the desktop and even vice versa. When I check the hot sync log, it says that there are no errors. I didn't know if I should go to the forums of Palm or Clie forums so I apologize if this is no longer a Clie problem which should be in the forums of clie. Thanks in advance...

  I found the problem, it had to do with the running of the Office to palm as an administrator. Once that I thought that was the problem, I put it to always run as administrator.

• When Apple will repair the IOS 9.2 to sync with the bluetooth in my car.

  I had my vehicle in Service several times because my Iphone 6s does not synchronize with the Bluetooth in the car.  Engineers contacted GM Apple and informed there is a problem with the sync Apple products now that Apple updated to IOS 9.2.  I'm sure that there are many users who has the same problem.  Can you tell me when I can expect a fix for the problem.

  9.2 IOS works very well with my Chevy.  So apart from the fact that nobody here knows if everything when Apple plans to do something... or even recognize it, why not tell us what youv'e done troubleshooting.

  iOS9 on a mobile device requires iTunes 12.3 or higher, which in turn requires a computer running OSX 10.8.5 or higher.  Update of the system only checks the updates for the current version of the system you run, but that itself can be updated.  It may or may not be possible to upgrade your computer to the system requirements.  If you are still really running that the G5 in your profile there is no way that you can upgrade to iTunes 12.3 If you have an Intel Mac:

  You can either buy a download for Apple OSX 10.8 Mountain Lion code online, or you can try to install the free El Capitan OSX 10.11.  El Capitan can run slower on older machines and require the additional purchase of RAM.  Making a big jump in versions of system is also more likely to affect the old software.

  You synchronize using iCloud? iCloud is a synchronization system, not an external 'hard drive '. If you remove them on your device, they will remove icloud. To increase the available space, go settings/iCloud/Photos and select optimize iPhone/iPad storage. That will reduce the space required by 90% when it is fully effective.

  If you don't use icloud, how you sync the computer and the phone?

  but when I disconnect the device...

  After about 30 seconds "BOLD" goes down, only the red light flashes and it needs a reboot

  Your question is often asked and answered here on the forums.  There is no way to use a USB Hotsync connection with Vista 64-bit desktops.  Your solution is with Bluetooth, as described in this thread stickied near the top of this map.  You can also try a Wi - Fi connection.
