  Model name: iMac identifier model iMAC c16.2: retina 4 k lTE 21.5 2015, 3.1 GHz, intel core i5, 8 GB, 2 TB HD, El Capitan 10.11.2 fusion Mem.  Office spaces and hot spots remaining after that computer sat for about 30 minutes.  A reboot will bring these functions, but then they stop after a short period. I tried the disk utility, Warrior of disc that works sometimes.

  Please describe more precisely what is happening - I do not understand what you mean by "Office space" (Mission control do you mean?) and the 'hot spots' (active corners?). What does not work exactly? Can post you some screenshots?

  I see a few similar threads, but not exactly the same problem, I do not see the menu.

  I inserted a JPG > selected the img > open the Properties menu > expanded menu: lack of hot spot Menu

  I tried to delete the "macfilecach...". "no luck, then I tried uninstaller and reinstalling is also no luck.

• How to place the six icons of Navigation (or buttons) on the image grid to fluid

  I can't do my head back on the ground as this tile and not fit correctly. I can't make the icons of navigation (buttons) part of the image and then create hot spots because hot spots do not move with the image properly when operating or is seen in another device (hotspots be Miss aligned). It is important that the navigation is placed on top of this image because of site design problem I don't want to waste time talking. I have created some icons (or buttons) in photoshop and need to place them on my header image (which is my logo and a few other graphics). How to place these iteams on my header image so that they scale with the just-right header image and are placed? HELP I'M LOSING HAIR

• How to disable/restrict personal hotspot without turning off the phone's data?

  Web restrictions work well for iphones for my kids.  We use the circle of disney at home, with the circle of disney GO! product to provide a filtering not at home.  (we also use restrictions to disable Safari and don't allow apps, we know to be installed, otherwise, the app store is disabled.)  We are quite draconian parents.  But it's not important right now)

  Turning on personal hotspot on a phone with the data actually bypasses * everything *.  If kid 2 has a phone with no data, but a browser.  Child 1 to an iphone that has locked the web browser of the restrictions on, and is allowed to have data that it can play Pokémon Go, read some wiki apps, and use the iMessage.

  Child 1 turn on personal hotspot, kid2 connects sound phone (or laptop or other) through it and volia! Unfettered internet access.

  IF, however, there is a way to disable the personal hotspot, the question is carefully disappears.  Yes, you can still play Pokémon Go and iMessage is always turned on, but you can't be sneaky.  (please, no comments about how I should trust my children.  I do, but I was once a male 14yo.  full stop.)

  I could disable data completely, but I want to leave some stuff.

  Web restrictions and the browser crashes are a very good start.  And I would have thought that cell parameters (with the personal hotspot OFF) lock would prevent changes.  Nope.  Allows still flipping the switch independently.

  Am I missing something stupid obvious?  (certainly wouldn't be the first time.)

  Your cell carrier allows personal hotspot for each phone number. Ask them to turn it off for the iPhone you want to not use it.

  I'm unable to use my personal Hotspot via USB with my iPhone 6 s more and Windows 10.

  Personal hotspot works via wifi, iTunes can recognize my device and windows Explorer.

  When I turn on personal hotspot via the usb port on my phone though, Windows network is not picking it up.

  There is no new detected internet connection.

  I think that it is a problem of driver under windows 10.

  No matter who ate any ideas on how to fix it?

  I've done several reboots of both phone and PC, plus an uninstall, reboot, reinstall iTunes

  My personal hotspot stopped working completely immediately after the 9.3.1 update on my 6s +. It does not seem to have any correlation with Wondows 10. I use my hotspot everyday for businesses, and it worked fine (though often wayward) on Windows 10 with iOS 9.3. Often it took to turn the hotspot on / off several times before that Windows recognize it. I get nothing now when I allow it. No blue banner high and certainly no link available with Windows 10. It seems that Apple has missed something again. I was curious, able to get yours you worked?

  I have Satellite L500D and when I connect to the freedom of a hotspot Wi - Fi with no pc security says connected without an internet connection. As PC is brand new, I have ran troubleshoot-made said something on the cards to reset but no result. PC poster networks, connects but won't give internet.

  Usually for these free hotspots you need a key of the owner to access the Internet or the MAC address must be allowed.

• No "Tethering & portable hotspot" feature on Slate 21 Pro?

  I bought a 21 Pro slate for my father cognitively-challenged to use in her nursing home room. The key factor was the fact that the switch is on the front, by the way. That's why I don't have the model no pro.

  I expect a very simple hardware configuration, with the DSL modem connected only to the slate of 21 and any material (tablet used by a person for assistance) using the WiFi. No problem, right? Just go to settings-> Wireless & networks->-> tethering & portable hotspot.

  That the setting seems to be absent on the 21 Pro slate. Did I miss something, or did HP remove this feature of their variant of Android? If the answer is that HP has turned off the feature, how can I encourage them to change their minds on this subject?

  What I understand the function of Tethering and Hotspot in Android is specific to mobile data and does not allow sharing of ethernet or wifi.  As the slate products 21 do not have a cellular antenna, the feature is not available in the settings.  For this reason, I believe that your only solution is to buy a wireless access point to get what you are looking for.

  Looks like you're missing the Personal Hotspot in your settings. I would check these steps in the following article:

  My new tablet, slate 7 more, c. 4.2.2 kernel v. 3.1.10 - g2630132 does not connect to my iPhone 4, ios 7.0.6.

  The Tablet works fine on wifi router database connections.

  The Tablet sees different iPhones when the personal hotspots are active on these phones and I can enter the security keys.  The Tablet shows "signal strength Excellent and"WPA2 PSK security."  However when I press "Connect" the Tablet shows the hotspot iPhone simply as 'Saved, secure with WPA2.'  The Tablet does not actually connect.

  My goal by purchasing this tablet had a portable device that I could work out my phone personal hotspot.

  Suggestions, or can someone point me to a FAQ tip or tech that I might have missed?

  I was able to connect to Iphone 4S my son without problem.

  I had to make sure I typed the passkey precisely, and by clicking on the check box "Show characters" did help.

  I've seen some messages on the internet where there is Android devices connection problems if the phone name had special characters in it, but we still managed using a name such as "batman Iphone 4»

  You can also make sure there is no special characters in the name just to be safe.

  It seems that both of your network cards do not work.

  The driver that I gave you for the wireless is indeed the correct driver.

  This is the driver for the ethernet (Realtek) adapter.

  This package contains the Realtek driver local area network (LAN) that allows the NIC (NIC) Realtek chip in the notebook models that are running an operating system supported.

  What I suggest you try is...

  Go to Device Manager and click to expand the category of device of the network adapters.

  Then, uninstall the network adapters and drivers.

  To do this, right-click on them and select uninstall.  Also check the box uninstall driver.

  Reboot and try to install both of these drivers I posted again.

  If it does not either, I suggest that you back up the files that you do not want lose and do a cover of the plant.

  I use smart connect often enough on my old Z1 Compact. On my new XZ, I also want to use the same way.

  But although the versions are the same, that I miss actions on the XZ.

  -I can't adjust the brightness of the screen when I want to enter nightmode. I don't know the feature to decline automatic intensity.
