How a request to load at startup?

IV ' e stated that the answer to this question is to drag the applications icon in the startup folder, but I can't find a startup folder. I tried to create a startup folder under Program Files and move the icon applications for her, but she did not.

Try the link above, but if you do this backup the registry first by creating a system restore point.

Hope this helps, check your application first setup (options), you can have a check box that will allow to run at startup.

    Thanks for any help.

If it's the windows index service you can turn it off via the admin tools Control Panel.

If it's a third party indexing service, you may need to disable the program by clicking on the Start button > run > msconfig > Startup tab

  • A drive mapped on P to P does not load at startup upward.

My question is similar, but may have a different answer.  I have a peer-to-peer network and my computer plays the main role.  In the morning he gets turned on first so that other computers can charge the player.  Some of my programs require that the mapped drive is the same on all computers like me.  The problem is that when I turn on my computer, it does not read the drive mapped on himself and he listed as disconnected.  I then manually go and plug.  Again, it is annoying more then anything.  Any suggestions?

    Hi Loreman,

Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Community.

From the descriptions of the question, it seems that mapped drive does not load at startup to the top.

I imagine the inconvenience that you are experiencing. I'll help you fix the problem.

Follow the methods and mark the question below:

    Method 1:

    Disable the antivirus software:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/disable-antivirus-software

Important note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    Method 2:

Drive mapped to the network connection may be lost:

Warning: Important This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. How can I find out what files do, especially files from Microsoft to start? Looking for file names always seems to give a vague result and an exhortation to try a magic registry repair program.

Here is an article on startup programs/applications. It might give you a better understanding of the subject.

    Excerpt:

    Key to 'status ':

"Y" - normally leave to run at startup

"N" - not required or not recommended - generally used that rarely tasks that can be run manually if necessary

'U' - user choice - depends whether a user considers necessary

'X' - definitely not required - typically viruses, spyware, adware, and "resource hogs".

  • Why some of my icons to the taskbar sometimes fail to load at startup?

Can anyone suggest why some of my icons on the taskbar often fail to load at startup.  I have Win7 set to display all icons (IE do not hide)

    Thank you very much

    Hi Mike,.

Here is a checklist that you can go through potentially solve your problem. When you have gone through the list, re - start of course to see if the icons will load at startup after you perform these steps:

    (A) uncheck "Auto-hide the taskbar", as appropriate:

.. Right-click on the taskbar, select properties and find 'Auto-hide the taskbar' tab taskbar

    (B) turn off the composition of the Bureau:

    1. right click on computer > properties

    2 advanced System Settings

    3. in the course of execution, click settings

    4. check (enable) or uncheck the Enable (disable) the Composition of the Bureau

    5. apply

    Updated C) drivers:

Maybe it's the drivers for your hardware components that need to be updated.  Although Windows 7 tries to install drivers for as much as possible, the drivers - who often change - may not be the latest film from the manufacturer's Web site.

You can check the latest updates of Windows and install the latest drivers available. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. click on start, all programs and then Windows Update.

    2. click on search for updates on the left of the screen.

    3. If updates are available, go ahead and install them.

You can also check for the drivers from Device Manager.

    1. open Device Manager by clicking the Start button, click on the Control Panel, clicking system and Maintenance, and then clicking Device Manager. ?

If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

2 search for graphics cards and expand it. Now, right-click on it and select Properties.

    3. click Driver tab and click Update driver. Windows will now try to find the latest drivers for the graphics card.

4 restart the computer after installation and verification.

You can also follow this link to update the drivers:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/update-a-driver-for-hardware-that-isn ' t-work correctly

In addition, go to the website of your computer manufacturer and check if the latest driver updates are available.

  • load at startup in the web.xml file

    Hello

I know not to load at startup in servlet
When this servlet is called, it is called automatically, or to call

    Give me an example

tag may appear inside the tag in web.xml and tells the container of web on this particular servlet loading. If load at startup is not specified then container load a particular servlet when he feels necessary is more likely when the first request for this servlet. According to the specifications of Java enterprise the following rules apply:

    1. to load at startup value > 0, servlet with least number will be loaded first when the web application is deployed or when the server starts. Servlets with a higher number of load-on-startup after loaded as servlets with a smaller number have been loaded.
    2. If the value of is the same for two servlets, then they will be loaded in the order in which they are declared within the web.xml file.
    3. If is 0 or negative, or there is no evidence for any servlet then this servlet will be responsible when the container considers necessary to load it.

suitable for the servlet that performs tedious work. for example, to create a pool of database connections, prepare a few application environment etc. In web applications based ATG have usually entered us for NucleusServlet to load at startup as 1 that's why NucleusServlet is loaded on startup of the server resulting in the ATG to start services.

  • Connections of loading at startup

    Hello

I have links in an XML file I want SQL Developer (1.5) to load at startup. Where/how to set this up?

As indicated, you need permission to write under your profile to create the configuration file. Talk with your admin.
If you can't write, and admin will not let you, you can also specify an alternative route (to which you can write to); Add to \sqldeveloper\bin\sqldeveloper.conf:

    AddVMOption-Dide.user.dir=C:\sqldeveloper

    Hope that helps,
    K.

    Hi all

I would like to run my application at startup of the window, but I need to prevent users from desktop icons by clicking (and viewing), taskbar, desktop and other UI features.

In other words, after the connection of Windows that I want to warn explorer.exe to load at startup.

    Is this possible?

    Thank you all

There is a registry key to do that by default the value is explorer.exe, if change you it to abc.exe, abc.ex will be laucnhed on startup instead of explorer.exe.

Don't remember the good key path but a quick google search should help you.
