How can I activate the entrance sign of tablet PC in Windows 8?

I use Tablet PCs since Windows XP tablet PC edition.  I have just upgraded my Lenovo X61T tablet PC of Windows 8 (new installation) and I can't for the life of understand me how to turn the tablet on the entrance sign of PC for use in the office.

If you are not familiar with, I'm looking to see these instructions of Windows 7.  Tablet PC Input Panel flies in from the right or left when you move your pen near the Panel.  It will also give you an Input Panel icon when you click on a field, just below the field.  I could move my mouse over the field without clicking, using Input Panel and hover over the button enter my pen without clicking.  It is fast and efficient.

So far in Windows 8, the only thing I found in the Office is to right click on the taskbar and change the keyboard 'Touch '.  On my tablet, it is not contextual, takes almost half of the screen and doesn't go away once I entered the data with the pen.

In Control Panel, there is an option within parameters of the Tablet PC for "configure your pen and tactile displays.  You click on "Setup" and then it prompts you to click on the screen with your stylus.  I did but nothing changes, I can't understand what he's doing.  There is no help in Windows 8 for her.

I opened a case with Microsoft to get help, but so far, the three experts I spoke with that have not been able to understand.  I also updated the Lenovo drivers on my Tablet for newer versions supporting Windows 8.

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you, Daniel

Hi Daniel

In Windows 8, the Tablet PC Input Panel is no longer available. The touchpad replaces this component and that component's behavior has changed. The executable file for this component is always tabtip.exe.
