How can I close Adobe Application Manager so CC update?

I use Windows 10 and I opened the Task Manager and has completed the task, then stopped and restarted InDesign, but I always get the message in the first image below. Also is there some process that I need at the end? The second image below shows all Adobe processes are running (at least all those that begin with "Adobe").

Thank you.

Hi kyriosity.

> Try to close all running instances of Adobe in the Task Manager.

> Re-open the app office creative cloud and try to update.

If it still does not work, restart your computer and try again.

Let us know if this will help.

    Hello!

Application Adobe Manager just told me that there are updates available for Cs5.

I pressed the update, but has noticed that Photoshop and Bridge were running, so I stopped the installation to exit programs.

I stopped the installation when you are supposed to do to get your password for the computer, then Adobe Application Manager chrashed.

I restarted the computer, but the update wouldn't automatically start again.

Is it possible to start Adobe application Manager manually? I want my updates, haha.

    Thank you!

    Hi michaell67763173,

Which operating system you are using?

    > Restart your computer and then try to update again.

    Or

Mac: Adobe all force them to leave the activity monitor processes (for example Adobe application manager, sync Core, Desktop Services, broker CIB Adobe Adobe, Adobe Crash demon etc..)

Windows: Force quit Adobe all processes from the Task Manager (for example Adobe application manager, sync Core, Office Services, Adobe, broker IPC from Adobe, Adobe Crash demon etc..)

Let us know if that helps.

  • Adobe Application Manager does not update on Win 8.1-> cannot install apps

Since the update PC Windows 8.1, Adobe Application Manager that manages creative Cloud applications will not update, that is why we cannot install or update apps CC (specifically, Acrobat).

By clicking on the download button on the Acrobat of CC page, Adobe Application Manager begins to update, and then stops with error:

    We encountered the following problems:

    Adobe Application Manager cannot install.

    [Quit]

Repeated attempts fail.  It is urgent to admin several CC apps so to be forced to use the App handler brings us a break of substantial activity.

  • How can I close the Application Adobe handler?

The application manager is stuck on my dock and won't close/exit.

When I update my Adobe software, that it stops and a notification says Adobe Application Manager should be close first.

You can force quit of Activity Monitor.

    Close all open Adobe applications,

Don't forget to put an end to all Adobe processes as creative cloud, CoreSync, AAMUpdater, Adobe Crash PDAPPdemon... .etc

Applications > utilities > activity monitor.

Then again the cloud creative app and try to update.

  • I can't reinstall Adobe Application Manager (AAM)

I have installed Adobe CS5 (and work) on my tour Pro Mac running Lion (10.7.5) with 3 terabytes of disk and 14 gigabytes of memory. However, in some way, Adobe Application Manager (AAM) has been removed - can - be my carefree, even if I do not remember how that could be.

Now I can't install new software, uninstall CS5 or even reinstall AAM. If I download AAM and try to install it, the installation program is unable to initialize (a close paraphrase of the message that appears in the context menu) and suggest you contact the manufacturer. I did it and unfortunately the telephone support (so far) is not able to resolve the problem, despite much time spent trying different things with me.

Anyone out there has any ideas on how I could proceed.

I should add that I "Repair permissions" (more than once) and even downloaded a new copy of Lion and reinstalled.  Nothing has changed.

Thank you in anticipation of your help.

I got a call back from Adobe this morning and we deleted a few files and we were then able to install the AAM. This allowed then Acrobat Pro XI be installed without any problem. Screenshot of the relevant entries in the trash for more information, but I do not know where the records were initially.

AAMUpdater had an empty folder that it contains ("1.0").  AAMUpdateInventory had a "1.0" in folder, which contained all a bunch of things - 70 folders of stuff Adobe on various aps, the extensions Manager, fonts...  The folder 'Application Manager' had four and seven cases, and the 'ApplicationManager' folder (note the lack of a space) had an empty folder of AAMRefs only.

Everything happened too fast for taking correct notes.

I don't know if it's intentional or not, but it is compatible with all my other research assistance, such as Photoshop and elements. My questions are never an answer help local pages with program itself can be found on the adobe site and after days looking for something similar to the problem, adobe managed to wear down me and I give up and get rid of the program.  Never once, I was able to only use items 11 due to installation and interfaqce problems wuth no response.  I rarely use Photoshop because despite what is said how easy it is to accomplish complex tasks, I found that there is nothing in Photoshop which cannot be done without all the fuss that allows to program and cheaper also. • Doesn't have installation: how to revive the Adobe Application Manager for Photoshop CS6 updates

Installation failure of Adobe Extension Manager CS6 - while 2 other update Photoshop CS6 intall. I installed Adobe Reader X.

What I discovered why the notice from the application manager on the updates for CS6 - and I just confirm that as well.

Apparently installing drive blocked only the installation of Adobe Extension Manager CS6 update - say another installation process has been running... these things happen sometimes.

However, it seems Adobes Application Manager module update does not follow its facilities failed? It does not automatically announce this update has not been installed and notice me once again to install it. At least not immediately.

So how I rerun the e-mail update Adobe Application Manager to check the updates manually?

You are going to Photoshop CS6 > help > updates...
