How can I confirm that my T420 is updated after a fresh installed win7

Hi all

Well, as the title says, I just bought a T420 and installed a new SSD. Then, I installed win 7 and managed to get the other drivers from the support page for driver lenovo than win 7 didn't pick up. However, I know there are updates driver and/or utilities lenovo I should put to day and so I was wondering what is the best way to confirm that my system works the latest revisions of drivers/firmwae/bios/utilities... without adding utilities bloatwhare.

I noticed there is a Thinkvantage utility, which is useful

Thank you

Derek

Good day and welcome to the community.

Not sure that Thinkvantage 'utility' that you see, but if it's SystemUpdate, then Yes, it is useful for what you hope to accomplish.

Please see: http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/products/Laptops-and-netbooks/ThinkPad-T-Series-laptops/ThinkPad-T42... for the latest version.

I hope this helps.

Regrards.
