How can I contact adobe to confirm that I have the product, I intend to buy

I keep from chats with adobe and never seem to get to the finish line. I have the impression that the person on the other end has a script they follow and deviations are not possible. I bought Lightroom 6 stand alone. the download provided on my order page button gave me a mobile version of lightroom 6. I assume that it's 2 different animals since they distinguish even between versions in the selection of the help menus.

I tried calling adobe but everything seems tailored to creative cloud, which I am not a Subscriber.
