  Help files offline with all the challenges of Vista, but most of the time it works.  However, I have a number of files that are currently available offline that I no longer need to use offline.  I followed the normal steps of the click right and is going to click on the button "Always work offline", but it is disabled (grayed out).  I thought it might mean that I'm out of sync, but after a synch-all, the selection is always disabled.  Is there a way to Vista to do this?

  The error was mine, and it is the result of the use of firefox sync and reinstall my laptop with a similar setup... but a different computer name.   Whenever I have press NumLock or CapsLock Maj, a useless and annoying indicator appears. I was extremely frustrated with this indicator, it is often close me out programs in full screen (videos and especially games) just to tell me that I pressed the caps lock button. If possible, I'd love to permanently disable these indicators/notification for caps and numlock.

  The online instructions indicate:

  1. Click Search, and then type Control Panel , and then click the appropriate search results.
  2. Click the icon to display , and then click change display settings on the left panel.
  3. Click on the Advanced settings, and then click the display tab.
     Note: ThinkPad is displayed on the screen tab, should install the Hotkey driver.
  4. Check enable on-screen display.
  5. Under the "NumLock and CapsLock indicator settings" section, look for 'while the digital lock or caps lock is on"section, choose the option 'display the indicator for a few seconds'.
  6. Click apply, and then click OKand click OK to close the window.

     I did not tab display on the screen, and I don't know what is the pilot "Hotkey". I have tried to download a driver related to display the parameters of the Lenovo download page, but that generated an error message. One of my friends suggested that the way to remove this could be through the registry editor, but I am not convinced that I could take without seriously damaging the software in some way.

     Please, if anyone has solutions, suggestions or advice, I would appreciate you sharing! Thank you for reading.

  How to disable the button 'cap lock' on my keyboard? During the game, when things are moving fast, sometimes I touch the cap instead of shift lock button to the left and it stops until I'm on the stupid little pop-up window. Who imagined this? Could not have been first in his class.

  I don't know any way to disable the SHIFT key.  I guess you can delete the key CAP a do a little harder to reach.  The best thing to do is probably get another keyboard that has the SHIFT key in a different location.  FWIW, I have the same problem with the keyboard on my netbook because of its small size.

  I recently started to see a pop for Firefox iOS and Android advertising when I use Firefox on Windows 7. It takes the form of a notification, just bar below the URL bar read 'bring your bookmarks and passwords with you.   in this case I suggest to close the whole software and not let it run with windows, all the time because it is not necessary. If you can open the software once a week to check the status of the ssd and close it again.
