  If the application does not have an option to disable loading with Windows you can stop it yourself.

  In Windows XP, click START and use the application RUN.  In the box type "msconfig" (without the quotes) and press ENTER.  A new window should appear, click on the Startup tab and any application here may be prevented from loading by unchecking the appropriate box.

  Once you're done, click the button 'Apply', then 'OK '.  When you then start in Windows, these programs will run no longer.

  In Premiere Pro, whenever I have move some clips, this split view appears and for some reason that it makes my computer stall for 2 minutes each time. Imagine how long it takes to make a video then!

  Some security software, our company is installing Exchange Windows to "run".vbs file extension to "open in Notepad." When the computer connects, Notepad will automatically launch and "runaddinchecker.vbs" is open. The user must close it spend.
