How can I download a Muse to GoDaddy site?

I redesigned a website for a client in Muse and now we are ready to consider direct. She has a site on GoDaddy so I need to replace it with the new site. Also, I would like to know if there is a way for me to keep all the info on the old site... as a secret as I can get, just so that I have it for reference that I keep for the redesign of the site. The site, by that we want to replace is basically a part of Phase 1, so I would like to refer to the old site... Although it is available to the general public. Who is? But my number one goal is the new site up.

To set up the new site, you will need to download on Godaddy using upload to FTP feature in muse. Please see the link below which explains more in this regard.

To secure the old site, you will need to do some work in Godaddy file manager. Below is one of the ways that I can use to ensure the former site.

Go to the file (inside the folder public_html) Manager
Create a new folder called "backup".
Return to the public_html folder and copy all the files except the "backup" folder and paste them into the backup folder. Now the url for the site of the former backup will become yourdomain.com/backup

Note: You must do the steps to backup before you download muse to FTP site.

How can I download my Muse site.

Somehow my off line-saved copy of my Muse site got all blocked upward. In my saved copythe web pages is no longer to rely on the master page even if I saved the page I downloaded last via FTP and it is great online. I wonder if there is a way to import my muse site and see if this help? This could be a problem of Muse? should I remove muse and redownload it?

It's not a way to import your site online in Muse (other than changes you make via BC BIE).

If the pages do not seem to be inheriting the master page content, please check in outline view that you have the master page associated with the content through their context menu-> master pages.

I created a website using Muse. Whenever I try to download the website through Muse, the download breaks down. The active folder contains many large pdf files, so I think it's part of the problem. I was able to download the pdf of wholesale for Muse site using FileZilla. So my question is: How can I download necessary files created with Muse (html, scripts, etc...) using FileZilla? Any help would be appreciated.

Please use the export HTML option in Muse and then try to download hosting server using filezilla.

You can find this option in file > export as HTML.
