  Service Pack 1 is a prerequisite for installing Service Pack 2. It could be the Service Pack 2 for some other day.

  I accidentally pressed the download button when I was looking at an app and have downloaded and it is now sitting in My World of App World section. It says "Ready to install", but I can't install it because I did not download it. How can I delete this file? When I've highlight it and click on the BlackBerry button, I do not get an option to remove this file - only help, show the memory bar, Log In, install, Application Switch and close. RIM forgot to add an option to remove? Is the only way to get rid of this file is now to insall and uninstall it?

  I don't think so. I think that as soon as you start the sequence to download/install you must perform in order and then uninstall the application. Because it is stuck and don't install it do not in all cases, there is really no wrong save for this be listed this way in your MyWorld. But, you could click and complete the installation, and then follow the normal instructions to uninstall I guess.

• Windows Update will download but not install. However, stand-alone updates will install fine.

  Download updates very well, but after that, they fail to install immediately. It seems to go so fast that he does not even try to install downloaded updates. I did everyting for repair/upgrade to update / save the components associated with the windows updates and microsoft Setup. I also deleted the cache update and downloaded fresh copies of the updates, but still no instlal. I even did a repair install on xp at a given time. The machine had a malware infection, but I healed part, including purging the master boot record and wiping the boot sector. I am really puzzled at that time and any direction would be greatly appreciated.

  I'm running Windows 7 x 64. My computer was initially using Vista. Some time ago, I upgraded my Dell XPS M1530 to Windows 7. I use Microsoft Security Essentials. In the last month I was able to download updates of Windows.   Download has been a success, install gets 1/2 way & fails, with error code 0x66A. I can't find this error code in the lists.  Finally, subsequent updates were installed successfully.

  Tried to install Diablo III. Could not. Said (Vista) Operating System to SP2. Check out my features and went to the microsoft Download Center and download the sp2. Click on it to install it... half completed and stopped. Said "installation failed." Tried a stand alone (memory stick) with the same result. Tried all this system... makes tool preparation. restarted, blah blah... Tried all I can think about and suggestions of troubleshooting website... except disabling the Microsoft Security essentials. Can't believe that this would prevent the installation. Help someone

  You do not uninstall OE, it's part of Windows.  You can simply not use and you can make Outlook default under control panel | Internet Options | Programs.

  Before you spend to 8.0.1 no problem in both modes. Add-ons - seem to be intact in both modes.

  Reluctant to delete the dat pluginreg all extensions that work out of Sandbox.

  Sorry for the confusion. Please see this and this. Looks like there issues on and off with the sandbox and Avast is up-to-date and working.
