  I store my images on an external drive.  I have Lightroom on my MacBook Air. I have 40 images in a collection and I would like to copy/duplicate these images on the internal drive of my MB Air so that I can show someone.  How can I do this using Lightroom.  The images in the collection are a large file in the catalog and it would be boringly kludgy to search for the name of each image and use the Mac Finder to copy to the MB Air.

Because when you're dragging to the desktop (or Adobe Bridge) and you enter the InDesign page, the cursor is expected to create a new image, or (if it is on an existing framework), replace the contents of this framework. But the manufacturing process of an anchored object requires the use of the text tool to make a text insertion.

• How can I place image everywhere outside the brochure?

  I am currently engaged in my annual task of designing a booklet from A5 24 pages using folded A4 paper. All internal portrait mode A5 pages (pages 2-23) are monochromatic and have been created in InDesign CS6, while the outer skin of color (pp. 1-24) was designed as a single page A4 landscape in Adobe Illustrator CS6. This allows graphic images to flow seamlessly between the cover and the back cover.

  My normal practice has been to print this book myself, using a for the contents of the color inkjet printer and a printer monochrome laser for all the rest. I print directly starting from Illustrator for the outer double staggered and use InDesign "print booklet" for all internal pages.

  This year, I seriously think the brochure produced by a printer, who would use a printer laser color for the entire booklet. So, I want to merge the Illustrator illustration in my Indesign file so that I can generate a single PDF file for sending to the printer.

  I guess there is a simple way to import the artwork into InDesign, but so far I could not find a way to put a file on several pages 1 and 24. Any help would be appreciated.

  Place and position as you want on page 1 (leaving the full frame), and then copy and paste in place on page 24. Harvest to the spine on both pages.

  OR

  Shuffle off page 1 spread, then do slide page 24 up next in the Pages panel and place the art at once. If you do this, I would move the last page back in the PDF file after export.

  Photos for Mac has an album "Recently deleted" instead of a trash can.

  You can see the "Recently deleted" album in the sidebar, if it contains pictures that can be recovered. The name of this album will be differnet in French, but the icon should be the same.

  Select any photo you want to recover from this album, and then click on the "Recover" button

  

  To bring up the sidebar with the albums, if it is not displayed, enter the ⌥⌘S key combination.

  When you insert the DVD in your DVD player... close
  all the windows that can open and then go to... Start /.
  Computer... right click the icon for the DVD player
  is in, and then select or open Explorer.

  The files you need from the DVD are the. VOB files.
  You will find them in the VIDEO_TS folder. Copy them
  in a folder on your hard drive. Or you can copy the
  full VIDEO_TS folder.

  First... just try to rename one of the. VOB files to
  . MPG or. AVI and see if it will matter in Movie Maker.
  If import works... drag the file to the timeline and
  Economy/publication it to .wmv or .avi format. Then...
  Re - import new video film for editing purposes.
  (if you have Vista Home Premium or Ultimate, you)
  may be able to import the VOB files in Movie Maker
  as they are)

  (FWIW... you can probably play the files renamed
  in Windows Media Player to be sure that VOB
  file to edit)

  If you are unable to import the files they need to be converted
  another .wmv format would be a good choice.
