How can I find my users folder?
Where should I go in my Mac to find the folder of my users? I have to place a folder in there.
Thank you.
In the Finder, navigate to users. Home/users/Documents might be a better choice, at least for everything you do to specify users.

How can I find what user database has the ROLES
Hello
Are there any request for assistance that I can find which database user has what role assinged?
Any help would be grateful.Yes column BENEFICIARY can be the database user name, but also a role name and you can rewrite this query in the form:
select grantee as username, granted_role as role from dba_role_privs, dba_users where grantee = username order by grantee
But as already said, the best script is http://www.petefinnigan.com/find_all_privs.sql because he will take care of the roles granted to other roles.

How can I find the spam folder?
Firefox blocks certain e-mails. Assume as spam or other designatiion.
Hello, firefox is a browser and does not handle your emails. in case you use thunderbird as a mail client and you have a question about this, please say so, then we will go to your question in the queue of thunderbird.
If you access your email via webmail, please contact your e-mail provider to help you... -
Until today, I could access my SENT, TRASH, SPAM, folders etc. from a list on the left side of my screen or by clicking the "inbox" tab icon in the corner of the very top left of my screen of Thunderbird. (The little envelope with the green arrow pointing to the top immediately followed by "Inbox"). Now, it is totally insensitive.
I click on View/Toolbars/and all four are verified - Mail toolbar, the menu bar, status bar, the quick filter bar
I click Show folders / and 'All' is checked.
I am desperate... If I lose messages sent, I will have lost tons of work for my nonprofit. I have Thunderbird for years and years and NEVER had anything like that happen. I can sent you screen caps,... whatever it is, but please help me find this info.
Thanks in advance for your help.
When I closed all open tabs and then clicking on the remaining "Inbox" tab, the drop-down list contained the choice "Close other tabs"... but it is grayed out.
I have solved my problem, but goes to the computer of a friend with Thunderbird and then study its configurations and could still access my Envoy, trash and spam folders just by dragging the left edge of the Thunderbird "inbox" to the right, revealing the other folders in the control panel. (Curiously, with email from Thunderbird to my friend, under display/layout (from the menu bar), there is an option to check the 'folders pane", but who was Ghost out before I dragged the left edge of my Thunderbird to reveal this part of the file.
Thank you for your help.

How can I find out which folder a (search engine) type bookmark is stored in?
Hello:
When I use the search engine in the Bookmarks tab, I sometimes look like a channel known in a bookmark. When a particular bookmark appears in the main window below the search line, however, there is no way of knowing what file it came from. It is a problem when, for example, are several occurrences of a bookmark and should only be left in a logical place (which, again, cannot be determined).
I would like to see the waterfall of folder/subfolder for each selected bookmark found through search.
Is there a way around this problem?
An add-on maybe?Any help will be welcome.
Thank you very much
MarekGiven that you want to examine several bookmarks you want to use the "Show Parent Folder" extension, which uses the library list. The only thing wrong with that is that you cannot sort on the Parent folder, but at least you can tell if bookmarks are in the appropriate folder.
However, I recommend that you install all three extensions.
To use the 'Jump to Parent Folder', you would right click on the bookmark in the sidebar which, like 'Manage folders', is only good for reviewing a bookmark at a time.
I have attached pictures before, but not let me do it now.

I use structured system subfolder to keep my organized emails (hundreds and hundreds of folders).
When I do a search, get the list of results and in this list, I found the email I was after, HOW can I find the message? In other words, how can I open the folder that contains this particular email?
Thank you in advance for your time and effort.Right click on a folder, search for Messages, and then click 'Search subfolders', then enter the selection criteria, search, search for a result in the lower pane, then 'open folder '. The message is opened in the Message pane and the containing folder is highlighted in the folders pane.
It isn't a global search and location does not show the full folder path, but it is another option. Note that the location column can also be displayed in the message search window.

You try to remove Folders.dbx? In Windows XP, the files of user OE (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View. The path to the message will be very similar to this:C:\Documents and Settings\Your User of utilisateur\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\ {long string of letters & numbers} \Microsoft\Outlook ExpressWith OE closed, find the Folders.dbx file and delete it. Another will be created automatically when you open OE.Note these possible side effects:When you re - start OE, it will build a new index of all *.dbx files it can read and create a new Folders.dbx. However, understand that you will lose the mail directory structure and message rules will probably have to be edited. -

There are two ways to compress files in windows. Zip files and built-in file compression. It's built-in file compression. For more information on compression type zip in Start - Help and Support .
Photos, music and video are already compressed. They can get larger if Windows tries to compress it any further. Also usually a bad idea to compress system files.
If you have files of worksheet they can very well be compressed. If you have files, installation files, they can also be good candidates. Web pages are also good candidates.
In Windows Explorer, blue file names means Tablet (it is the file system compression not aka zip files compressed files). Green filename means Encrypted.
To disable file names colored, in Explorer - Tools menu (Alt + T)- display tab and then clear the check box for Show encrypted or compressed NTFS in color .
Windows compression, encryption and security to work for the most part by applying attributes to a folder and the files in the folder inherit the folder.
If you have all the files appropriate for compression, find them in solution, made Explorer right click - Properties - general -Advanced button tab - Compress contents to save disk space. Choose to apply to all files and folders when asked.
