How can I get hardware reset a XT1039

Hi people,

I am at a loss. I think I have tried everything I found on the net and looked in the forums.

The problem is that I lost access to my phone. There is an access of reason that I don't remember, but there is nothing there that I care, so I wanted to perform a complete reset - I don't like how.

I followed various guides for the different models of bike G, but I think this one should be OK:

http://www.hardreset.info/devices/Motorola/Motorola-xt1039-Moto-g-LTE/

I can access the menu and choose recovery, but I always find myself with an Android robot and the text "geen Eindverslag", which translated means "no job" or "unemployed".

I tried to download the software of Motorola to my PC and thought when it is in its start menu, that I could use the software to reflash the stock firmware but it exits saying there are no updates available. I can't find other software.

Please help me out here.

Thanks in advance!

First things... There is no software to download and no kind of recovery tool. The only way to reset is via phone - no way to flash firmware, so do follow all links that discuss or you may void your warranty.

I need to confirm, but the G4 reset should be like the G3 - have you seen this link?

https://Motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/answers/prod_answer_detail/A_ID/105537/p/30, 6 720 939...

Step 4 is the key and it is not really intuitive.

    Hello Ghostdogaln.

How do hang you the controller?  You must either use a * wired * controller, or use a wireless controller with receiver game Xbox 360 for Windows.

If you use a wireless with a Play and Charge kit controller, it will not work as long as the USB cord only actually plug into the battery for the controller itself. they do it for a nominal cost of $

also ask them if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive to get back to the way you bought

you would normally press F8, F9, F10 or F11 or Alt + F10 or 0 to start to start the recovery process according to the manufacturer

Ask them of the exact key sequence

You can disable hibernation if it is enabled and you do not...

When you Hibernate your computer, Windows saves the contents of the system memory in the hiberfil.sys file. As a result, the size of the hiberfil.sys file will always be equal to the amount of physical memory in your system. If you don't use the Hibernate feature and want to reclaim the space used by Windows for the hiberfil.sys file, perform the following steps:

-Start the Control Panel Power Options applet (go to start, settings, Control Panel, and then click Power Options).
-Select the Hibernate tab, uncheck "Activate the hibernation", and then click OK. Although you might think otherwise, selecting never under "Hibernate" option on the power management tab does not delete the hiberfil.sys file.
-Windows remove the "Hibernate" option on the power management tab and delete the hiberfil.sys file.

You can control the amount of space your system restore can use...

    1. Click Start, right click my computer and then click Properties.
    2. click on the System Restore tab.
    3. highlight one of your readers (or C: If you only) and click on the button "settings".
4 change the percentage of disk space you want to allow... I suggest moving the slider until you have about 1 GB (1024 MB or close to that...)
    5. click on OK. Then click OK again.

You can control the amount of space used may or may not temporary Internet files...

Empty the temporary Internet files and reduce the size, that it stores a size between 64 MB and 128 MB...

-Open a copy of Microsoft Internet Explorer.
    -Select TOOLS - Internet Options.
-On the general tab in the section 'Temporary Internet files', follow these steps:
-Click on 'Delete the Cookies' (click OK)
-Click on "Settings" and change the "amount of disk space to use: ' something between 64 MB and 128 MB. (There may be many more now.)
    -Click OK.
-Click on 'Delete files', then select "Delete all offline content" (the box), and then click OK. (If you had a LOT, it can take 2 to 10 minutes or more).
-Once it's done, click OK, close Internet Explorer, open Internet Explorer.
