How can I get rid of the vertical column on the left that appears every time?  I want to just print something without having to close this window and select "playback mode".

All solutions?

Hi bigpops530,

You are using Acrobat Reader DC and referring to the tool palette on the right side of the window (or the Navigation pane on the left)? The hotkeys to show/hide these are SHIFT + F4 and F4, respectively. And even if the Navigation pane will remain hidden for one doc to another, the tool pane can be hidden permanently at this time.

Best,

Sara
