How can I group objects without changing their stacking order?

Hello world!

I have large complex illustration with many objects and when I the Group down and higher objects the object background goes back and the appearance of the artwork changes. I think it is very stupid!

Thank you very much!

Very bad! I have worked with Maya... I looked at Corel Draw, the same as in Illustrator! Ha-ha-ha!

Fine,

"Ha ha ha" indeed. You are comparing apples and oranges.

Of course of consolidation in a modelling program 3D does not work as it does in the 2D drawing programs. There is no order "stacking z"; each object has its own XYZ position in the global coordinate system. Since their debut in the middle of the 1980s, a group the general public focused on printing 2D vector drawing programs is by definition a set of contiguous objects in the stack of objects. It's for a good reason, having to do with, among other things, the order of rendering of live effects.

Noncontiguous reunification is possible in some 2D programs. For practical reasons, the same thing exists as selections of saved from Illustrator.

See the online help.
