How can I stop error 0x0000007E (0xc0000005, 0x8ef5ac0d, 0x8b357bf8, 0x8b357f4) code

Here's the story:

My cell phone is not responding, so I stop and restart. Then when I enter my user account, it is empty, no icon on the desktop no taskbar, only the slider that appears. I'm frustrated and don't know what to do. Since my laptop already has a few problems (it's a bit slow) so I decided to use the system recovery and restore the "factory shipped condition."

Then I install any program that was previously in my laptop (firefox, software adobe reader, media player, flash player, player virtual clone, Utorrent, VLC player, WinRar, Internet Download Manager, Spyware doctor and NoAdware classic). But when I plug my laptop modem, I got a blue screen, and I am one of the software is not compatible with my modem. So I use the recovery system once more and intend to try the software one by one. I plug the modem first. then I got blue screen. So I try to uninstall norton internet security (he was there from the beginning) and try to connect the modem. He works so I thought that norton is the cause but I'm always worried, so I try the software one. Install software on my external hard drive, plug the hard drive, try plugging the modem, taken on the modem and try reinstalling other software). Until the latest software has been installed, there is no problem. Then I plug the external hard drive after installing the latest software and updated online using the modem (to open hotmail and send my homework) then I plug in the modem and plug my external hard drive to watch videos. Then, I suddenly remember to download something. So I plug the drive hard on and plug in the modem. Then I got a blue screen with this error:

Stop: 0x00000007E (0XC0000005, 0X8EF5AC0D, 0X8b357BF8, 0X8B357F4)

CDROM.sys: address 8F555C0D base at 8F14C000, stamp base 47918f7e

Then I try to restart the laptop and try to connect the modem, but I got a blue screen with the same error code

What should I do?
How can I stop it?

It would be helpful if someone can solve this
Thanks :)

* Sorry for my bad English *.

Hi Patrick,

I suggest you follow the given method and check if it helps.

Method 1: Update your modem firmware.

You can check with the manufacturer or contact the Internet service provider to update your firmware.

Method 2: Alternatively, you can try to install service Pack 2 on your computer.

Please follow the link below to install the Service Pack 2;

    HOW DI I STOP 0X0000007E 0XC0000005, 0X8A27FB97, 0X859C1BA8, AND 0X859C18A4 ERROR CODE OCCUR?

    Hello

This error is usually a driver problem and display adapter (video) driver is the most suspicious if she
may be others. Antivirus/antispyware/security programs, equipment (heat) and major software problems
can also cause the error. When you get to the section of the driver to use the Troubleshoot utility my generic
methods in the next message and then return to the if necessary troubleshooting tool.

Have you recently added hardware or drivers updated? Don't forget to look in Control Panel - Windows
Updates to see if all drivers have been updated it. Other donor opportunities include the antivirus/anti-
    spyware/security programs.

When you get to the pilot and sections of the memory of the troubleshooter check the following message to
update drivers and memory test and then return to the troubleshooter if necessary.

    BCCode: 7F 0x0000007E

    Cause

SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED bug control is a very common bug control. To interpret it, you must identify which exception has been generated.

    Common exception codes are:

    • 0xc0000005: STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION indicates a memory access violation has occurred.

For a complete list of exception codes, see the Ntstatus.h file located in the directory Inc. of the Microsoft Windows Driver Kit (WDK).

    Solve the problem

If you do not have to debug this problem, you must use certain basic troubleshooting techniques.

    • Make sure you have enough disk space.
    • If a driver is identified in the bug check message, disable the driver or check with the manufacturer for driver updates.
    • Try changing video cards.
    • Check with your hardware vendor for updates to the BIOS.
    • Disable the BIOS memory options such as implementing caching or shading.

If you plan to debug this problem, you may find it difficult to get a stack trace. Parameter 2 (the address of the exception) should identify the driver or function that caused the problem.

If exception code 0 x 80000003 occurs, a hard-coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but the system was launched with the /nodebug. switch. This problem should occur infrequently. If it occurs repeatedly, make sure that a kernel debugger is connected and the system is booted with the Switch/DEBUG .

In case of exception code 0 x 80000002, the trap frame provides additional information.

If you do not know the specific cause of the exception, consider the following questions:

    • Hardware incompatibility. Ensure that any new hardware that is installed is listed in the list of the products tested Microsoft Windows market.
    • Service driver or defective peripheral system. A chauffeur service or defective peripheral system could be responsible for this error. The hardware problems, such as BIOS incompatibilities, conflicts of memory and IRQ conflicts can also generate this error.

If a driver is listed by name in the bug check message, disable or remove that driver. Disable or remove drivers or services that have been recently added. If the error occurs during the startup sequence and the system partition is formatted with the NTFS file system, you may be able to use Safe Mode to rename or to delete the faulty driver. If the driver is used as part of the start-up procedure of the system Safe Mode, you must start the computer by using the Recovery Console to access the file.

If the problem is associated with Win32k.sys, the source of the error may be a third-party remote control program. If this software is installed, you can remove the service by starting the computer by using the recovery and then Console by removing the offending system service file.

Check the system log in Event Viewer for additional error messages that might help identify the device or driver responsible for control of bug 0x7E.

You can also disable memory cache BIOS may try to resolve the error. You must also run the diagnostics of material, especially the scanner memory, which provides the manufacturer of the system. For more information about these procedures, see the manual of your computer.

The error that generates this message may occur after the first reboot during Windows Setup, or after installation is complete. A possible cause of the error is lack of disk space for installation and the system BIOS incompatibilities. For any problems during the installation of Windows that are associated with lack of disk space, reduce the number of files on the hard disk drive target. Search and delete temporary files that you do not have to have, files hidden Internet, application backup files and files saved .chk , which contain fragments of files on disk scans. You can also use an another hard disk drive with more free space for the installation. You can solve the problems of BIOS by upgrading the version of the system BIOS.

Here's a suggestion on how to do a 'clean ': install
    [quote]
For testing purposes, it is best to install Windows "clean".
It is, basically, install the way that Microsoft intended (with the drivers from Windows Update).
This procedure is for Windows 7, Vista is similar (but has 2 service packs)

You will need your installation/recovery DVD (s) before you start.  Once you wipe the hard drive, there is no going back!

1 back up all your data.
It will wipe everything off of your hard drive, so what you want to keep should be backed up elsewhere.

NOTE: If this is due to an infection, remember to analyze the data with current antivirus to another system to locate and remove malware.

    2. connect the system to the internet (if the system shows then disconnect from the Internet, do).

    3. use one of these free utilities to wipe the hard drive:
    DBAN ( http://www.dban.org/download )
    KillDisk ( http://www.killdisk.com/downloadfree.htm ).
This will also remove the system recovery partitions - so the installation/restore DVD is essential!

4 install Windows by booting from the installation/recovery DVD - DO NOT change any settings!

5 visit Windows Update and get all updates

    6. check device for all unknown/disabled devices Manager - if there are unknown disabled devices, secure them with the latest drivers from the website of the manufacturer of the device (not the PC manufacturer)

7 visit Windows Update and download the Service Pack 1 (normally under important updates).  Read these notes for installing SP1: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2505743

8 visit Windows Update and get any other available updates

9 download, install and update a free antivirus, so it does not get infected during the test ( http://www.carrona.org/freeav.html ).

If problems persist, then the problem is probably with your hardware.

Warning: If you have an Asus motherboard, check the date on the file C:\Windows\System32\driver\ASACPI.sys.  2004/2005 is a problem, 2009,2010 is OK.  Updates are available on the Web from Asus site.

Warning: If you have a Sony system, make sure that you do NOT have the 2007 version (or earlier) Extension of Firmware of Sony Analyzer (SFEP.sys).  To update this driver immediately!

    Hi Tricsim,

Since when are you facing this problem?

There could be several causes for this problem; I suggest you try the following steps to correct the problem:

Method 1: Auditor of file system (CFS) scan to fix all of the corrupted system files. To do this, follow the steps mentioned in the link below:

How to use the System File Checker tool to fix the system files missing or corrupted on Windows Vista or Windows 7

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833

Method 2: Put the computer to boot and then check if the problem persists

Follow step 1 in the link below,
How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

If everything works well after a clean boot, you can deduce that some third-party services are at the origin of the problem.

Continue with the remaining steps to pin-point on the third party service.
After find you the program that is causing the problem, you will have to perhaps to update or install a newer version of the program, if you rarely use that you should consider uninstalling the software.

Important: n ' forget not to put the computer to a normal startup follow step 7 in the link.

Method 3: You can follow the steps described in the article below

Error message when you log on to Windows Vista: "Windows Explorer has stopped working".

    Hi JasonDavies,

  • Blue Screen of Death. STOP error 0x0000007E + things I've tried.

A bit of history. I run a MSI 890XM-G65 and the installation manual can be found at http://www.msi.com/service/
I use a Radeon HD 6870 graphics card.
    A SATA HARD DRIVE.

So. Since I got the BSOD (the o death blu screen), these are the steps I've tried:
I started pressing F8 and tried to start a repair. BSOD appears.
I started pressing F8 and tried "Run with the last configuration that worked", same thing.
I changed my boot on CD/DVD in BIOS and tried from my Windows install disc, BSOD appears.
I tried to delete my graphics (Radeon) card and attached monitor to the on-board, BSOD arises.
I tried to use one of my RAM sticks GSKILL (two, distinct moments by themselves) and tried in different locations. I also borrow a new KINGSTON DDR3 ram friends and tried is separately, BSOD appears at reboot.

I also went through the manual to make sure that all power cords are plugged in etc.

    Hello

References to Vista also apply to Windows 7.

It's my generic how updates of appropriate driver: (look for the BIOS and driver
    updates.)

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on
your system. For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed:
load address of the driver, description, version, name of the product, the company that
    created the pilot and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit system Maker as replacements and manufacturer device which are the
most up-to-date. Control Panel - Device Manager - Display Adapter - write it down
and complete the model of your video - double click - tab of the driver card-
Note the version information. Now click on UPdate Driver (this can do nothing
that MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT it
    will update the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard
If there are 3rd party with their own software and drivers and the other main device drivers
    you have.

Now, go to the site of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restore)
and site (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get the manufacturer and device
their latest versions. (Look for the system to update the BIOS, Chipset and software updates
    Site of the manufacturer here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN -.
    REBOOT after each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you are
installation actually appears. This is because that some rollback of drivers before the
later is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so to install a driver - restart
-check that it is installed and try again if necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW to the device makers DO NOT RUN THEIR
SCANNER - check manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.
    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/HT/driverdlmfgr.htm

Installation and update of drivers under Windows 7 (updated drivers manually using
the above methods is preferable to ensure the latest drivers from the manufacturer of system
    and device manufacturers are located)
    http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/43216-installing-updating-drivers-7-a.html

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable driver facilities
in the updates of Windows, which leaves on Windows updates, but it will not be installed
pilots who are generally older and cause problems. If updates provides a new
driver then hide it (right click on it) and then go get new ones manually if
    you want.

CHKDSK turned on somehow and now every time I start my Pc it runs this program.  It is on my hard drive and takes a long time to startup!  How can I stop the program from running at startup?

The next time your system starts and installs, you should check the bit of impurity of the volume as follows:

Click Start, run and enter in the box:

    cmd

Click OK to open the command prompt window.

To query the bit of impurity on drive C, type:

    fsutil dirty query C:

    The sample output:
    Volume c is dirty
    Volume C: is dirty

Type "exit" to close the command prompt window.

Is your disc dirty or it is not dirty?    If you have more than one volume, check all out them.

A volume is marked usually dirty of a power outage or something like using the power button to restart the system.  One of this kind of thing has happened before this problem?

The command chkntfs /d to clear a chkdsk waiting you plan yourself, but it does not clear the dirty bit.

The command chkntfs /X C: never say XP check the reader for inconsistencies again and perhaps not a good idea since the reader may really need that chkdsk to run on it.  If the dirty bit is just NOT clear, no matter what you do, your HARD disk may be failing / failed.

The only way to clear the dirty bit is a success of chkdsk /r and if she will not clear at the start of your system, I would run it from the XP Recovery Console so you can watch it run and if you like, run it again until it runs its own.  You cannot check the good bit of impurity of the XP Recovery Console, but you can see what chkdsk/r.

Since we don't know anything about your system, here are some instructions for making a CD of bootable XP Recovery Console and from there, you can run chkdsk/r until it comes clean.

Boot into the Recovery Console Windows using an XP bootable installation CD.

If you have no XP bootable media (or aren't sure you have) create a bootable XP Recovery CD of Console and do not forget.

This is not the same as recovery disks that might have come with the acquisition of the system store.

You can make a bootable Recovery Console CD by downloading an ISO file and burn it to a CD.

The ISO bootable image file you need to download is called:

    xp_rec_con. ISO

    Download the ISO from here:

    http://www.mediafire.com/?ueyyzfymmig

Use a new CD and this simple and free program to burn your ISO file and create your bootable CD:

    http://www.ImgBurn.com/

When you install ImgBurn, DO NOT install the Ask toolbar.

Here are some instructions for ImgBurn:

    http://Forum.ImgBurn.com/index.php?showtopic=61

It would be a good idea to test your bootable CD on a computer running.

You may need to adjust the computer BIOS settings to use the CD-ROM drive as the first device to boot instead of the hard drive.  These adjustments are made before Windows tries to load.  If you miss it, you will need to restart the system again.

When you start on the CD, follow the instructions:

Press any key to boot from CD...

    Installing Windows... going to pronounce.

Press 'R' to enter the Recovery Console.

Select the installation that you want to access (usually 1: C:\WINDOWS)

You may be asked to enter the password (usually empty).

You should be in the folder C:\WINDOWS.  It's the same as the

C:\Windows folder that you see in Solution Explorer.

The Recovery Console allows base as file commands: copy, rename, replace, delete, chkdsk, fixboot, fixmbr, cd, etc.

For a list of the commands in the Recovery Console, type help at the prompt of commands or read on here XP Recovery Console:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/resources/documentation/Windows/XP/all/proddocs/en-us/recovery_console_cmds.mspx?mfr=true

A good idea before you start things must first verify the integrity of your file system by using the chkdsk command.

In the command prompt window, run the chkdsk command on the drive where Windows is installed to try to fix any problems on the afflicted player.

Running chkdsk is fine, even if he finds no problem.  It won't hurt anything to run it.

Assuming your boot drive is C, run the following command:

    CHKDSK C: /r

Let chkdsk finish to correct the problems, he could find.

It may take a long time for chkdsk complete or they seem to be "stuck".  Be patient.  If the HARD drive led blinks always, chkdsk is something.  Keep an eye on the amount of the percentage to be sure that it is still making progress.  It may even seem to go back sometime.

You must run chkdsk/r again until it finds no error to correct.

Remove the CD, and then type "exit" to exit the RC and restart the computer.

You have not to set the BIOS to boot the disk HARD since the CD won't be.
