My computor starts by itself. How can I stop this from happening
I usually start my computor in the morning and turn it off at about 21:30. During the night, it starts by itself. How can I stop this from happening
Hello
Check your BIOS settings, looks like you have a setting for it to wake up at a specific time.
It usually takes to press one of the FUNCTION keys to enter the BIOS screen
I think F2 or F4.
If you do not know how to change the BIOS settings are asking in a computer store is they don't
for you change it or show on another computer how to do this. You may know someone who knows a lot about computers so they can watch it for you?

Receive vc system tray restart error message. How can I stop this on my laptop?
Hello
Get VCSystem plateau is restarting error message. How can I stop this on my laptop? My laptop model number is
VPCEB4AFX.
Hi nagk98,
I'm sorry to hear that you are having problems with your laptop. The plateau of VCSystem is a process used by the VAIO Care program. To solve this problem is that you need to upgrade your VAIO Care program. You can uninstall and re install the program if VAIO update fails. You can check this link for more information on the VAIO update utility. I hope this helps.
Thank you!

Since the update to El Capitan, during the scrolling of the screen guard snapping back to the top of the Web page. How can I stop this?
Please read this message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It is unlikely to solve your problem. Don't be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The test is intended to determine if the problem is caused by a third-party software that loads automatically at startup or logon, by a device, by a police conflict or corruption of system files or some system caches.
Disconnect all devices wired except those required to test and remove all the expansion cards from secondary market, as appropriate. Start in safe mode and log on to the account of the problem.
Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or an earlier version, or if a firmware password is defined, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can not do this. Ask for additional instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run as normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things work at all, including an audio output and a Wi - Fi connection on some models. The next normal boot can also be a bit slow.
The login screen is displayed even if you usually connect automatically. You need your password to log on. If you have forgotten the password, you will have to reset it before you begin.
Test in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and make sure you always have the problem. View the results of the test.

When I open a link that opens a new Firefox window, it opens 2 tabs instead of one. A tab is the link that I opened and the second tab is just a generic Mozilla tab with links to 12 pages like Facebook, Youtube, etc. This tab opens on top too, so I always have to close to get what I'm looking for. How can I stop this from happening?
Hello. Thanks for all the posts on this topic. I have the same problem, as described by the op. But, while I use Avast, I have NOT the add-on from Astromenda which has been mentioned. However, I have the SB installed toolbar, and it has been recently updated, 29/12. I suspect that it is the culprit, if this problem is in fact not caused by an update of Firefox (my tiles have recently been reset on new tabs, and I suspect that Firefox for this problem).
I am ready to remove the toolbar from the SB, but prefer to keep it (Yes, I admit I'm stupid) If this annoying 'new window = 2 tabs with 'new tab' at the top' would just leave.
Apart from the removal of the toolbar SB... does anyone have suggestions? I don't see that all recently added add-ons/extensions that I don't recognize, apart from the update of the toolbar of SB.
Updated: 5 minutes after this announcement, I disabled the toolbar of SB and restarted Firefox. No change.

How can I stop the boot record guaranteed Tempro message?
Whenever I start my Toshiba Satellite computer, a dialog box with the message "reminder to register Toshiba Notebook has stopped working, Windows is checking for a solution" is displayed. No solution never appears.
I looked at the status of the guarantee on TEMPRO, where it is said that I had not yet registered to the standard warranty.
OK, well I thought I had, but maybe I forgot or do not materialize. So I clicked on save, entered my details and found that in fact I HAD recorded, about a week after I bought the computer (as I thought).
If the registration reminder program should not be run! It's really annoying for this next screen, especially since I tend to shut my computer down when I'm not using it so got to encouter this most of the time I start using it.
And for some reason any the TEMPRO software did not record that I registered. How can I stop this?
Hello
Either it's something wrong with the installed Tempro tool or tool didn t notice that you are already registered for the guarantee.
So first of all I recommend reinstalling the Tempro and upgrade to the latest version available. You can find the latest here on this page of Toshiba Tempro:
http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/innovation/generic/TEMPRO_W7_RELEASE/If this is not enough, you could disable the Tempro in msconfig (enter RUN msconfig). In the Startup tab, you will find an entry tempro which you can uncheck. Save the changes and restart the device.
This will help you get rid of this message.
Welcome them

Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of your modules is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Modules > themes).
See the extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common troubleshooting Firefox problems and troubleshooting questions with plugins like Flash or Java to solve common Firefox problemsIf this does not work in safe mode and then disable all your extensions and then try to find out who is causing by allowing both the problem reappears.
You can use 'Disable all add-ons' on the start safe mode window.
You will need to close and restart Firefox after each change through "file > exit" (on Mac: "Firefox > Quit") -

emails are sent to all the addresses in my address book, seek. How can I stop. Yahoo SBCglobal account
Hello
Check with the help of your e-mail account, because they can also help if the emails are actually
sending your account which is actually probably not. More likely, the spammers have
a copy of your contacts or a copy of an email sent to these contacts.Proceed to a very thorough check for malware and then change your password by e-mail.
It is possible for a person to send the email that 'seems' to be of your
account but that is not really - called "Spoofing." That means its 'Possible' emails
were not really you, although they may have your contact list. Have someone

If you need search malware here's my recommendations - they will allow you to
scrutiny and the withdrawal without ending up with a load of spyware programs running
resident who can cause as many questions as the malware and may be more difficult to detect as the
cause. No one program cannot be used to detect and remove any malware. Added that often easy
