    I have a Web site; www.designed4submariners.com. on several pages, I created links to images that are found in a download folder. Whenever I click on one of these links on the current site (using Firefox as browser), a dialog box appears to ask: do the Firefox with this file? I can't tell Firefox to open all similar files using Firefox. How can I solve this problem because I have to go through the same process every time that I try to open one of these links.

  • Firefox 3 displays spaces in the html text. Firefox 7 collapses adjacent spaces. How can I tell Firefox to display main and adjacent areas?

    I have my set Favorites in a HTML file that is my home page. These bookmarks are categorized. This is how they would be displayed in Firefox 3...

    Category

        Bookmark 1
        Bookmark 2

    This is how they appear in Firefox 7...

    Category
    Bookmark 1
    Bookmark2

    How can I make Firefox 7 show the leading spaces?

    You must add the CSS code to restore the indentation used in the previous version of Firefox.

    Firefox 4 and then treat the DT element differently and that causes a weird CSS rule (dl > dl) not applied.

    • Resource://GRE-resources/quirk.CSS on line 220

    Use it in Firefox 4 and later versions:

    <style>
    dl > dt > dl { display: block; -moz-margin-start: 40px; }
    </style>

    Hi Mike,.

    You want to visit the websites you have already visited in the address bar without having to type the full web address?

    You can check the start-up or enable Auto complete feature in Internet Explorer 10. To do this, follow the steps below:

    (a) open Internet Explorer, go to Tools and select Internet options.

    (b) in the Internet Options screen, click on the Content tab and click the Settings button in the AutoComplete section.

    (c) for the AutoComplete settings screen, make sure the address bar option is checked and all the other options you want to use.

  • How can I stop Firefox from blocking a Java applet on a website that I trust?

    I'm trying to run an application that displays the competing routes during an orienteering event. My problem is that Firefox is blocking the Java applet. I get a window saying "blocked by security settings Application. Your security settings have blocked an app to run with a precarious jre or has expired. »

    I tried to look at the Firefox Help on "How to enable Java if it's been blocked", but it does not help. He's talking about by clicking on the Red plugin icon in the address bar, but it is not a plugin red icon in the address bar.

    The application is www.epoc.routegadget.co.uk. It worked when I used it last Sunday.

    Help, please!

    Hello, this warning does not firefox but the java plugin itself - please update your plugins.

  • How can I stop Firefox opening iTunes or ask me which application I want to use for the links from the itms/itmss?

    When I opened iTunes App Store link, Firefox wants to automatically open iTunes. In Options > Applications, I found the itms and itmss content types, which causes this behavior. I can change "always ask them", but when I do, I get a automatic every time I open the link asking me to choose between "iTunes" or "Choosing an Application." To avoid future pop ups, I check "Remember my choice for itmss links" but only after selecting iTunes or another application. There should be a third option there for 'doing nothing '. Is it possible to tell Firefox to ignore completely the content of the itms/itmss?

    Is there some prefs the protocol handler if you are looking for the topic: config page?

    • Network.protocol - handler.

    You just solved my problem - there is no Network.protocol - handler.external. itms or itmss prefs, so I added the Boolean values:

    Network.protocol - handler.external.itms
    Network.protocol - handler.external.itmss

    Set to false and voila! No iTunes, don't ask me what program to use.
