How disable gray contextual information window when I move my mouse over action points?

There are gray this box information displayed when my mouse pointer over almost anything if I am on the web or in outlook. For example, on this web page if I hover over the "find answers" a small box appears which says "find existing answers. If not, you can ask a question. If I'm in outlook and stationary on a header of e-mail in my Inbox, it will display the box and it gives me more information about the e-mail. I asked our tech to work guy and checked the other computers at work, which are also equipped with Windows 7 and some of them do, but some do not. It is very annoying and I can't find out how to turn it off. Please someone help me. It's probably something simple, but I can't.

See if it's what you're looking for,

    Jonjo900,

It seems to me that you're referring to press the mouse wheel. It is a function of your mouse wheel. To turn it off, simply press the wheel again and it disables the option.

    Hope this helps

  • How to make small text boxes should appear when I move my mouse over a thumbnail on my site?

    Hello!

Sorry seems stupid, but I don't even know what we call them - the small coliade boxes containing text information that appear when you hover your mouse over a text or an image? Well, I want to make them appear in the thumbnails of my portfolio online (with the work of caricature), but do not know how to proceed. I tried to use Alt texts, but they do not appear in Firefox or Explorer... Is there another way that I'm missing?

Thank you very much in advance for all advice :-)

  • with the auto more recent updated version of firefox now there is a white bar that appears when you move your mouse over this area. I want that gone, how?

When you move your mouse below the address bar opens a white bar, making it so you can't click on buttons or links on sites, like buttons connection for example. also when using the full screen, you can no more mouse on the tabs at the top of the screen, only this white bar appears. This prtty much kills its use full screen for me. Thus, this white popup bar and mode full screen with the white bar without tabs firefox has pretty much ruined it for me. in any case to fix it would be great.

  • Why the Date is always shown when I move my mouse over the clock in the taskbar? Most of the time, it works very well!

Why does the Date not always appear when I hover my mouse by the clock in the taskbar on my Tablet? It displays immediately if I click somewhere near where on the clock.

Often it doesn't appear when I go through the clock. Sometimes, it does. I don't know why he sometimes reacts different.

And didn't someone jump in and start accusing malware etc. Just read my profile. That is not the issue and I don't want to be around anyone who wants just the head in this direction from the outset or even at all! Sorry on my intolerance but I think there are far too many people on the forums who dive on the issue of malware when someone asked a Question on how to change their settings to stop something that happens. I'm sick of this lazy malware junk.

This is a bug. All XP do. Clicking the taskbar if it "development works most of the time.

  • How stop list tabs when I move the mouse over the icon in the task bar of Firefox?

After the upgrade to FF6.01 and play a little with the new groups tab feature, now whenever I have pass the mouse on taskbar icon, all tabs are presented separately. I would go back to show only one tab open the Firefox browser.

In the Firefox options and the tabs Panel, see if you see the tab found in the Windows taskbar archived.

  • Immediately on the upgrade to 8 parts of my screen "black out" as I move my mouse over them. Links in particular are blackened (ie the screen block which belongs to the binding) when I move my mouse over them.

In addition, the scroll feature does not; When I try to scroll through most of the time it does not and whether or not he answers for page scrolling whole (all on the tabs in the taskbar) has a better than even chance to blacken. Tinkering with my mouse or clicking in random places pointer to get rid of these.

I restarted the browser safe, reinstalled, the computer restarted, drivers have been updated day is told by the way Friday (before it started), plenty of virus scan on Thursday morning. When I restart Firefox in Mode safe problems aren't as bad by an order of magnitude, but still bad enough to be unusable.

Firefox is essentially unusable for me at this point. I can't downgrade to 7, I'm very close just wash my hands and switch to Chrome (which I don't like).

Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).

Safe mode disables extensions in Firefox 4 and later versions, and disables hardware acceleration.

    • Tools > Options > advanced > General > Browsing: "use hardware acceleration when available.

If disable hardware acceleration works then check if there is an update available for your graphics display driver.

    Hello
I'm using Windows 7, and I could always
go to my taskbar and right click
Icons and active icons, bring to the top
the list on the right click on the standard Menu.

MAKE ONE CLICK RIGHT MENU DISAPPEARS WHEN YOU MOVE YOUR MOUSE TO THE LEFT, CLICK ON A MENU OPTION IN THE RIGHT CLICK MENU.

'YOU can not because WHEN YOU MOVE YOUR MOUSE TO THE MENU YOU JUST a RIGHT CLIC ON OPEN DISAPPEARS before you HAVE a CHANCE TO CLICK LEFT of YOUR CHOICE. "

    SOLUTION
[ 1] GO TO control PANEL AND click HERE FOR the VIEW MENU
[ 2] GO to "EASE of ACCESS CENTER" AT the TOP.
[ 3] LEFT CLICK ON the MENU ITEM "theEASE of ACCESS CENTER.
[ 4] AFTER YOU are a LEFT CLICK ON 'EASE of ACCESS CENTER' seems.
[ 5] LOOK down THE LIST UNTIL YOU FIND to "MAKE THE MOUSE EASIER to USE".
[ 5] THE UPPER SHOWS YOU HOW to CHANGE YOUR MOUSE COLORS ETC.
[ 6] SCROLL DOWN UNTIL YOU SEE THIS TOPIC "MAKE IT EASIER to MANAGE WINDOWS".
[ 7] UNDER this MENU, there is check.
"ACTIVATE a WINDOW BY HOVERING over IT WITH YOUR MOUSE"

[8] ARE OF COURSE IS NOT A CHECK MARK IN THIS BOX TO OPTION, IS THERE A CHECK IT AND APPLY AND CLICK OK TO SAVE.

And now, you should have no more problems with your right click Menu disappears when you move your mouse over the menu left click on a menu item on a right click menu.

  • Windows 8 when I move my mouse in the lower left corner of the upper part of the Bureau of navigation for the start page icon is not displayed

Windows 8 does someone knows how to get the icon to navigate to the start page?  When I move my mouse in the lower left of the Office start page navigation icon does not appear.  All of a sudden it stopped working.

    Hello

May I ask if clicking on the lower left corner always takes you back to the menu back? Or is that the disabled also?
You might want to try this:
    1. Press the Windows key, then type "cmd", right mouse click on command prompt, then click "Run as Administrator". If you are prompted by user account control, just accept.
    2. At the command prompt with admin, type privileges window ' sfc/scannow ' or ' sfc/scannow ' also works. And then press enter.
    3. Wait a few moments so he can analyze the system files, you may need to restart then.

Please let me know if it works. I hope this has helped.
