  You can find a range where it is enabled by get the context menu drop down for the item (right-click if you use Windows).   We use the Hyperion Financial Reporting 9.3.1 & we have 80 reports & 750 users. How will I know where all the reports of users has access. Where can I find this information.   There is no tool of Hyperion to display easily groups and security filters.

  But it really depends on how you set up your security model.

  Normally, you add users into groups and assign these groups to essbase and reports (via the BEEP groups) cubes, so you can check reports have access to correct group and the users are in a good group.

  GUI help you identify the HARD drive where ESXi is installed.

  • Connect the ESXi server via vSphere Client
  • Select Configuration > storage > devices (not Datatores)
  • If you select disk OS installed in the device Info pane, there will be a lot of primary partitions as legacy MBR, diagnosis of VMware, etc..,.
  • If you select other discs, there will be no partition

• XNET alias 'lost' its database. How do you know where to search?

  I have several XNET sessions in my project, but one of them has "lost" the database associated with it. I'm guessing that the database may have been accidentally deleted from our network, but I don't know where on the network, the database has been (or even what it was called). Is it possible to find the location of the database that goes with the xnet/alias session?

  Hi André,.

  Unfortunately once a database has been deleted, there is no way to retrieve a path to it. If you don't find the database yourself, maybe one of your colleagues will have access to it, or you may have to re-create the database. In the future I would recommend that you keep a backup of the entire database if this happens again.

For this we need to know where everything is this used in the repository and webcat session variable (including all logical columns use, which all guests use etc.).   To search for variables used in,

  RPD: Open the RPD-> go to the Tools Menu-> select 'Utilities'-> 'Documentation repository '. This will generate a CSV with associations

  WebCAT: Open the using webcat catalogue Manager-> Tools Menu-> create report - select the desired columns (column Xml include)-> open the rpeort in excel find-> 'Variable' of what you can find the different variables used in the catalogue.

  This questions is more likely caused by an unsupported software RAID controller. VMware supports only hardware RAID controllers that have the physical disks and logical volumes for operating systems. Some hardware manufacturers provide additional drivers for their own material as well.
