How do I "Refresh" a discussion forum?

There was a preference in the old forum... something like "Refresh every X minutes." This would indicate new posts, even when the discussion was active. Is it possible to have this happen in this new and improved forum? Thank you.

You can always press the arrow 'Reload current page' in the Menu.

    2. read the FAQ at the top right of the page and view information about your system and your software so that we know what you're working with.

    Firefox 4 and later versions use a combined Stop/Reload/Go button that is placed at the right end of the address bar.

    During the process of loading page it shows as a stop button and once the charging button is replaced by a reload button.

    If you type in the address bar this button would then become a button go.

    Click the Reload button to duplicate the current tab in a new tab.

    I tried to create a new thread in a Discussion forum.  Closing the browser window and I was back on the desktop.  I did a system restore, which not only does not solve the problem, but deleted my internet security software.  Has worked with people of tendency to reinstall the software, but I get a message tht says: «Unable to extract the installer...» ».  I have a class of the internet this week and I need this computer.  Can someone please?

    You can undo the last restoration of the system using: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/76256-system-restore-undo.html.  This may fix your problem with security software that has uninstalled when you did the system restore (using a date that probably existed before the installation of trend).  I don't know if it works now that you have done other things to try to reinstate the program, but it's worth a try.  I sincerely doubt that this process could help with the problem of browser (and there not so undo it reverses your efforts).

    Only trend can help you with installation problems you encounter through their program.  Perhaps it didn't uninstall completely during the restoration of the system.  Check if the trend has a removal tool and use it to uninstall the program, then try to re - install again.  If this does not work, you will need to work with their technical support to solve the problem.

    Not really. I put the value sync with iCal and address book in Entourage. I would have more than 10 copies of the same item. So I stopped the sync and wanted to import iCal to Entourage. I discovered that Entourage is not giving me as many headaches as iCal and address book. I couldn't find a way to import iCal into a text file for the Entourage.     If you are hosting the site on BusinessCatalyst then you integrate the forum module in your site muse, as the way that articles are integrated.     We have Oracle 11.2.0.1 on Redhat 5.2. We use a dozen views fast refresh materialized in our application.
    Occasionally refresh MV takes longer than the refresh interval.

    One of the ways to improve the performance of refresh MV is to update at the same time, for example

- Use parallel DML - Oracle author Michael Armstrong Smith notes "I've done parallel materialized view refreshing
 on tables recently and improved the load times considerably. Rather than having one load which took 2 hours,

 how long the biggest partition takes to load. In my case, this is 40 minutes, with two 30 minute loads and one
 20 minute load.  Overall I am saving 1 hour 20 minutes. I can now add further partitions and do the same thing.
 My only limitation is the parallel loads because I don't have unlimited processing power.

Now the question, how to make refresh parallel. According to the paragraph cited above, Use parallel DML appears doing the job. Can someone  confirm that.

    I believe this particular forum is a top-level container.  You must select one of the sub-communities (on the right side of the page) to go in and actually publish.
