How do I restart from disk backup

I have a cloned backup disk using Super Duper. However, I don't know how to restart the computer using this player instead of inside. Help

Also, will someone please tell me about this selection of a 'Community' to get my post? If my question does not have these localities listed, what should I do?

To choose the volume of reboot, you have two choices:

  1. When starting up, hold down the option and command immediately once you start (or restart) the computer and press them. You will quickly get a screen that will show you the boot floppies and you can choose one with the mouse, the cursor keys or trackpad
  2. Start-up of system preferences, and then select Startup disk

Find the community that seems to answer to your question. If a higher level user it's a better place for the post it will report the message for guests who will move to it.

  • How to recover data from a backup of HP without HP Recovery recovery

Have HP p6230f AMD processor under Windows 7 Home Premium desktop unit.  Got infected with a Trojan horse really serious and it has corrupted so badly, it wouldn't boot Windows.  I did not have a recovery disc and can't find not all disks containing software to purchase, but I could start in the HP/Win 7 recovery page and backed up my hard drive of 10 DVD of the .wmi files.  After that, I couldn't repair Windows so I had to download a Windows 7 .iso file from online and do a fresh install of Windows 7 without the HP software.  Now, I have 10 drives backup but none program Cyberlink/HP Recovery.  How can I get the info from these to repopulate some of my programs such as Quikbook and Quicken?

Browse DVDs, probably on the last of them must be a file named RecoveryMgr. If you find it, double click RecoveryMgr.exe, activate the authorization, it will unpack wim files in a folder on drive C named "system recovery" will take time to decompress all the files.

  • How to remove LINE from iCloud backup

My iCloud storage is almost full, because the LINE is hogging 1.3 MB of memory. I appreciate the stories of my LINE, but I didn't need to save in iCloud.

I go to iPhone setting to iCloud to disable the list of backup LINE, but the LINE is not yet.

    Help, please.

You have installed for the line to the appropriate application? You can read the files using an application? If the answer to both is no, then line probably is not installed and the phone will not be affected by the deletion of iCloud.

  • How to restore files from a backup made during a system recovery?

I have a HP Pavilion a6700y Desktop PC running Vista 64-bit. I had to do a system recovery, and I backed up my files, such as recommended.

    How can I restore them?

    Thank you

    Tiggy

Acutally, that I found was in a folder named MINWINPC, there was a folder with the date of the backup, and that is a file named Backup.1.exe. When I ran that the files have been restored - very slowly. What you say can be applied to a different version of what I have.

Thanks a lot for the input!

  • How do I change from automatic backup by oldest date Photos?

I started to feel comfortable with pictures, but it is something that I can't find out how.  I can sort the albums alphabetically and photos in them by most recent first. However, I can't for the life of find me where to change what seems to be the default save more old first in the part of all the Photos.  Can someone help me with this please?

However, I can't for the life of find me where to change what seems to be the default save more old first in the part of all the Photos.

This album has only the option of sorting one - it is always set by the day that you have added photos, you will find always the more recently added photos at the bottom of the album, regardless of the date of the photo capture.

You can create your own "My Photos all ' as a smart album: file > new Smart Album

Then, apply the rules like this:

This will show all the photos with a date of most recent capture that 1/1/1000 that have not been hidden by you. You can sort it as any album.

  • How to remove data from disk external HARD of Regen

    Hi all

for the first time user, looking for a good site.

My problem is I had a PX126E - 1 16 for about 6 months now and it has been great for backing up photos and Favorites etc.

But now he came upward, it is full and the book accompanying the external hard drive has very little information on the functioning of the system.

What I want to do is to delete what is on the hard drive and start over.

That's my problem "how to remove what is on the hard drive.

Also where can I go for more information on the hard drives of Regen the book I said nothing

    See you soon
    Graham

    I agree with Homer.
If you connect the external HARD drive to the laptop, then it will appear in my computer.
There it is necessary to mark the new recognized external HARD drive, right click and choose format.

This procedure will format the entire external HARD drive and erase what was stored on the HARD drive.

Go to the section "all indicators; Locate this same metric and view it (choose the period that interests us).

There, you have the ability to save data in CSV or PNG.

  • How to restore from a backup

I was wondering how to restore files from automatic backup provided by windows vista Home premium.

Basically, I have a computer with 2 physical hard drives running windows vista Home premium.  I had backups automatic windows implemented non-system hard disk.  The system drive got accidentally erased.  I reinstalled windows vista Home premium on a new hard drive. However, I don't know how to restore the files that I had previously saved.  Could you link me to a tutorial or process step by step on how to proceed?
    Thank you

    Salvation Church,

You can restore backed up files lost, damaged, or accidentally modified versions. You can restore files individual, groups of files, or all files that you have saved.

    1. open the Center to backup and restore by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking system and Maintenance, and then click Backup Center and restoration.
    2. click on restore and then follow the steps.
