How do I see Configuration of memory to a managed server

Hello

Can someone explain to me how to see the settings of the memory of a server instance managed in weblogic server using the unix box

Thank you

Ravi

Hello

The parameter memory on the managed servers in WC_Spaces can be seen as mentioned below.

PS - eaf | Spaces of grep

Above the command indicates something like this at the top of the output:

/A01/app/oraweb/Middle/jrrt-3.1.2-1.6.0/bin/Java - jrockit-Xms512m -Xmx1024m -Dweblogic.Name = WC_Spaces1...

  • How do I see configuration at the top of the word documents

Lines of configuration used to appear at the top of the rules documents are missing for some of our rules documents.

They are texts that have gray background that is created during a compilation.

How do we get that back?

    Thanks in advance

That he then explained. Either variable declarations has ever existing in the Word doc in the first place (i.e.), to which cases you won't see them in the Word doc. Or they were declared in the Word doc at some point in the past, moved into the property at a later stage file and then manually removed the Word doc.

Whatever it is, you won't see the statements in the Word doc. They are not hidden, they are not just there. There is no need of statements exist in the Word doc if they are in the property file. The Word doc statements are basically superfluous, once these variables are in the properties file. It does not hurt to let in doc Word, even if they were put in the file properties as well, but it is not necessary.

When I read your first post I thought that the statements were present, but hidden (i.e. hidden text setting has been disabled), but actually looks like they're simply not there.

You were asking about how to see the config lines because you thought there was something wrong with your Word doc? If so, then I think that you probably don't need to worry because it seems that the Word doc is fine. If all variables have been declared in the properties file, then I suppose the document compiles / thin Builds?

  • How to configure virtual memory

original title: can I have a virtual memory support on my LE1600 motion tablet that has a recent clean install of Windows XP with all the driver updated day and MAX Ram installed and activated?

    About virtual memory size

Control Panel > system > Advanced tab > Performance - Settings button > button change tab advanced - virtual memory box - > choices are

    -Custom size

    -System Managed Size (checked)

    -No pagefile

It is said that size is 5120 MB

    -minimal allowed 2 MB

    -Recommended 2287 MB

    -Run 1 525 MB

System just told me it's too small and it's not the it and if I want to find out more, look in help. But there is no help button. Only the button is OK

Please tell me if there is SOMETHING I can do. I'm really tired of this computer runs slowly in time and ignoring the mouse input. And I am sure that I have no malware problem. Perhaps he too little RAM for what is happening? I have the max ram installed and activated, which can be accessed at http://www.memoryx.net/mocolectapcm.html

Please could I have a few tips specific given by someone so me (a person of no pc specialist) can I try to fix this problem without spending money I don't have or sending it anywhere be it fixed because I can not afford to do so, but I need to work a lot faster. It has always been a slow Tablet but now it is sometimes ridiculous. Sometimes it's 'OK', but it is not ALWAYS admirable.

Windows works the way it is supposed to work.  How much memory is being used by the system and applications running exceeds the sum of physical memory (RAM) and the file for the current page, Windows automatically increases the size of the page file (unless your hard drive is close to full).  The message you see Windows reacts to a heavy load on your system - it is not the result to set the filename of the page.

When the message says: "Look in the help", you should do it.  Click Start > Help and Support, and then type
    virtual memory
in the search box.  Look for the section titled "Managing your computer's performance."

A good explanation of how Windows XP deals with 'virtual memory' starts here--> http://www.theeldergeek.com/paging_file.htm in particular, you should read the section on 'Sizing page file'

If your system is slow, it is because it is overloaded or with applications that you run intentionally malicious (you do not give the basis of your belief that you are sure that you don't have a malware problem).  Take a look at the processes listed in the Task Manager.  Do you know what they all are?  Do you really need for each of them to run?  Those who take the biggest percentage of cycles CPU?  Don't bother looking at the 'memory' column - which will really help you in determining which slows things.

If your system is like most, you'll probably multiple instances of svchost.exe running.  It's normal.  You can use Process Explorer to see what svchost is doing (details here http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/list-services-running-under-svchost.exe-process/) but you can try this first easy way:

Open a command prompt window (start > run > cmd > OK)
In the black command prompt window, type the following line and press enter

    Tasklist/SVC /fi "imagename eq svchost.exe".

[This is an 'eye' tiny 'eff' after the slash - abbreviation for filter]

You will get a list like this:

    Image name PID Services
    ========================= ====== =============================================
    Svchost.exe 1148 DcomLaunch, TermService
    Svchost.exe 1248 RpcSs

For more information on these 'services' look here--> http://www.blackviper.com/service-configurations/black-vipers-windows-xp-x86-32-bit-service-pack-3-service-configurations/

or use Google or ask in an answer here.  FWIW, all names in the list above are OK (although several are not really necessary).

  • How to load a pointer data memory in table

I'm trying to interface to a DLL used to manage a piece of hardware. The DLL is written in c. uses _stdcall and the Import Wizard has hooked up with success of most screws in a library; many of them work everything just as it is. I have also played with the knot of library function call and think that most of the time, I got the hang of it. I ran successfully for the odd Windows API call (e.g., MessageBox). However, I am a newcomer in Labview. My problem is related to a DLL function that requires a pointer to a block of memory, in which he then dealt with the material (in the form of table of UINTs) data. I want to display these data in Labview, through a table I guess. I think I found everything I need to do in terms of creating a table and hanging until the node of library function call with an input pointer.

I hope this would work IF the block of memory has been fully completed until the function has returned. HOWEVER, this is not how the DLL function. It creates a thread that exert to put data in the memory block after the function in the DLL. Extra features are available for face to discover if the data transfer is complete. I guess this is enough to refute the marshaling of data in Labview, unless there is some special commands for this purpose.

I thought maybe I should allocate the memory using the Windows API (LocalAlloc LPTR flagged so I get a pointer) and I wrote a little VI that allocates and releases the memory that seems to work. This way I can release memory when the transfer is complete. MY PROBLEM is, given the pointer to the block of memory, as returned by LocallAlloc, how can I get Labview to read the memory in an array of integers.

I am now a little stuck and would like to receive advice on one, how to convert the block of memory, or on a way to approach things btter.

    TIA

    SteveJM wrote:

So I have a working solution, which is basically the same idea as your suggestion, but uses the Windows API. I took the trouble to mention it, but when I looked more closely at 'MoveBlock', 'DSNewPtrt' etc, I realized that they are a static C library. This means that using them requires that you have a C development system and knowledge how to build DLLs on that. As it happens that causes me a problem, but it seemed like a hammer in this case because the routines you need are already in the kernel32.dll module. [Yes that makes specific Windows, but then you would need rebuild your dll for each operating system in any case].

This paragraph is completely inaccurate.  These functions are integrated into the runtime LabVIEW, without which your LabVIEW code will not work.  You have the guarantee that if you can run your LabVIEW code, or in the development environment or as a compiled application, these functions are available.  No need for a C development system (if that were the case, don't you think someone would have mentioned in one of the many messages on this forum on the use of MoveBlock?).

    SteveJM wrote:

It is true that you need to find a way to pass the pointer to the destination of reference. In other words, using a "handful" I guess. One of the difficulties is that the documentation for Labview is rather imprecise on what happening coming in and out of the function call. Unfortunately, the meaning of "Handle" is very dependent on context, so documentation should be much more detailed. If you select 'Manage' rather than "Pointer table" minimum size box disappears implying that Labview will take a pointer to a pointer to a format of Labview. It would then allow the size information in the allocation of the table and set the offset pointer approprately when passing a pointer to the function that would fill the memory. If the size of the table was large enough, it might be useful to tweak with this to avoid the copy useless (and allocation), but I don't have time now, unless I find the best literature which explicitly explains this gathering takes place for each option in the dialog box.

All the help you need is available.  Set up a call library function node to pass by handle, close the configuration dialog box, right-click on the function call library node and choose Create .c file...  You will get a draft of C with all structs defined for you, and you will see that the handful of LabVIEW table includes size information.  There is no "triage."  He is just passing pointers autour (and a few and Word-permutation of bytes due to problems of "endianness").  When you pass an array of pointer to array value, you get what you expect - LabVIEW dereferences the handle once and passes the pointer of table.  It's exactly like a C function call.  Nothing unusual occurs when the call is returned (with the exception, even once, "endianness" switch if necessary).  That said, it's a bad idea to do what you want to do with a handle, because LabVIEW is allowed to move the table when he likes and has no way to know that some other functions still has this memory block to stay where he is.

  • Configuration of memory PowerEdge T410

    Hi all

Let me start by saying our current configuration of memory (Dell PowerEdge T410):

We have only one processor installed, so we have 4 DIMM for use A1 - A4. Only 3 are currently installed like:

    A3: 4GB 2Rx8 1333

    A2: 4GB 2Rx8 1333

    A1: 4GB 2Rx8 1333

    A4: white

in its current wording, our server (running sbs2011) is extremely slow, and we traced it to the use of the RAM. That being said, I went to the store in line of Dell and bought 2 8 GB 4Rx8 1066 RAM sticks to use on the server. I thought I'd take a module of 4 GB, so I then total 24GB (2 GB + 2 8 GB 4).

Read the manual material, I see that mix 2rx8 and 4rx8 is supported as long as the 4rx8 is in the white slot (first location of the channel). I also see that mixture of capacities of ram is supported as long as each channel has a similar configuration. I assumed that this means that each channel had the same capacity. So I thought 8 GB in every channel:

    A3: 8 GB (channel 2)

    A2: 8 GB (channel 1)

    A1: 4 GB (channel 0)

    A4: 4GB (channel 0)

I placed the DIMMs in this thought of configuration I have all together until I started the server and I get an error of the incompatibility of DIMM and the BIOS indicates memory configuration not supported. However, starting the server in windows and it says 24GO and is normally. What Miss me? Should I be worried? How can I fix?

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much!

    Hello

It is not optimal because you mix DIMMS in a bank. The system supports memory triple channel. It does this by spreading a Bank of memory on 3 channels. Here is how the banks are set up:

    DIMM 0 - 1,2,3
    DIMM 1-4

For an optimal configuration of the DIMMS in slots 1,2,3 must be identical. In older systems that do not support memory flexible configuration the DIMMS in slots 2.3 would be disabled. Since this system supports flexible memory configurations, it will allow the DIMM to stay, but gives no optimal error.

If you mix memory in this system, you can have 1 Unlike DIMM installed for an optimal configuration. The optimal configuration that uses the maximum memory to the DIMM you have available would be:

    8 GB - 1.2
    4 GB - 4

The best non-optimal configuration would be:

    8 GB - 1.2
    4 GB - 3.4

This configuration will always give you errors, but it is better than the current configuration.

    APITech
I also see that mixture of capacities of ram is supported as long as each channel has a similar configuration.

This does not mean that you must have identical DIMM modules in the channels. It means that channels must be filled even. Here is an example:

    DIMM 0 slots 1,2,3 =
    DIMM 1 slots 4,5,6 =

    Chanel, 0 = 1.4
    Channel 1 = 2.5
    Channel 2 = 3.6

You have DIMMs of different rank, speed and capacity mixed through the channels, but you can't have different configurations. For example, in this configuration if you filled DIMM slots 1,2 and then the configuration is valid for DIMM 1 would be filling in only one MEMORY card into the Groove 4 (if the system did not require DIMM be installed in pairs) or 2 DIMMS in slots 4.5. You can't fill a DIMM in the slot 6 since the first slot (3) in the channel (2) is not met.

The population of channel rule means essentially that you can not complete the second slot in a channel if the first place is not filled. In your housing system 1 and 4 are channel 0. All channels have only a single slot assigned to each memory controller. As long as you have one DIMM in slot 1, you can fill the slot 4.

Memory population rules can be very confusing. If you have any other questions let me know.

    Thank you

  • How to increase the amount of memory to the host system?

    Hello gentlemen,

I am new to VMware ESXi 5, and I want to know how to increase the amount of memory for the host system?

I saw in the Configuration menu of the host, my ESXi host has only 77.3 MB. I think it's wrong, it's too little amount of memory dedicated to the host system. It is not a (Properties) button after I was able to change the amount of memory host system.

Please, be so kind, help me!

    Thanks in advance!

    Welcome to the community,

where do you see this amount of memory?

The total amount of memory installed on the host can be seen in the summary, tab (resources) with the host country is selected in the inventory.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

I'm sorry I didn't know you already had the map.  There is a property for NO-Scope node to determine the total amount of available memory that we can then divide down to get the memory available per channel.  Please see the vi and help below:

This gives a shot, just drop it in a VI that you use and if it should return your memory cards.  If you don't have a LabVIEW I can probably retrieve the purchased version by querying your serial number.
