How do you know if there is any fragmentation
How do you know if there are any fragmentation of the cube of OSB?Go to the properties of database-> statistics tab
If the average ratio of clustering is 1 - there is no fragmentation. (virtually impossible)
If the average ratio of clustering is greater than 0.6 - then it's ok
If the average of clustering ratio is less than 0.5 - then there is considerable fragmentation in the cube and you must defragment the cube.

I try to install Service pack 3 on my windows XP system when I try to download I have the C:\windows\ssystem32\ntdll.dll message is opened or currently in use by another application you approach other applications & try again, I'm connected only to Microsoft, how know if there are other applications running.
I hope it's because you just made a new installation of Windows XP?
Through these two articles:
- Steps to take before you install Windows XP Service Pack 3
- Windows XP SP3 - read all the prerequisites for a successful installation
What I propose is the following...
- Go to this web page: How to reset the Windows Update components? and use the FixIt utility in aggressive mode.
- Reset.
- Download here all the SP3 Setup file: Windows XP Service Pack 3 Package of Network Installation for developers and information technology professionals and save it to the Office of the administrator of the user account on the computer in question.
- Reset.
- Double-click the installation file downloaded in step 3 and follow the instructions.

How do you know if there is a specific "volume label"?
I am running Windows 7, and I have several external connected to my PC HARD drive. Volume name 'BOOTLOADER' a HARD drive.
How can I write a LabVIEW vi, to know if volume label exist, IE if the HARD drive is connected to my PC?
I tried the solution in the link below:
but I couldn't get the batch file to work.
In regards to the .NET solution, I copy and paste the block diagram of my VI, which does not... See my earlier post in this forum. Running the original VI works well...
It is pretty easy to get the list of drives by letter with list dir, but I could not find a clean way to LabVIEW, if you want to check for a specific drive, maybe you can test the size and the size of sector... I know it's just a workaround of shit...
hope this helps

My all-in-one printer scanner Canon MX 860 lost the ability to print from the computer, now that I've upgraded to El Capitan. It didn't happen immediately, but now the buttons 'research' went to Canon interface, and the interface of the Apple System. (I spent half a day on troubleshooting, reset and download the drivers from Canon without success.)
I want to buy a new all-in-one printer... (not Canon, thank you). I need to be sure that there is a 'friendly' pilot El Capitan before I buy and connect my printer. Interfaces for printer drivers are configured to "detect" my printer before the printer list is revealed. I checked Apple's site, but the model numbers are not exactly the same as the units that I compare before you buy.
I am currently in Singapore where items back isn't something they do unless it is non-functional. You have chosen it, it works, you buy it, it's yours. I need to be sure about the drivers before you have the machine.
See this link for compatible printers.

How do you know if there are more positive or negative numbers?
I'll try to explain my problem with an example, because I do not have labVIEW installed in the computer.
I have 10 numbers and multiply to 10 other numbers
and of course I get 10 results, after I have to show the value of meddium of this 10 results and must show the signal that most seem (+ or-)
My problem is to show the signal, if I have 7 positive 3 numbers and negative numbers, how to measure and display the negative signal to the final?
example:
-0,3-0,8 1 0.3 0.6-0.7 - 0.1-0.5 0.3-0.4
If I have to put in the final:
-0.5
Thank you

Should I delete the programs of 2004? How can you know what is safe to delete?
Original title: remove programs
I think I have a virus. I see on my computer a few applications with and installed as of 2004. The computer was purchased in 2007. When I run it in safe mode, it works fine and all applications have a date of 2007 or newer. Should I delete the programs of 2004? How can you know what is safe to delete?
Hello
This is not an indication of malware. Could be those are placed on the
computer by the manufacturer of the system and that was the date that firstly, they prepared their

How will I know whether to install any program in the 64-bit or 32-bit section in Vista?
original title: where to install?
How can I know weather to install any program in the 64-bit or 32-bit section?
Hello DaphneanEpiphany,
The application that you are installing will sort it out for you. Unless the software is told explicitly 64-bit in the box, you can be assured that the software will be 32-bit.
If you are running a copy of Windows Vista (or 7) 64-bit operating system will install the software in the right folder so I don't worry about this.

I ran windows 7 installation on my computer using DVD who had 32 and 64-bit data and for that I currently have 32-bit and 64-bit installed in my computer. So I would like to know if there is any way I can remove the 32 bit and keep the 64 bits without harming my computer or stored data because now both bits is eating space on my C drive/partition!
OT:
Windows
Why do you think you have "32-bit and 64-bit" versions of Windows 7 installed?
If you installed the 64-bit version (which you will need if your computer has more than 4 GB of RAM and you want to use all of this RAM), you can see a few references to 32-bit architecture. The 64 bit version of Windows needs these files in order to run software that is designed for 32-bit architecture.
Perhaps the most obvious instance is the presence of the following two directories:
C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files (x 86). It is normal for both of these directories present in a 64-bit system.

Original title: completely clueless
I'm totally clueless when it comes to computers, but I try very hard to learn. I am using the help section a LOT, but I can't seem to find an answer to the only thing that makes me crazy. How can you know what drivers and programs are essential and those that can be deleted without harming my computer? I have a very basic net accountant I learn on before I screw up a portable more expensive and I do a cleaning on my C and D drives to improve performance because it runs so slow but it tells me I have the drivers who slow down Windows. I would greatky appreciate any assistance from someone who has the patience of a saint and is willing to take the time to explain it to me, in terms laymans. Thanks in advance
Drivers: you should know what you bought (in your machine) and what * you * want out of it. If you want stability and things work properly - let alone the drivers. If you want more performance check (and other games) in the drivers of motherboard chipset and video network from the manufacturers Web site... For more stability stick with the OEM website (HP, Dell, Lenovo - the assembler of the whole machine) and slightly more performance/push the limits (even if they want to work too - so still some stability) - access to websites of its components manufacturer.
With regard to the programs: you can decide what you use and do not use. If you are not sure, look it up (Google) or ask.
