  I know EXACTLY what you mean.  I was doing something exactly on these lines just yesterday.

  It is not trivial, but it is doable.

  For 'hard points', you can try the Spot Healing Brush first.

  But here is a tip that I use sometimes which may well increase overall finesse:

  1. select just the surface of the skin.

  2. selection a little market and soften the edge, just to make sure that you don't mess the edges.

  3. median filter - noise - and set the RADIUS to be big enough.  Look at the image to see the level of smoothing.

  4. change - bland and knock back effect, while it is not perfect, but makes a subtle improvement.

  

  

  

  Then, for clearing-up soft darkening, try the burn and Dodge tools, at a low level of exposure (and possibly with Airbrush Mode).  Work slow.

  Cloning with low opacity can sometimes help as well.

  Aside from that, you can generate a lot of light and reflections by stacking multiple effects and working with duplicates of the layer - extract the highlights using levels or threshold, apply the directional blur etc., coloring with Ting, Tritone or Colorama, apply a layer of mixture of modes to the source...

  I don't think you understand the concept of Lightroom. The settings are stored in the catalog. They are not applied to the images. The catalog is the key. If the images in the main location are damaged or lost, then you can copy the backup images at that location and any adjustments that have been made will be implemented. The main thing you want to be sure to do is have a backup of your catalog, as well as a backup of your images. You can export copies of your images as JPEG, PSD or TIF images, and these copies will have all the adjustments included.

  Instead of 'index automatically to zero', why not just make a zero instead of the size of table manipulation-1-1?

  Of course it will all fall apart once you get to column Z.

  I would never recommend 720 p unless there is a specific need for this image size. The standard is 1080 X 1920 pixel square and 29.97 frames per second in all countries that runs of their electricity at 60 cycles and 25 frames per second in all countries on the standard PAL where electricity is 50 Hz. If the composition settings show custom you had better know exactly what you are doing. You should also use Adobe Media Encoder to render all items to be delivered. Unless you have requirements of presentation given by a client using H.264 and choose the preset that matches your model size and pace. If you go on YouTube, use their presets. If you use Vimeo their. Here again, unless you know exactly what you are doing should not be Custom in the settings panel. The only thing you might want to check is to ensure that the multi pass rendering and maximum quality is selected. These will slow a bit rendering but will reduce the compression in color and movement artifacts.

  The Cue Render in After Effects is very useful to render DI (digital intermediate) in a format without loss of production or master visually lossless. Is it y important audiotape or its treatment in your project, or there is a lot of editing then you'll want to make your rendering of Premiere Pro and your sound work in hearing. AE is primarily designed to create Visual effects and motion graphics and short sequences shots that will be edited and assembled and put to the point in a NLE such as Premiere Pro. Too much new users to EI and even quite a few people who have used AE for a long time, try and make 5 or 10 movies minutes in AE.   Most of the cable modems will give an IP address, so connect a switch to the modem and then connection of two computers and a router to the switch will usually result in one of these three devices, get an IP address (and internet connection), while the other two will not be.  (Notice that I guess a true "Modem" and not a "Modem/Router" device).  The correct configuration would be to connect your router to the modem (router gets the unique IP address).  The router can then process from the addresses IP what either side LAN of the router, then plug the devices you need (including switch) to the router's LAN ports.  This also ensures that all devices will be on the same subnet that your connection scheme to separate devices on the router wireless from the other two devices on the switch (here, assuming that you have a router/Modem device).

The best solution, especially if one of your samples consist of a significant change in the value is color LAB where color and tonal scale are handled in separate channels.
