  Hey guys, I recently watched a video on youtube of a short cartoon with "Chowder" effect, and I was wondering how can I do this in Flash CS5?

  In fact, it is far from bustling.  It seems that hats and shirts to act as masks and red and green areas that make up the hats and shirts that you end up seeing is just a model that lies behind these masks.  If you pay attention, you'll see that they don't move at all... the masks (hats and shirts) to travel.

  This is one of the many ways to do it:

  Duplicate the text and you need to precompose it.  The precomp has transparency, and you can animate multiple instances of the Choker of AE mere combined sanding the edges.  Use this precomp as matte for the text.

  I'm new to after effects and I'm sure there are a lot of tutorials for things similar to this. I don't know what to look for to find them yet. What are we doing here?

  I guess that this has been done with some stoke footage of smoke used as hiding luma.  Basically it just load some good footage of smoke, put it in a layer above the one you want that effect on and then change the matte of the lower layer affecting "Luma".

  The text I believe is a simple style using bevel and Emboss. A sample of what I think they did is attached. I used black Ariel for the police.

  Just add a levels adjustment layer.  Move the black slider 'exit' to the right to kill blacks, and the cursor entry Central (gamma) to the right to darken

  It looks like the oil paint filter, with perhaps a slight blur. (Could be the picture too; every photo reacts differently). Oil paint is located under the filter > esthetics > oil painting. (Note that it is the latest version of Photoshop CC).

  The simplest is probably to use Image-> adjustments-> Hue/Saturation and tick the 'Colorize' box, then select the hue and Saturation of the color you want.

  If you try to reproduce the effect of the menu at the bottom that move upward and stays there for the rest of the scroll to the bottom of the site, then it is possible. This effect is possible by using the effect of Parallax of Muse.
