Hello

Seems that you are owner of a Satellite Pro A120. Am I wrong? I checked you another thread ;)

Anyway, back to this announcement. I m a little surprised and I wonder what tools of Toshiba you mean?
The Options and Services TOSHIBA are not known to me!

Where did you find these tools or the place where you want?
You can find most of the Toshiba tools and utilities in the assistance of Toshiba.
It is a reservoir for all Tosh tools pre-installed.
But as far as I know nothing beats the Services TOSHIBA and Options

  • Satellite P100-488 - installation Toshiba tools and utilities on Windows 7

    Hello everyone,

I bought a pre-order Windows 7 Professional for my laptop, and want to upgrade to Windows Vista Home Premium installed on it at the moment.

However, I have just one question:

-Do you think I'll be able to upgrade to Windows 7 Professional without a complete installation Windows Vista Home Edition?
    - Otherwise, if I have to perform a complete installation, then is it possible to install the Toshiba tools and utility from the CD (I have not found anything to do)?

    Thanks in advance.

    Fred

    Hi Fred

As I see you have two questions. ;)

Initially, I would say I don't think anyone here will be able to provide accurate answers, but here's my opinion:

Q1 full installation for the installation of the OS I prefer, but I think that you will be able to make Win7 upgrade. Problem is how the Toshiba tools and utilities will work after this upgrade. As far as I know in the past Toshiba has suggested to abolish some tools and utilities before installation upgrade begins.
Then perhaps you should think of the complete installation of operating system. I think it is the best solution for you.

Q2 I the history I see a problem, what happens if Toshiba does not provide supported Win7 for your laptop model? You will then have problems and try to use Vista stuff in hopes that it works with Win7 too. Anyway, in this forum, you can find several assignments where people confirm that most of the stuff Vista with Win7 runs.

    Good luck Fred.

  • How to enable web services and search for printer email address

I am trying to sign up for the monthly INK from HP.  As part of the application, they ask me a CODE.  However, I can't CODE because I am advised that my Web services are not enabled.  How to enable Web services so that I can complete my application?  Thanks for any help you can offer me.

    Hello

What model of printer you have?

Assuming your eprint-enabled printer, please follow the steps below to connect to web services and get your email from the printer.

To find printers e-mail you need to enable web services from the front panel of the printer. It is normally a button on the front panel or an option in a menu.

The printer will be connected to your WiFI network, and once the device is activated, it should display a page with a code composed of letters and numbers. It is the e-mail address of printers (when you add a @hpeprint.com to it).

Once you have this, go ahead and configure a connected HP account and register the printer to your account. This will allow you to manage settings of the ePrint printer but also to track the history of the work.

    I am the owner of:
    Satellite A110-275
    Part number: PSAB0E-00T00TEN
graphics card intel gma 945 up to 128 MB.

Recently, I updated the bios of 1.20 to 1.30 and after reboot, I lost 64 megabytes of 'graphics card capabilities.
After bios update, my computer is much lower. Why? How can one get 128 MB of memory on my intel gma 945?

By the way. It is possible to change any file and configure gma 945 manually up to 256 MB features? I have a lot of ram and I could use it for games, now I can use only 8 to 64 MB.

    Hello

According to some of the comments in this forum, you must contact the Toshiba service partner in your country if you have some problems with the hardware.

I found a nice Toshiba support site:
    _eu http://eu.Computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/generic_content.jsp?service=eu&ID=Support_Homepage

If you look at the area of repair & maintenance you will find a link find a authorized Service Provider you will find a database with ASP together all over the world.

But tell the truth put I don't think that there is a problem on your laptop, but I will write more in your first post that you posted in the field of satellites.

  • cfFncEnabler and Toshiba Service Station ceased Woking

    Hi all

I apologize if this question has already been posted but I searched through the forums and the answers already posted did not help me in my problem. It really sucks that it seemed just arrived after a regular update. Since I got my laptop I've been running a scan antivirus with AVG and updated my drivers whenever prompted.  So first of all, I got the dreaded blue screen of death. After many attempts of system restores I finally got to the point where I stopped making BSOD. (Hooray!) And then came the "cfFncEnabler" and "Toshiba Service Station" ceased work messages. I have a laptop Toshiba U500 with Windows Vista Edition Home Premium as well as the windows SP2. I can't understand if it's a U500-ST5302, U500-ST5305, U500-ST5307, U500-ST6321, U500-ST6322 or U500-ST6344. (If you can guide me on how to understand this, I would be very grateful as well!) I really need some help here because I believe that its somehow affecting my Internet connection I need for my classes at the University online! Thanks in advance!

First off thank you very much for your quick response John. I didn't respond to your response, until I was able to run all of the suggestions you gave me and be able to tell the results. So, unfortunately after crossing solutions you gave me that nothing really worked. I had no problem in safe mode, so I'm stuck using them for school work and run all my experimental solutions. Clean boot didn't work, I called Toshiba and they wanted me to pay $60 for the (ridiculous) call. The Toshiba forum link you sent helped me to solve the problem with the Service Station but the cffncEnabler one.

Ultimately I had to restore laptop to factory settings by running my recovery discs and everything is fine. I would like the rest of you out there, good luck with your Toshiba trouble. They are really great laptops despite this setback bit!

    Hey monkey 44,

I suggest you view the history in Windows Update:

    Hello

Saving workouts through the app to drive using others as the type of activity, active calories are estimated at a rate equivalent to a brisk walk or based on the data recorded by the heart rate sensor, according to what is higher.

The following steps can help to improve the accuracy of the estimates made by your watch:

    • Estimates for calories and other results depend, in part, your personal information. To verify that it is accurate:
      • On your iPhone, in the application of the watch, go to: My Watch (tab) > health > Edit (top-right).
    • While training, to optimize the performance of the heart rate sensor (data from which is used when estimating calories), make sure you wear your watch fits on top of your wrist. Apple suggests that consider you the clamping Strip before starting a workout and it loosen again thereafter.
      • Note that the heart rate sensor is likely to give better results for the workouts that involve rhythmic (such as running) rather than the irregular movements.
    • Calibrate your watch can improve the accuracy of various estimates related to the activity, including estimates of calorie. To calibrate your watch, follow the instructions in the link below support article. You can reset your calibration data and start the process:
      • On your iPhone, in the application of the watch, go to: Watch My > privacy > Motion & Fitness > tap reset Calibration data.

It's a shame that we know so little on your system, windows xp, Service Pack 3...

This is because the forums MS Answers does not prompt for information, when a new question is asked.

Thank you MS Answers, allowing the resolution of simple problems as frustrating and a lot of time as possible.

Your system has or has had a malware infection.

Whatever not specified antivirus/antimalware software or you use requests have failed to protect your system.  Remember to replace or supplement / them.

I would follow this diet to relieve your symptoms, immediate and then followed with some free and respectable malware scanners.

Both scanners by operating clean, it would be time to fix any problems.

    Part 1:

If you see things like this:

You do not have sufficient security privileges to restore your system.
The System Restore tab is missing from the my computer properties.
System Restore has been disabled by group policy.  To turn on system restore, contact your domain administrator.
The System Restore tab is available, but the turn off System Restore (disabled by Group Policy) box is grayed out.
The task manager has been disabled by your system administrator.
The registry editor has been disabled by your system administrator.
The task manager has been disabled by group policy.
The registry editor has been disabled by group policy.
The command prompt has been disabled by your administrator.  Press a key to continue...
The operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer.  Please contact your system administrator.
The "Run" option is missing from the start menu.
The option "Log off."... ' is missing from the Start Menu.

The usual advice are something in the sense of "something has been disabled in the group policy...". ", and it is probably true that something has been disabled, but you know what something is and what it takes to do about it.

If you are using XP Home Edition, you will get away with advice to use the Group Policy Editor, because there is no Group Policy Editor in XP Home and that really doesn't tell you where to look in group policy, even if you run the Group Policy Editor.

You need a complete solution that works for all versions of XP and requires no hunting around in the Group Policy Editor or registry to find where things are that have been disabled.

Unless you have disabled these things on purpose, chances are good that your system has a malware infection.  The malware knows what tools you use to try to find and remove, for the malware disables the things you are more likely to consume and prevents them from running if you can't find the malware and remove it.

If your system has this kind of affliction, all malicious software tools you currently use or have used failed to protect your system so that you can expand your horizons malware detection and prevention to prevent these kinds of afflictions in the first place.

The malware will be happy you trick into thinking that you need to so something drastic to fix your system - as a facility repair, system restore point or a total reinstallation of XP.  This is what it would be like you, but these measures are not necessary.

You must solve the immediate problem of the tools does not, then scan your system for malware when you are finished.

No matter what kind of malware you've used analytical tools, they are unlikely to solve this problem, because they cannot tell if the changes made to your system have been on purpose (you or an administrator who makes them) or some malware changed them, so the analysis tools will let these things alone (it's usually a good thing).

If your system is afflicted in this way, there are probably other things that also do not work - like the registry editor, System Restore and the command prompt, so fix them all at once even if you have not discovered they are broken again.

These commands from registry removes the registry entries that are stop opening programs.  Although the registry entries do not exist, these commands are safe to run and will work for all versions of XP.

Before making any changes to your registry, back up the registry with this free and popular tool:

    http://www.SnapFiles.com/get/ERUNT.html

Open Notepad to create a new text file:

Click Start, run and enter in the box:

    notebook

Click OK to open a new Notepad file.

Copy and paste the following lines of text into the new Notepad file.

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System]

Save the new text file with extension .reg on your desktop or somewhere you can remember with a name you can remember, something like:

    enableit.reg

After you save the file, close Notepad.

Locate the file enableit.reg on your desktop and double-click it.

Alternatively, you can right-click on the enableit.reg file, choose open with... and select the registry editor.

Answer in the affirmative to the question... Are you sure you want to add the information in the registry?

You should then see a message that information has been registered in the register.

    Reboot your system and test.

You can delete the enableit.reg file when you are finished.

If the registry editor has also been disabled, we first fix (not a problem).

    Part 2:

Download, install, update and do a full scan with these free malware detection programs:
    Malwarebytes (MMFA): http://malwarebytes.org/
    SUPERAntiSpyware: (SAS): http://www.superantispyware.com/
They can be uninstalled later if you wish.

    Restart and fix any problems.

I have a 2002 version of Windows XP. I'm not sure how to access the "replace" option in Notepad. (I think) I don't have office because I can't afford it. Using wordpad. Then press insert to overtype mode / press again to return to normal. I don't think that the notebook has the opportunity. Think either is not a spell checker. There are freeware alternatives, that would probably do a better job than one of them. And it will have more features

It is an alternative (and free) and can use a spell checker (you need to download it). And also has a mode to overwrite (insert press to do)

It's my generic how updates of appropriate driver: you mainly want to update or reinstall the touchpad drivers
and ALSO to get the Toshiba value added Package for your version IF it is there.

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - Device Manager - Display Adapter - note the brand and complete model of your
video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now click on UPdate Driver (this
cannot do anything as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT
This will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party with their
own the software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now go to the site of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restoration) and then of the manufacturer of the device
(Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for the BIOS, Chipset and software)
updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - tab drivers version you install actually shows up. This
because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so install a
pilot - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat if necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW on device at the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER - manually check by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.
