How many problems Windows has?

How many problems microsoft windows there so far, including all versions and office? Address in thousands of billions, billions?

Each product has the potential for bugs, such as Windows, so I'm not trying to make excuses here, just to put things in perspective.

However, when something does not work, or if you get an error message it does not necessarily that it's Windows which is the cause (although it could be). Windows operating systems must interact with so many combinations of hardware, drivers, applications, and devices, the problem may reside with any of them (or a combination of them). It's just that the Windows operating system is where the user sees the error/problem for a lot of people usually assume that Windows is the cause.

Updates and service packs are planned for a number of reasons, such as:

-improved stability;

-fixed the vulnerabilities that have been discovered;

-Add new features.

Types of similar arguments apply to the office.

As for how many problems there are, I have no idea and I don't worry about this - just keep your system through Windows Update.

    How to get Vista recovery Media and/or to use the Vista recovery Partition on your computer.

    There is no Vista free download legal available.

    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
    Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...
    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    You can also make recovery disk/s since the Partition of recovery in case of hard drive failure or System Crash, when you are in service again...

    They will tell you how to do this.

    Every computer manufacturer has their way of doing recovery disk/s.

    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.

    If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):

    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

    Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

    This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

    This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

    -Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
    For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
    Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

    For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
    Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
    your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
    Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
    Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

    Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
    with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

    Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
    Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
    BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

    Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

    Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
    presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
    in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

    Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

    Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

    If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver under Windows
    Updates, that leaves about Windows updates but it will not install the drivers that will be generally
    older and cause problems. If updates offers a new driver and then HIDE it (right click on it), then
    get new manually if you wish.

  • If I buy Windows 7 OS, how many times am I going to be able to reload my complete OS in case that I have to due to virus attacks?

    I understand that my XP Pro. Operating system will not be supported after 2014. I'm considering buying Windows 7 OS for my computer Netronics. The complete set of OS software seems to be, plus about $ 400. My computer is old, 2 HD CPU Speed with 750 MB of ram. I hope that I can move the ram to 1 GB or more.

    I had to reload my software XP Pro half a dozen times over the years because of my stupidity and virus successfully attacks and the crud of software spies screwing with my software.
    The new software has a limit to how many times it to load on my system? What happens if I choose to update my motherboard in the future, him Windows 7 operating system will "travel" in the new motherboard without difficulty, or the Microsoft 7 operating system will not allow this type of "significant change in the architecture of the system?

    The full retail license allows you to reinstall and reactivate as many times as you like on the same computer.

    Windows can be activated at any number of times, but your re-activation experience will vary depending on how you acquired Windows.

    • If you acquired Windows through buying the retail (product in box), you can activate via Internet the first five times. Activations are allowed but must be supplemented by telephone.

    • If you buy Windows preinstalled on a computer, reinstalling require no additional activation measures unless significant material changes have been made.

    To activate Windows on this computer, follow these steps:

    Open Activation of Windows by clicking on the Start button > click computer > click Properties > click on "click here to activate Windows now. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    For more information about Windows activation, please click on the following link:

    If you need to reload Windows 7 often, I suggest you invest in an external hard drive, when you first install and activate Windows 7, you must create a system image.

    When you need to reinstall Windows 7 in the future, simply restore the image of the system, it will exempt the need to reactivate Windows 7.

    Make a significant change, however, if reactivation by phone:

    How to activate Windows 7 manually (activate by phone)

    1) click Start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 4

    (2) press the ENTER"" key.

    (3) select your "country" in the list.

    (4) choose the option "activate phone".

    (5) stay on the phone (do not select/press all options) and wait for a person to help you with the activation.

    (6) explain your problem clearly to the support person.
