• Migration cold - how many simultaneous servers

  We have a customer moving servers from one host to another host in the same ms. We do a migration cold because there are some limitations to this customer and no SAN/storage network so all local drives on the host server. Although we can now do vMotion without storage applications SAN/network has some limitations too and client wants to move which is supported by the seller and do not go by what VMWare can support.   It worked well in testing for a few dozen images.  But now I'm he runs with about 200 images and about half the images load fine but the other half I get an error:

  I'm not sure on the limit, but I would probably load successively, instead of all at once. A way to get there would be a loadCounter variable set to 0 - then call a function that load myArray [loadCounter] - when you are finished, increment loadCounter - if it is still less than myArray.length recall the function of loading.

  We want to broadcast direct meetings with the majority of users access to our inTRAnet. 320 x 240, 30 fps, dual 2.8 GHz, 4 GB server of widows. Anyone with a similar setup to use EGIA service 200 or 500 concurrent users? We have two campuses and I need to know if I need spec a second server if we get above a certain number.   FMS should be able to manage your 500 customers without a problem by using the configuration you mentioned (some of my apps regularly see many times more than that on a single server). I use a slightly beefier processor in my boxes... quad core Kentsfield Xeon / 4 GB ram.

  That said, also, make sure you have enough flow to your NETWORK card to carry the traffic. To 500 concurrent clients, a current of low-bandwidth of 300 Kbps puts you on point 150Mbps, so you'll need to run the numbers before commit you to a single network is used for in the case where you can't have enough juice for one box.
