  We use vSphere Enterprise Edition 5.1.

  We also create separate vSwitch for management / vMotion and VM.

  Each vSwitch receives 2 network cards connected to the different switch for redundancy.

  We would like to know is necessary to provide the collection of NETWORK adapters for these vSwitches?  Currently, only enable us NIC Teaming for VM vSwitch only.

  VSwitch vMotion, we have 2 assigned NIC (nic2 and nic6) with 10 VLANS.  NIC2 and nic6 are connected to 2 different physical switches.

  Question - if there is only 1 VLAN, it seems that NIC Teaming is also not very useful unless we use 2 VLAN (Multi-NIC vMotion).  Is this right?

  If you use Multi-NIC vMotion, there is no need to have two different VLANS, all you need is depending on configuration

  on your vMotion switch, please create two vmkernel port for vMotion with the same VLAN ID, but the grouping of NETWORK cards as below

  I have a situation where the duration of the trial on my clients esx hosts is to expire in the next few days and they are unable to install the host on each host license keys because they are always attached to a Vmvware Server vSphere which is in trial mode. The license for the ESX hosts doesn't include VMotion and when I try to connect these keys it says that I have to start by disabling the server vsphere vmotion because the hosts are not allowed to use it.

  I have never had to do before - one would disable how vmotion in a perspective of license while keeping vsphere server in test mode? He will buy the server vsphere license in a few weeks once they release some cash - I don't want to have problems with the in the meantime esx hosts.

  In this case, you will need to turn off the feature that are not allowed.

  For VMotion just remove the flag "enable this port for VMotion" on the vmkernel interface.

• How to control vmotion license to the ESX Server

  I have 5 servers ESX 3.5 U3 in my vCenter.  Two are using host license and three are in a cluster and using the server license assigned by my license server, that runs on vCenter.  However, my ESX servers two stand alone using the host license receive a license of vmotion by my license server and my ESX servers in my cluster but cannot get a license of vmotion because their attributed to the wrong ESX Server.

  How can I get the vmotion license released by the ESX servers who don't need and make it available on my ESX Server who need?  My three ESX servers in cluster shared storage for vmotion and don't have my two stand alone ESX servers.

  I tried simple things, like the disconnection of servers and ESX servers in reconnection vCenter, re-reading of license files, restart the license server, etc..  license and vCenter server is 2.5 U4.

  go to the configuration tab and click Networking, you have a Port VMkernel configuration?  If so, edit click the vSwitch properties, change your VMkernel port settings and uncheck the box that says VMotion: enabled.

  2. Set the input source instrument or microphone for each track you want to record.
  3. Click on the button Activate in the track header of each track you want to record.
  4. Move the playhead to the point in the rule where you want to begin recording.
  5. Logic Pro includes a metronome, which plays a steady beat to help you play in time while recording. You can disable this active or disabled using the metronome button in the control bar.
  6. Click the Count button in the control bar so that the metronome play a preset count-in before the start of the recording. Note: For initial configuration, choose registration > plug-in software component count, and select a measure.
  7. Click on the record button in the bar control (or press R) to start recording.
  8. Start to sing or play your instrument. A new audio region appears on each of the active record tracks.
  9. Click on the Stop button in the bar control (or press the space bar) to stop recording.

  I did, but it does not work.  I created two tracks.  I go to a track and click the button Save, then go the other way and click on save, but when I click on the button Save on the Panel at the top, it records only to the last track, I selected the folder it does not save to the other channel.  It seems that as soon as I go to another track and arm to save, it disables the recording on the previous track.  Apparently, help left something in the process.  If anyone can solve this?
