Oracle AWR and ADDM report for a multiple instance Oracle database 11 g 2 (RAC)

Hello

How to create an Oracle AWR and ADDM report for a multiple instance (RAC) Oracle database 11 g 2?

Concerning

Hello

Oracle DB 11 g 2 AWR Global report before 11 GR 2, the awrrpt.sql generation

under $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin only generates the report awr for the local instance.

You will need to collect for each RAC instance awr report.

11 GR 2, there are two new scripts awrgrpt.sql AND awrgdrpt.sql for CARS

awrgrpt. SQL - AWR Global report (RAC) (global report)

awrgdrpt. SQL - overall Diff AWR (RAC) report.

Some other important scripts under $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin

spawrrac. SQL - Server Performance RAC report

awrsqrpt. SQL - statement of the standard ANSI SQL92 report

awrddrpt. SQL - period diff on the current instance

awrrpti. SQL - workload repository Instance (RAC) report

  • AWR and ADDM

    How can I know for sure that AWR and ADDM is enabled in our environment?

    I'm going to EM, Administration tab, link Automatic workload repository and I the number of snapshots . I was able to click on one of the IDS and 2 tabs are available to me - Details and report. When I click on the report, I see any kind of summary. In addition, I was able to click on the View ADDM executed on the upper right.

    Are these signs that AWR and ADDM is turned on? If so, how can I check OS_USER them walking, and when it was turned on. Snapshots dated back to last week. Is this a good idea? And how do I turn it works back?

    But I thought AWR and ADDM requires a special permit; extra cost package, isn't?

    Yes, and these not requiring license.

  • Send and receive reports for MFP M177fw

    I hope someone can help us?

    Our office has just bought the HP MFP M177fw fax machine. Everything works well and we may receive a confirmation

    When a fax has been sent. The only thing that we really need now is a send/receive report which lists all incoming and outgoing faxes. Is there somewhere on the machine that I missed this or is this not a story on this machine.

    Thank you

    Hi pctdmfacilities,

    Welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience!

    I understand that you would like to know if the printer can report a list of incoming and outgoing faxes.

    I'll be happy to help you.

    To change the confirmations of fax on the selection of the printer installation icon, configuration of the fax machine (key), utility of fax configuration, you will have 3 choices after you set up the fax features.
    Yes every fax.
    Yes send fax only.
    Yes on receive fax only.

    I think that this will provide a solution to your problem. Thank you.

  • Need help for analysis "plan and background events waiting" on the report statspack for oracle database 11.2.0.4 on AIX

    HI: I analyze the STATSPACK report: this is the "volume test" on our UAT server for most of entry or "bind variables".  Our shared pool is well used in oracle.  Recovery of Oracle logs is not configured properly on this server, as in "Top 5 events of waiting", there are 2 for Oder.

    I need to know what other information may be digging from of 'waiting in the foreground events' & ' background waiting events ", and which can help us better understand, in combination of ' Top 5 wait event, that how did the server test /?  It could be overwhelming. wait events, so appreciate useful diagnostic or analyses.  Database is oracle 11.2.0.4 updated from 11.2.0.3 on IBM AIX 64-bit, level 6.x system power

    Hello

    I think that your CPU is overloaded by your stress tests. You have one VCPU with 2 wires (2 LCPU), right? And the load average is greater than one. You have time DB which is not counted in (CPU time + wait events) and which comes no doubt from time spent in the runqueue.

    > Oracle recovery logs is not properly configured on this server, as in "Top 5 events of waiting", there are 2 for oder

    It is an error in statspack for show "log file parallel write here." This moment is historical and is included in 'log file sync '. And I don't think you have to redo misconfiguration. Waiting for 1ms to commit is ok. In OLTP you should have more than one validation in a user interaction so that the user don't worry not about 1 m in batch mode, unless you commit to each row, 1 DC to commit should not increase the total execution time.

    The fact that you have a lot of line lock (enq: TX - line lock conflict) but very little time (on average 97 ms) is probably a sign that testers are running simultaneously a charge affecting the same data. Their set of test data is perhaps too simple and short. An example: when stress tests of an order entry system if you run 1000 concurrent sessions, ordering the same product to the same customer, you can get this kind of symptoms, but the test we unrealistic.

    It's a high activity of 2000 calls per second, 52 transactions per second, user. But you also have low average active sessions, so the report probably covers a period of non-uniform activity, which makes the averages without meaning.

    So note to tell about the events of waiting here. But we don't have any info about 39% of DB time devoted to the CPU which is where something can be improved.

    Kind regards

    Franck.

  • strengthen the memory of oracle database

    Hi guys,.

    How do you know if we need to strengthen the memory of oracle database?

    I know, instance efficieny hit % is not an exact value to look at as low % does not mean that the server is running out of memory. This may mean that some of the sql made many complete analysis leading to low % of success.

    It is advisory to watch SGA Advisory target / PGA Advisory target?

    Read how physical improvement is considered a lot where we can consider adding memory to the sga?

    kindly share your knowledge about what you guys are looking for normally to beef up.

    Thank you

    It is advisory to watch SGA Advisory target / PGA Advisory target?

    Years: Yes.

    In addition, you can check the ADDM report for your high-end database load time. In ADDM, you can get advice to increase the SGA.

    But, if your end user is satisfied with the performance of the database then it is useless to increase SGA/PGA.

  • How a RAC DB 'spreads' the only instance to multiple instances?

    GI/RDBMS Version: 11.2.0.3

    OS: Oracle Linux 6.3

    File system: ASM

    When a RAC database is created using dbca, manually, or restore RMAN, the DB is created in the first Node1 with cluster_Database = FALSE.

    Then, you run the following (for 3-node RAC) commands to Node1

    srvctl add the d o $ORACLE_HOME lmnprod +LMNPROD_DATA01/lmnprod/spfilelmnprod.ora Pei database

    srvctl add instance d lmnprod-i lmnprod1 - n hwcarser290

    srvctl add instance d lmnprod-i lmnprod2 - n hwcarser291

    srvctl add instance d lmnprod-i lmnprod3 - n hwcarser292

    Once the DB is created, mounted and open in Node1 and the above commands are executed, you define cluster_Database = TRUE and Instance2 startup and Instance 3 in Node2 and Node3.

    I just want to know how Node2 and Node3 had knowledge of the DB and joined the cluster DB? What happens internally?

    In General, registration in OCR is not required for the database to a cluster database.

    Migration of database unique to the cluster instance consists of creation of redo and undo tablespace for the new instance newspapers and allowing this forum (thread). If the database is managed by the policy, this is done automatically for the new node.

    I'll implement models on OEM 12.1.0.3 monitoring for guests, agents, instances of database etc by copying and modifying Oracle certified models, using "create as ' then apply to my goals.  There are models certified for guests and agents, but I don't see one for database Instances.  Is there a models certified for database Instances (such as the metric of tablespace used %, share pool % cached, alert etc.)?

    Another way to create a template with parameters is out-of-box metric collection for database instances:

    -Access the company > surveillance > surveillance models.

    -Click on create.

    -Select copy control settings using: target Type

    -Select:

    -Target the Type category: databases

    Here's what I've done so far:

    import flash.events.Event;

    declare and initialize variables

    var growthRate:Number = 2;

    var minSize:Number = 1;

    var maxSize:Number = 25;

    var scaleMode:String = 'grow ';

    Loop - add enter event listener of rectangle1_mc movie clip and call growShrink function below chassis

    rectangle1_mc.addEventListener (Event.ENTER_FRAME, growShrink);

    rectangle2_mc.addEventListener (Event.ENTER_FRAME, growShrink);

    function growShrink(e:Event):void

    {

    If (ScaleMode (ScaleMode) == 'growing up')

    {

    e.Target.Width += growthRate;

    e.Target.Height += growthRate;

    If (e.target.width > = maxSize)

    {

    scaleMode = "shrink."

    }

    }

    ElseIf (ScaleMode (ScaleMode) == "shrink")

    {

    e.Target.Width = growthRate;

    e.Target.Height = growthRate;

    If (e.target.width < = minSize)

    {

    scaleMode = "growing."

    }

    }

    }

    What is happening is that the two bodies are starting to animate then it shrinks down to nothing and the other ceases to grow. Can you please tell me what I'm doing wrong?

    Thank you

    LTA

    No, they can all share the same listener function.  but, if you want to grow and shrink independently with each other, each of them need their own ScaleMode (ScaleMode) as shown below.

    e.Target is the object that receives the mouse event.  who's going to be something on the stage of your movieclip.

    e.currentTarget is the object that has the added listener.  If there is a single shape on the stage of this object, you won't notice any difference between e.target and e.currentTarget.  But if there is more than one child, you will see a difference and e.target is almost certainly not what you want.

    import flash.events.Event;

    declare and initialize variables

    var growthRate:Number = 2;

    var minSize:Number = 1;

    var maxSize:Number = 25;

    Loop - add enter event listener of rectangle1_mc movie clip and call growShrink function below chassis

    rectangle1_mc.addEventListener (Event.ENTER_FRAME, growShrink);

    box1. ScaleMode = "Grow";

    rectangle2_mc.addEventListener (Event.ENTER_FRAME, growShrink);

    Rectangle2.ScaleMode = "Grow";

    function growShrink(e:Event):void

    {

    If (MovieClip (e.currentTarget) .scaleMode is "grow")

    {

    e.currentTarget.width += growthRate;

    e.currentTarget.height += growthRate;

    If (e.currentTarget.width > = maxSize)

    {

    MovieClip (e.currentTarget) .scaleMode = "shrinking."

    }

    }

    ElseIf (MovieClip (e.currentTarget) .scaleMode == "shrink")

    {

    e.currentTarget.width = growthRate;

    e.currentTarget.height = growthRate;

    If (e.currentTarget.width<=>

    {

    MovieClip (e.currentTarget) .scaleMode = 'grow ';

    }

    }

    }
