How the auto fade or fade to black for most or all the clips?

I'm working on the credits, 50 +, and next page gets old fast. I just wish all select and apply a dip or fade, suggestions?

Select all clips, then go to the sequence > apply default Transitions to selection. This assumes that you have set your default transition and duration of the transition.

Do not remember if it is default (I think), but the keyboard shortcut is Ctrl + Alt + Shift + D.

  • How the clip markers can be promoted in chronological markers?  I cut a clip and rearranged the order of the pieces in the timeline panel, so now I want a set of benchmarks that reflect their position in the timeline panel.

Clip markers have as their frame of reference of the timeline, they came.  If you create a new brand of element in a new timeline, the marker in time is measured from his original script, not the new timeline where he is.  Currently in CC 2015 organization there is no way to translate the clip marker references 'Local' in the 'World calendar"in which they now live.  I captured on video a 8mm film that is chronologically jumble of short scenes.  I placed the chronology of chapter for each scene markers, export the list of markers and finally understood the rearrangement of pieces of scenes he needed to put everything in chronological order.  Thank God for the ability to export the list of markers, just as I needed!  So the whole sequence has 85 chronological markers, dividing the sequence into 5 pieces and rearranging puts them all in chronological order.  Obviously, I don't want to have to restore the scene boundries 85 times, I did as a necessary step to solve the puzzle.  I think you might meet one day some of these problems:

    1. the most obvious thing is located in the calendar for a piece, lift it and 'paste insert' where it belongs on the timeline.  Problem: Lift or excerpt from don't lift or extract chronological markers with it, so when "Insert you a block", the piece inserted in the timeline has lost its bearings, they were left.

    2. How about you make a sous-suite of the segment to move?  Yes, it carries all the tracks, but not the chronological markers whence he came.

    3. ok, I'll export the calendar together with chronological markers and reimport - ah, Yes, success, the chronology of the markers are now item, marks on the imported clip (the entire chronology).  That's great, because the clip markers are sticky with the clip, I can it chop, rearrange to put markers in chronological order without returning any info title marker.  Feeling beat with the reorganization completed five segments of the original timeline, everything is in order, nothing was reinstated, the timeline with its clip of chapter markers is ready to export to still make the DVD!  Yes, you guessed it, element chapter marks are not exported in yet.  The chronology of imports still with a marker, Chapter 1, at the beginning.

    4. There must be a way, stacked the timeline with the time markers on it on the icon for "New"... ', it is the same as #3 above, but simpler.  Historical markers are now the clip markers that don't export in yet.

From my experiences, it is therefore impossible to solve my problem without completely restoring scene boundries and type chapter titles.  There are two repositories coordinated, clip) 1 local and 2) global chronology; and there is no way to go from one to the other 'mass'.   There is the glove, I'm sure someone has a way to do this without returning the title of chapter 85 markers.

I have not found an automatic way to do this, but here is an efficient manual method that requires no titles of chapters Overtype.

Either drop your timeline that has mounted the icon "Create New" brands, or export the timeline and import it back.  You now have a new timeline and markers are now on the video clip.  Now, chop and reorganize this video clip, it is in the best new order, and the clip markers stick with the sections of the clamp.  Now this procedure migrates the markers of the clips to the timeline (promotion):

Start at the beginning of the timeline, select the video clip. (The video clip must be selected for M to open the marker editing window)

    1. type change M to find the first element brand, type M to open the editing window of clip marker, select the marker title and copy (control-C), hit Cancel

2 hit the icon of reference in the program monitor pane, which puts a green marker on the timeline at the same time as the brand of element,

    3. double-click on the Green marker, paste the title of marker by control V, select the radio button of chapter markers, click OK.

Repeat steps 1-3 to promote all the markers of clip of historical markers with the same marker titles.  Since we cut the timeline to reorganize, there are several video clips.  As you progress, make sure that the clip that you are working on is selected, otherwise M will not open the editing window, instead, it will place a chronological marker.  In short, follow this procedure exactly, it works.  It's a stupid job, but it does the job with without having to retype marker titles.  The chronology chapter titles now think time on the new timeline and they will export in yet.  Hope someone finds it useful at some point in the future.

Perhaps team first see the usefulness of this and add a command 'Promote the clip for mounting marks markers' and "retrograde chronological markers for the clip markers" (conservation type, title and comments).  It would be a powerful addition.

  • Window 7: Screen fades to black

My computer is a laptop ASUS with Intel (r) Core i7-2630QM CPU @ 2.00GHz 2.00 GHz

    12.0 GB of RAM

    64-bit operating system

And of course, running Windows 7.

Well, then, I have a problem where my screen turns black.

The computer does not turn off and none of the programs stop working, because I can still hear the audio of them continuing to play, but I can't ctrl + alt + del, tab, or prevent it from happening, I have to do a manual valve to the bottom of the computer. Once or twice it is simply cut to black, but most of the time it fades just for her.

Then, sometimes, it will start to fade to black, then reduced, but then melted in the black again and stay that way. (Makes Me think THAT it is a screen saver, power booking glitch, but I checked that already, but if you have any other suggestions for this, far to offer).

It is melted unrelated my battery or power cards, since I already have the game forever when you don't use, etc.

I thought it had something to do with the graphics card with playing the games, as it is when it first, maybe burn, but it happens when I'm just on the desktop or on the internet too. It seems to be completely random.

As a potential note which may have caused the it, which I doubt, but he started to happened after I did so it is possible, having had this laptop for almost two years I finally undid the bottom of things to clean dust (there a lot, kind of a surprise, it didn't ignite at any given time.)

I used a computer dust spray, did not move anything about this, didn't remove anything, I just dusted. Made sure everything was in order and he has closed.

Other then that, I have NO IDEA what could be causing this.

    Help would be VERY appreciated.

  • How I gradually fade one side of a photo jpeg in white?

How I gradually fade one side of a photo jpeg in white?

    • Create a new layer and move it to the bottom, and then fill this layer with white
    • Select the layer that has your picture on it, and then click the icon at the bottom that looks like a circle within a square. This will create a mask.
    • Click on the new thumbnail that was created on your image layer to select
    • Look at the bottom of your toolbar on the left and see if you have a black and a white color swatch. If they are a shade of gray, press d on the keyboard (if they are of one color other than black or white - e.g. blue and yellow: the thumbnail of the mask was unsuccessful)
    • Click on the gradient in the toolbar on the left (shortcut key g - if the paintcan is enabled in the tool bar, then hold down the SHIFT key when you click the g key)
    • In the upper tool bar on the left side is a gradient, click on the arrow down just to the right of the gradient
    • Select the black and white gradient. third vignette)
    • Now you can drag a gradient across your image - don't forget not black hides the image and watch white image, so white and black are reversed from what you want, you can click on the check box turn in the top toolbar.
    • When your done, click on the thumbnail of the image on your image layer to deselect the mask thumbnail.

I know it looks like a lot of steps, but once you've done a few times, it's really a quick process. If you have any questions, post a screenshot of photoshop with the Panel layers open.

  • Fade to black - start at 50%

I always start my fade ins at 50% and ends with 100%.  Which means it gradually transitions black to the clip throughout the entire selection of transition.  By default, the first defines the appearance at 0% and ends at 100%, hereby making it black for the first half of the video then transitions into the clip.

The problem is that even if I start the transition at 50%, the clip still in total black until the middle of the transition, hereby ignoring my controls.  In fact, if I put it to start at 50% and ends at 50%...it plays still the default transition.

Is it a problem that I have to live with?  Basically, I'll have to double my sizes of transition in compensation, which is stupid.  Any advice?

    Ann,

What you witness is not the problem; It is indeed the case in how Dip to black should work. The start and end values are not the degrees/percentage of opacity, but are rather the percentages of "completeness" of the transition. Dip to black going to 0% opacity to 100% opacity to 0% opacity (compared to black, not outgoing or incoming video), 50% upon completion of the transition MUST be 100% black. Here is a graphical representation (I had no time to paint or build it to scale):

White represents an opacity of 0% of the black of the transition, where black represents an opacity of 100%. Think of the transition as a solid black which has the duration of the transition. By default, the transition starts with 0% opacity of this solid black, ramps to 100% opacity in the middle and then ramp down to 0%. That is why, in general, if you start the transition at 50% (as does the OP) you are effectively create a fade to black. Is it nature, Dip to black (or white) is a transition to both sides and therefore requires this re-posting of the start or end value for the effect.

Personally, I never use Dip to black in that goal, even if it worked correctly with the MPE material, as it is simply too tedious. However, regardless of the aspect practice technique, he reveals a problem with the MEPS hardware.

To the OP: as noted by Craig (shooternz), the following creates a blend of several layers without altering the slides of different layers (which are a common problem, given that many people just throw dissolves on each layer fade in/out):

  • CSS image opacity fades to black transition

In December, I created an image of transition with css. During the rollover image is transparency/opacity would go to zero, while the image behind it would show through. It worked, so now (in the last 2 weeks) it turns black, appears to zero opacity, showing the image in and then made another fade from black to the image. In my research to find an answer, I came across this same problem happening on other sites as well. Opera, Chrome and IE (no just transition Exchange images) works correctly.

Start with an alpha value of 0 for the black area.  You can use the Tween class or any engine interpolation of third party to change gradually from 0 to 1.

  • How can I fade in and out audio only below a certain frequency?

I have a MP3 from a MIDI file in which all instruments are unfortunately in a single track. I want to fade the part of tom because I thought it would be easy to consider his obvious separation on the part of marimba in the Spectral of Pitch display. How can I fade in these lower sounds only without affecting the sound of the marimba higher?

You could choose from 200 Hz to 0Hz with the marquee tool in the exposed spectral frequency display, then apply a Fade effect.  You can also use the frequency Splitter tool to separate the file at 200 Hz, slide both in multitrack to separate tracks and use controls melted or an envelope to adjust the levels of each spectrum and bland.

I'm totally new for the first...

In Final Cut 7 I can take a whole sequence and create a 'nest' out of it, where it becomes an editable object in the timeline panel. I can only apply a fade to the whole sequence, even if there are several clips with transparency immediately above. I can also apply a video effect 'broadcast safe' to make sure that my video is all legal. How to do something similar in the first?

  • Menu background looping stops and black for a second before you begin the movement again

Help. I don't know that I did it before without a hitch. Yet CS4 I have a video file in a loop as background to the main menu. When it finishes its first loop, it stops, goes black comes back on the first image, suspends momentarily and then starts again. I created a perfect video loop. I thought that this could well be the preview but it did the same thing when I burn on a DVD.

Any ideas as to why it isn't seamless loop? Any suggestion would be appreciated.

There's always a break when a motion menu loop, even on DVD of Hollywood.  Generally however, a fixed framework of the last frame of the clip is displayed while the laser seeks at the beginning of the clip.

Without doubt, I misunderstood the problem initially.  I thought the OP was black during the break.  If the OP is to do a flash of black before the fixed image, maybe there is an extra frame included in the clip at the end of the sequence of Pr.  It is useful to check.

I recommend some sort of fade out/fade upward for the video of the menu query because the break when a loop is run is impossible to avoid.
