• How to transfer a program into a motor of MDrive with LabView?

  I was trying to figure out how best to use LabView to download a routine ("program") in an engine of MDrive (17 or 23).  Apparently, you can download a program through some hyper terminal software.  But I think to change the internal engine program several times during my Labview software running.  So, I need a way to continue to re - write this code and keep the Uploader in the LabView engine.  I know that I can send just a command line to run a motor action.  But I'm not sure how to start and run a download of a series of commands that the program consists of.  I'd appreciate any help.

  Hi, Ben. I thought about it.  Yes, a program is just a series of commands separated by a return (and the engine run them one at a time).  He did not seem at first as if I send the series of commands it accepts, by, I played a bit with the syntax and seems excellent work. Example program: PG 1 MV 500000 M. - 9000 E PG If I send these commands one at a time through VISA write, the engine will now a routine saved that sets the speed of the motor to 500000 measurements per second and makes it move 9000 negative levels. So, looks like it works, Thanks for your help.

  I have a wireless data collection device that my business is that I am using for the test one of our other wireless products. The device sends data series to a PC via a USB port. I wrote an automated LabVIEW program to test all the functions of my new product. However, after firing in the data, I realized that the serial data coming very fast and requires me to change latency of Windows by default for the port COM 16ms 2ms Miss not nothing. It's pretty easy for me to do locally on my machine, but much more difficult for me to spec for an off-site CM.

  Is it possible to have my LabVIEW program change the latency time of the COM Windows port of 16 ms to 2 ms automatically?

  Are you talking about the FTDI driver? I know that they allow these changes through registry settings. Thus the approach would probably be to have a small registry script that updates the parameter of function. Most likely, this will have to be run with elevated privileges, as these parameters resident generally in the HKLM or HKCR rather than the HKCU one hive.

  Hi all

  I have an application that uses the report generation tool to print tickets for a printer file.  Usually, it works very well - I 8 existing facilities where there is no problem

  I install the software on a new site that uses a printer Epson TM-U590 slip currently and I can't for the life of get me printing to work

  Using a Standard report, the Print Report.vi returns error-41002, indicating it does not find the printer.  I opened the VI using the remote debugging and it does not find the name of the printer properly with the available query Printers.vi.  It gets an error-2147352567 code starting from the printed node, which is then replaced by the de-41002 error that is reported.

  For historical reasons, I always use LabVIEW 8.6.1 for this project.  I plan to spend in 2011 or 2012, but I had some reliability problems with the other parts of the application after trying to upgrade to a new version of LabVIEW, so I would avoid it at this point.

  The application runs on a standard desktop with Windows 7.  The slip printer works fine if I print from Notepad, and my request is happy to print to any other printer, just don't slip printer.

  The slip printer using the LPT port.  Previously, printers of the folder that I used were USB but I expect the printer driver to hide the details of the application...

  Any ideas would be very appreciated

  I now have the same problem with a folder of Star printer (a TUP592), this time with another program developed in LabVIEW 2011.

  As mentioned in the article, the problem is in fact to do with margin settings rather than the name of the printer, despite what says the error message

  After some tests, I received the Star printer to work by setting a large (> 14cm) right margin.  No idea why this is necessary because it seems quite happily print to the right edge of the paper, but there you go.

  So I don't have defintely solved the original problem yet, as I've not had back on the site, but I hope that it will be useful to someone else.

  As this measure Studio LabWindows/CVI Instrument Driver Developer Guide , VISA i/o interface is the mechanism through which the pilot communicates with the hardware of the instrument. The IVI Instrument Driver Wizard allows you to only select among GPIB, VXI and series more specify the interface for your instrument.

  I think that confuse you routing process.

  Router; route packages using their layer 3 address.

  This means not router cannot understand the upper layer protocols. There just transmission by addressess of layer 3.

  for example: we can define Access-list for tcp and udp layer 4 packets. router can decide whether to permit or refuse even if these lists filter by glance in the section layer 4 of the package.

  In an SSH or Telnet session, role of the router is terminal.

  Intermediate device belongs in the the router routing process.

  In the models pane of ODI Studio you can expand your store data and used by to see where it is used:

  

  (I use ODI 12 c so it refers to the maps but it works the same way for the interfaces in ODI11g).

  You can also use a query on the repository to retrieve all the associations table/interface.

  For example:
