  When you run a command, Windows will search in a series of directories for this program to run. The list of directories is stored in what is called an environment variable.   This is the Format-Table cmdlet, which shows only a part of the message.

  If you want to see the full message, you could do

  Get-VIEvent -Type Error -MaxSamples 20 | %{Write-Host $_.CreatedTime $_.FullFormattedMessage}
  

  The alternative is to adapt the formatting instructions in the VMware.VimAutomation.Format.ps1xml file.

  But that could impact other cmdlets and is a bit more complicated.

  The syntax of the command 'net user' (according to this article) is:
      net user [Username [password |]] *] [options]] [/domain/domain]

  All options begin with a forward slash character (/)

  By omitting the character "/" before "active:", you have probably changed the password of user 'Administrator' in "active:" or "active: / Yes" depending on whether you entered a space before the 'yes '.  Try to connect as an administrator when you enter that as your administrator password.

  I have a system where this problem started a couple of weeks.   When I run a command to a command (any order), it displays the results as expected.  But if I run the command with "cmd /c command", for example "cmd /c date", the screen is erased before the result is displayed.  It is also a problem if I am using perl or python or any other tool when I run a system command and wait to capture the output.  There is always a pagefeed at the beginning of the output character.  Because this behavior started recently tried to restore the system to a point where I knew that this was not the case.   But that did not help.   Any ideas?

Since I need two softwares of different recording/Dictation on my workstation and I could only one of them simultaneously open (which is very uncomfortable, when you need to change frequently), because those two were always challenging who got to use the microphone, I installed a second microphone (that only the application for the two contest) and then created a virtual machine to run the software second with one of the two microphones connected only to the prompt. (Directly/comfortably) to start the second software I created a. LNK shortcut file (and attached to the startmenu) who run the command
