How to achieve case-sensitive in the adf

Hello

I use JDeveloper 11.1.1.6.

I have two < af:inputtext > in my page. Email Id and User Name.Both I put Unique entity object.

My problem is the first time I gave the username as 'DAVID' & second time I give myself as 'david', both are save in the database.

But I don't want to re-record the same username. Same thing happens in the Email field also.

How can I solve this problem?...

Thank you...

You can perform the seizure uppercase or lowercase in http://mjabr.wordpress.com/2012/05/18/simple-way-to-convert-afinputtext-to-uppercaselowercasecapitalize/

    If you want Acrobat to replicate your results, you must either use a program layout (as Design) or select the Adobe PDF printer in the print of your application menu before making your layout. Most processors redistribute the document based on the printer which is attached (i.e., it uses the settings of the printer). If you change the printer so that in WORD for example, the layout in WORD can change radically. This is what happens when you use the Adobe PDF printer. This isn't a question of Acrobat, but a word processor.

    MS out of printer settings in WORD with the first version of OFFICE 2007, but it seems to be back on by default. I guess they found, there was reason to leave it on (the box is buried in the menu options in WORD). This aspect of reflow is one thing that creates major problems for developers of WORD forms of WORDS. Depending on the machine, the shape may ebb and part go to the next page if not careful (I've had these types of forms before, particularly where people are trying to learn a lot on the page).

    Neither one of us know if we have answered your question because you give enough information to be able to tell. The key for almost any application is to change the printer to the Adobe PDF printer before you do business with any document. On my laptop, the Adobe PDF printer is the default and modify other printers if I happen to be connected to them.

  • Entity and attribute transformation of names (case-sensitive) to the relational model

    Hello

    For the names of entities and attributes, I would use camel casing, e. g. AccessRightGroup (or the right access group) and its translation to the relational model in the Table name access_right_groups. I found, I can do in the entity properties > General > abbreviation preferred by writing the name of the table you want in this area. But I guess that there is a more elegant way by setting that breaks are transformed into small capital and underlined and entity (set) becomes plural as table. Is there such a possibility?

    How that would make the camel case attributes?

    Best regards, Robert

    Hi Robert,.

    case-sensitive, you must set 'Title case' as a separator for logic model in the design properties dialog box "settings > naming standards '-c' is for this form of the names AccessRightGroup; for group of access rights that you need not change anything - the default separator is set to 'space '.

    For the plural in the relational model, you need a glossary with defined plurals - however it only works for the entity name unique term. I logged an ER to change this.

    Tiny in a relational model - well you must set to relational model - in the Properties dialog box - "(Naming options > Table, cas de caractères...-mis à baisser et le nom sera mis dans cette affaire àle cours de la transformation) - otherwise you always can use the script provided with Data Modeler to convert the names of all the lower/upper cases."

  • Find/replace: how to force case sensitive?

    Hello

    I'm doing a find / change and cannot work out how to force the wildcard to be lowercase. I am trying to replace E e, but it's for me instead.

    Should I use the glyph of find / change, perhaps? I don't want to limit my search to a single font and style.

    I'm doing a series of find / change using the FindChangeByList.jsx script. I don't know if it will make a difference for all solutions.

    I'm using CS3 on Mac.

    Have you clicked on the "case sensitive" button in the dialog box?

  • How to disable light sensitivity of the Media Console buttons

    Do anyone know how to disable or reduce the sensitivity of the light + multimedia Console buttons + to the left of the main keyboard?

    Cheers, Alun

    Firs of all that it would be really interesting to know what laptop you have.

    On many laptops Toshiba, you will find the assistance of Toshiba.
    As far as I know you can find the Toshiba button Support and could disable this.

    In addition to you that too in msconfig (to start you have to type msconfig in RUN)
    But note; It is a very delicate operation, and this may affect the functionality of the operating system if you disable the wrong process. So be careful.

    However, choose the Startup tab and scroll down until you find a support key Toshiba and uncheck the box.

    If you won't find that at the start, then I would recommend using any other procedure.
    Of VAP (value package) controls that buttons.
    So if you do want to use the buttons, you need to delete button support utility. I don't know if you can remove it as a simple but what you can do is to remove the VAP system. After restart install VAP again (to download from Toshiba support page) and choose custom installation. Before the button remove the check mark from the usefulness of support and continue the installation.

    Hello

    I have a jspx ADF page, in which I show a simple ADF bar chart. It is a component of the deep venous thrombosis.

    The requirement is to write and export this graph on PPT file on a button click.

    I searched a lot for this google, but did not find anything comprehensive.

    Help on this will be really appreciated.

    Thank you

    Hello

    It was not possible to directly write the graph of DVT to PPT.

    To meet this requirement, I had to go a little twisted way.

    The solution worked under the path:

    -Create the PST component binding in Backing Bean.

    -Binding decision-making using the ImageView from the graph of DVT. Then export this ImageView to the filesystem to the PNG Format.

    -Then read this image file and pass it to the Apache POI API for writing on PPT.

    -Delete the Image file.

    Kind regards

    For use to hide/show the Visible property and toggle use ReadOnly property.
    Set them to some EL Expression as #{ == ? : }
    Also set the PartialTrigger on this attribute pointing to the parent attribute

    Don't forget to fix biased/AutoSubmit submit = true to the parent component.

    SELECT queries are case insensitive. To perform a search case-sensitive,
    You must add the binary before the search value. If you have
    used Dreamweaver Log server behavior to the user, you must go to
    Mode Code to modify the SQL query, which should look something like this:

    $LoginRS__query = sprintf ("SELECT username, pwd FROM users WHERE
    user name = %s AND pwd = %s',
    GetSQLValueString ($loginUsername, "text"),
    GetSQLValueString (password$, "text"));

    Change to this:

    $LoginRS__query = sprintf ("SELECT username, pwd FROM users WHERE username =
    BINARY %s AND pwd = BINARY %s. "
    GetSQLValueString ($loginUsername, "text"),
    GetSQLValueString (password$, "text"));

    Who will uphold the case looking for the username and password.

  • Cannot create disk image writable, case-sensitive on El Capitan

    Hi all

    It is my first time posting, so bear with me, pls if this seems to be a stupid question.

    I tried to create a HFS disk image + case-sensitive (logged) on my MacBook (early 2015 model. OSX El Capitan 10.11.2).

    The goal is to build Android AOSPS (according to the website of the AOSPS, case-sensitive file system is required).

    But so far, I was not able to successfully create a desired image (sensitive to case AND write).

    With "Disk utility", I was able to create an image in writing (i.e. when mounted, the file system is read/write) but not case sensitive.

    Why is "Disk utility" unable to do so because it provides even an option for "logging case-sensitive HFS +?

    Then I tried to use "hdiutil create" tool command-line (based on the results of online research), which has succeeded in creating case-sensitive, but read-only images (i.e. when mounted, file system is read-only).

    I tried different combinations of "-format ' & '-fs ' options, but nothing seems to work so far.

    With the help of 'hdiutil convert' does not help.

    All opinions are appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

    This is a bug. The solution is to clear the disk image mounted in disk utility, choose HFS case-sensitive like the format.

    No - you will need to reset the existing passwords after the upgrade to take advantage of this feature

    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E11882_01/server.112/e23633/afterup.htm#UPGRD12434

    Passwords for accounts created after the upgrade automatically are case-sensitive.

    Hi Alex,

    This isn't the right way to get the part #{it1} is not valid.

    Here is the code example for the component by id, but is not recommended that you need to know the parent ID of component as well and it would be difficult to maintain in the long term:

            FacesContext context = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
            context.getViewRoot().findComponent("")

    What is your exact usecase?
    No reason to not use binding property?
