How to align a PARAGRAPH left-justified a path?

Is there a way I can wrap or align a full paragraph to a curved path? Is not on creating type on a path (1 line), but rather to have a left-aligned paragraph not follow a standard box, but a path curved instead...

Appreciate any input!

  • How to align brushes to race on the path from the end of a path?

    Hello

I came a way with no fill and a stroke. I copied this path in place and made a "brush-arrow" as you can see in the image below.  This allows me to get a look which tables my tip of arrow through the entire path.  My problem is that when I started the path (not view in image), the brush applies the first brush 'tip of arrow"(that I created) at the beginning of my career.  As you can see, the end of the path seems not so nice because the arrowhead brush ends not uniformly based on the different distances from each path. I wish that my ways end by an arrowhead, while still having that look "table."

In simple terms, is there a way that I can dictate what my way (end point or starting point) end my brush "tip of arrow" starts from?

    Thank you very much

To add to Mike's suggestions, here are a few ideas:

    • Save your appearance as a 'Style' for easy reuse.
    • A 'Brush of Art' to assign an arrow end of your line (see the screen image). This can be a more direct way to make sure that the arrows on the table matches the arrow on the end.
    • By assigning "shades" brush "colorization method", you can assign any color to every aspect of the race.

  • Convert raw DAQmx left-justified values

I have a program that uses the API DAQmx in LabVIEW to download data from a device. I have download the data in a raw form before sending it to loop to perform data processing. (Producer-consumer type). I use the following formula to convert the raw values to actual values

    = Voltage reading (binary reading/2 ^ bit) *(Vmax-Vmin)

It has worked very well so far. All the data that I downloaded from the previous DAQmx devices was aligned to the right, while the new device is left-justified.

These properties are accessible from Analog Input: General Propertiesigitizer/ADC: raw Justification sample property

Samples aligned to the left occupy the upper bits of the integer.
Right-justified sample occupy the lower bits of the integer.

These properties are not definable. Any ideas on how to express a formula similar to that above for raw data left justified? I tried to turn the bits of raw data without success.

    Thanks for your help.

    Kind regards

    McDuff

Here's a stupid question: why are you the raw data?  I just DAQmx give you the value of the real tension, and then you don't have to go through this mess.

But if this isn't an option for some strange reason, then keep left justification and just treat it as a 32-bit ADC.  So you actually--(10-10) / 2 ^ 31 = 20/2 ^ 31.  You have only 31 real bits due to the signed properties of the number (a bit is bascially the sign).

  • Problem with text table: text align to the left in the table

I can't try to get the text to align inside a table. I'm working on a document that has the body text indented to 12 mm. I discovered that the left of the table corresponds to the tabs and it remains fixed on the marks of the tab. I managed to get the first row of the table to align the text of body outside of the table and the table is positioned how want it to be, but I can't get the rest of the text to align with the first line. Here is a screenshot of the problem:

    Screen Shot 2015-11-24 at 5.43.27 PM.png

I did it by changing the removal of paragraph to 12 mm and by changing the withdrawal of first line to 12 mm. I've been fiddling with the tabs and other settings, but I can't not all aligned text. Is there a way to align it all without creating a separate or rectangle text box?

    Best regards, Kirk

Thanks for your help. I just found out that I was using a paragraph style just outside the table who had no hyphen, and it prevented me to rethink the table. Your method worked, but only in the document with examples I showed you. (I did separate because I work on the project of sensitive information) and when I pasted in my working paper, the table is always aligned to the left margin. I then checked the paragraph mark immediately after the table, and there was my problem. I just changed the paragraph style to the same as the outside of the body text. This caused the table to align the body text without affecting the text inside the table.

    Best regards, Kirk

  • PS JS script image alignment to Center, left-align.

Hi, I have a PS script that replaces an image layer in the PSD file with an external PNG file. and saves it newly created as a new PNG image.

At the present time, how it works, it aligns the image in the Center within the limits of the previous image.

What I would like is that it aligns left within the limits of the previous image, instead of Center aligning.

Here is the code that I use I think the Center aligns the limits-

    flag_width = Number(pasted_bounds[2]-pasted_bounds[0]);

    flag_height = Number(pasted_bounds[3]-pasted_bounds[1]);

    psdDoc.activeLayer.translate (original_bounds [0] - pasted_bounds [0] + ((original_width-flag_wid th)/2), original_bounds [1] pasted_bounds [1] + ((original_height-flag_height)/2));

  • How to align managers Ref in head

I'm new to FrameMaker and inherited a license for FrameMaker 8 and some content in this format.

I usually find FM to have a very usable interface (especially for the power it provides) but I'm stuck on a problem, and I hope it's just me lack of something simple.

I have a paragraph called style "Note".  It is located to have frameworks above and below, with colored dotted lines.  These work perfectly.

However, I would like this style should be harmonized in the head to one side, rather than the main column.  If I change that setting, it moves to the correct place, the Ref framework aligns correctly, covering only the head of the side under the text... but the superior Réf framework is aligned to the left of the page and running its full width (regardless if the page is odd or even and the head is on the right or left respectively).

I can't find any setting that will change the set up of the superior Réf framework and I am getting very frustrated.  Can anyone offer all understand why this is happening and how to fix it?

    -Seth Hanisek

    Seth,

If you want the graphic top (in box above) to be automatically cut by the width of sidehead, it won't work as you put in place, with stops up and down in the same tag.

When you use sideheads, the frame above behaves in a weird way. Since it is physically before the content of the paragraph of the tag regardless the alignments of content sidehead (first base line, top edge, last line of base), there will always be placed across the width of the frame of reference that is drawn on the reference page (this is the behavior in all versions of FM I know).

The frame of reference used in the frame position below, however, gets always cut to the width of the column or sidehead. Therefore, you must really use this location for your top graphic element.

How to use this in a below position with content that will succeed him in so if you get something like that?

Must be actually used three whole paragraph tags to achieve the correct effect. In the example graph above, the magenta squares show for two lines line spacing so that you can see that this vertical alignment/spacing is preserved between paragraphs when the sidehead is entered.

First of all, make sure that your frames of reference (I'll call them up and down) on the reference page are exactly the same height as the line spacing: used to your body paragraphs (14pt in the example).

Then, you must create three paratags: sidehead_anchor, sidehead_top and sidehead_bottom (or whatever you want to call them).

The sidehead_anchor paratag (spotted by Red fly in the example above) must be set to have the space below the NEGATIVE twice body paragraph (and the terms of reference) width, that is - 28pt in this case. Line spacing should be set to 0 PT and the following Pgf tag must be set to the paratag of sidehead_top.

Now, for the paratag of sidehead_top , you must set this to have TFP above: identical to the previous sidhead_anchor below, spacing spacing that is - 28pt in this case. Then set to normal soacing spacing used in the body paragraphs (14pt in this case), and then set the platform next to the sidehead_bottom tag tag. You must also define the reference below bmp: (no higher) to be the one you want to show above your text of sidehead, for example Top.

Then, you must specify for the paratag of sidehead_bottom 0pt both above and below the FMP spacing and have normal spacing of body (in this case 14pt). Set the next tag FMP to be the body paratag (or other) that you use for the standard text that you enter. Also set the terms of reference background in TFP below: setting.

    Now you're ready.

To use these tags, first insert the paratag of sidehead_anchor , and then press ENTER two times (this will insert the following tags automatically) and start typing your sidehead cutting-edge content (which will move into the paratag of sidehead_bottom ) and press ENTER when the fact to return to the paratags of the body.

I hope this work for you.

    Hello

I tried to figure out how to align photos in a slide show so that they don't 'jump around' on the page, when they have different formats. Unfortunately I just read this discussion and learned that it is not possible.

    http://forums.Adobe.com/message/6071838
But Iguiva then writes: «now, I only can do manually, one by one...» »

If I can't control exactly where the picture is displayed, I don't see that I can use the Muse.
So here's my question: How can I do it manually?

    Thank you
    Tine

    Hi Tine,.

You can go up to the level of the hero Image in the slide show, and then double-click the Image of heroes.

Which would give access to the actual Image (you will see the left corner of the strip control bed 'Image' rather than 'Hero Image').

Once at this level, you can handle and place your image in the container Image of hero as you wish and it will keep the position you set.

    Hope that helps.

    See you soon,.
