  All in one, type printers (print, copy, scan) usually have a very specific set of instructions during the installation.  If not followed exactly the probability is that the scanner will not work.

Our customer wants that a user can add a new row to the table in a form and see all lines created by this user in a report, the report should provide link change as well. the problem is: whenever I inserted a new line or change a line or delete a line, and submitted and return to this page, all hidden elements lost their values, this report is empty, and some display only items also lost their values. Could someone give me any suggestions?

  So, the problem is essentially with page elements lose their session state values when re-loading of the page. How do you define values for the elements of the hidden page? You have default values defined for those? They are based on the database column? What is the "Source" parameter for these items on the page? It is set to "Always, replace any value in session state"? You have any process of 'Empty the Cache', which is reset these values to null element?

  What is your version of the Apex?

  I would recommend that you have installed for example in apex.oracle.com. This would help to better understand the issue.

  I'm going to install grid RAC 11 GR 2 and I intend to do the following steps:
  (1) install the Oracle Grid Infrastructure 11.2.0.2 patch group
  (2) make all configurations with YES
  (3) create ASM disks
  (4) install Oracle Database 11.2.0.2 software only
  (5) apply recommended patches 11.2.0.2.2 Oracle (12311357) and 12431716. (Ref. MOS doc [756671.1 ID])
  (6) create the RAC (advanced option) with DBCA database
  
  With these steps:
  Grid and ASM disks would be configured without the recommended patches, but the database will be created with applied patches.
  
  I would not do a "Software only" install IM and then apply the patches because later I would have to manually do all the configuration steps.
  
  If I use the Option of YES software updates to apply patches, YES makes the adjustment, and then I would set up the GRID with YES?

  I have a question as follows:

  We need to migrate a legacy to a new production server system. I have to add two columns from each table to record that updates the row most recently through triggers, and I must ask constraint not null for columns. However, since the old system has already given for each table and old data have no value for 2 new columns. If we apply the constraint, all existing lines throws an exception. I wonder if there is possibility to apply the ONLY constraint to the new lines coming in the future.

  The best suggestion I can give you is that you ensure that the management of the documents on behalf of the person who came up with this requirement of brain hair so they can sufficiently punished for the huge waste of human and database resources they have caused for which they almost NOTHING got in return in the future.

  I've seen many systems over the past 25 years + who have added columns such as: CREATED_DATE, CREATED_BY, MODIFIED_DATE MODIFIED_BY.

  I have yet to see a system where this information is really useful for any real purpose. Many systems have the users/application schema, and users can change the data. In addition, a DBA can modify the data, and many of them can connect as long as the schema owner to do.

  Many tables also updated by other applications or processes of loading of bulk and these processes use generic connections that cannot be attached to any particular system.

  The net result is that these columns will be filled by user names that are completely useless for verification purposes.

  If a user is allowed to edit a table, they are allowed to modify a table. If you want to track that you need to implement a security strategy appropriate using the functionality of Oracle's AUDIT.

  Encumber ALL or even many of your tables with columns is a very BAD idea. Worse is the addition of doesn't trigger this server no other goal but captures the useless information, but because they are the impacts on performance just PL/SQL cause worse the total impact.

  Must certainly be to worry about security and auditability of your important data. But by adding columns and triggers, such as those proposed is NOT the right solution to achieve this security.

  Before your organization any decision so stupid you should propose that the same steps before adding this feature you should take before the addition of ANY structural MAJOR or the application:

  1. document the real need

  2 document and justify the business reasons for this need

  3. perform tests that shows the impact of this requirement on the production system

  4. determine the cost of the resources (people, storage, etc.) to implement this requirement

  5 demonstrate how this information will actually be used EFFECTIVELY for professional purposes

  With regard to points #1 and #2 above that the requirement should be noted with regard to the PROBLEM to be solved, not a some preconceived notion of the solution that should be used.

  Your org should also speak to other associations or other departments in your org even who have used your proposed solution and discover how useful it was for them. If you do this research, you may find it has not responded to their needs at all.

  And in your own org, there are probably some applications with tables that already have such columns. Has anyone here EVER used these columns and found them invaluable to identify and solve any real problems?

  If you can't use them and why first add their data to some important process?

  IMHO, this is a total waste of time and resources to add columns in your tables. Any such audit or security, at least, approach will be limited to those tables with key data that needs to be protected, and then only when you cannot implement the appropriate audit "best practices".

  A migration is hard enough without adding unnecessary additional expenses such as those. You have MUCH more important you can do with the resources that you have:

  1. capture all THE DDL for the existing system in a version control system

  2. train your developers on the use of the version control system

  3. determine the correct configuration of the new server and the system. It's almost a CERTAINTY that parameters will change and performance will suffer even if you don't think you have changed anything at all.

  4. validate that the data was migrated correctly. Which may involve a broad polling and comparison to make sure that the data has not been altered during migration. The validation process to a SINGLE TABLE is more difficult if the table structures are not the same. And they will not if you add two columns in each table; every single request, you do have to specify the columns by name in order to EXCLUDE from your two new columns.

  5. validate the performance of the app on the new system. He there will HAVE problems where things do not work as they did. You need to find these problems and fix them

  6 capture appropriate statistics after that data has been migrated and all indexes have been rebuilt.

  7 enter the new implementation plans to use a base for when things go wrong in the future.

  If it's worth doing is worth doing right.

  I'm not on the same OS, but don't you have an option to preview in Firefox/Beta. You will need to disable the plugins PDF first.

  If you are able to see on the web pdf files ok I see no reason why it won't work on local files as long as you have the permissions to access the involved file path.

  You mean the Model Viewer, not the Inspector.

  You can always save a template somewhere on your desk and opens by double clicking it or offer in the Pages of preferences as the default template.

  I certainly agree with suggestions on how to use InDesign to do this, it will be much easier.  I guess the hardest part is going to be the names of files for each QR code.  You have them catalogued by chance?

  You have practical Excel?  Create a new book and for the header to put something in the sense of @QRCode (the @ symbol is used to indicate a graphical location).  Then list all QR codes in this column, save it as a CSV file.  In InDesign, create a Rectange the size you need (on the toolbar of the rectangle with the X through it.  Open Data Merge (merger of utility data window).  Select the Data Source in the main window, it will show the available merge.  QRCode should appear with a small icon of mountain indicating a placement of the image.  Click on the rectangle you draw, and then click the data field that you created.  It should appear with <> > brands before and after it.  Then just click the preview control for viewing.

  You cannot apply/assign a template to a page via sftp.  You need to action via the back-end or using DW.  Since you do not prefer this in an extension of dorsal DW would be the alternative.

  I thought I had a simple fix/upgrade for my dv5 - 2077cl.

  decided to replace the defective hard drive with an SSD. couldn't afford a 240 GB size but it's big enough for my needs.

  I installed the new drive easily and cycled through my 4 recovery disc reinstall the minimum overlap. After you delete the last record, the screen goes gray and there is a cursor in the top left corner for more than 10 hours.

  I finally it turned off and tried again two times the same results. I removed the DDI and run disk management on it from my other laptop and an external cable to remove the partiion and create a single partition. Tried to install windows xp on a disk that I own this isn't an update or restore disc thinking I might switch to windows 7 32 bit because I own and upgrade the disks also. even if it is a 64-bit system, but I do not have any disk 64-bit except the recovery disks that didn't seem to work.

  When I ran the xp it seemed to work but then I got the blue screen that said there is no drivers for the SDS (the error is as follows stop0x0000007B (0xF78D2524, 0XC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000))

  So I guess I need to have a windows 7 install disk rather than the recovery discs?

  the SSD is a Silicon Power S70 240 GB.

  Recovery discs usually require a hard drive of equal or greater capacity. XP doesn't have SATA drivers Sockets.

  If you can read the Microsoft Windows 7 of 25-character license key, you can download a Windows 7 ISO file to burn to a DVD or USB flash drive. The version must match that's installed on your PC as shown on the sticker COST Microsoft fixed on the bottom of the laptop. Like Windows Home Premium.
