  • How do I disable Adobe Flash - too many sites have Flash ads that slow down the browser unless an analysis.

Some pages contain 3, 4, 5 or more adobe flash ads running at the same time, which slows down the browser a lot. Then, if you happen to have several tabs open, the browser is dragging virtually interrupted and many times is not responding at all.

I would like to be able to choose whether or not a page can run flash content - not it be something that works all the time for each page, with the only option being to kill the plugincontainer process in taskmanager - who kills even the Adobe Flash elements you can watch; like a youtube video.

Why is there not a way to disable Adobe Flash in the browser? I have updated Firefox and Adobe Flash, but nowhere is there at - it an option to turn on or off according to your needs.

A control can be added to the Internet Options that you can set to have a page request before it is allowed to run the Flash content? Having that kind of control would GREATLY increase the pleasure of sailing on several pages.

Any information on how to do it, would be appreciated.

Hello, this is already possible in firefox: go to firefox/tools > addons > plugins and shockwave flash to Activategame. then the plugin will be disabled by default but can be enabled on a site-by-site basis.

  • Why the hell you block flash?

For a few days, you have been blocked flash for "security reasons." Can not simply give a freaking message and let that be us? Hell, you really want people to leave your for Google Chrome?

Hello, we support volunteers are not responsible for the blocking of the plugins, but we can help you deal with it if you give us the chance.

Adobe has released an update today to solve critical problems, he admitted were in the 18.0.0.203 version. You can get 18.0.0.209 on this page:

    https://www.Adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html

In the first table, find the row corresponding to "browser plugin", and you can use either the EXE or the MSI installer.

No one can promise that this kind of block will never happen. If that happens, if you are not accustomed to using the "Request to activate" feature a plugin, here's what to expect:

When you visit a site that wants to use the Flash, you should see a notification in the address bar icon and one of the following: a link in a black rectangle in the page or an information bar slides between the toolbar and in the page area.

If you see a good reason to use Flash, and the site looks trustworthy, you can go ahead and click on the Lego-like icon in the address bar to allow Flash. You can trust the site for the time being or permanently.

But some pages use Flash only for tracking or play ads, so if you do not see an immediate need for Flash, feel free to ignore the notification! It will just sit there in case you later want.

  • Yahoo said firefox blocks flash

I X10.7.3 of the OS and the latest Flash, but he says always firefox blocks flash when I'm in my yahoo email. How should I do?

Here is what happened: last week, Adobe updated the way they report the Flash version (no Firefox version but the Flash version) as part of a Flash update. It seems that Yahoo Mail didn't update their code to properly control and so it seems (for them) that Flash does not work (they can see that you have installed but does not have the code to check version).

As you probably figured out, you're not actually blocked Flash and this must be affixed to the side of Yahoo.

  • How to publish Flash Player 10.1 or lower cc?

How to publish Flash CC Player 10.1 or lower?

Just realized default CC isn't such player as option to publish to... Problem is that a lot of major publishers like google adwords ads does not sovereign wealth funds in higher to 10.1 player... So basically, I have a huge problem... Why Adobe should be so ignorant to the needs of their customers? ""If you do not upgrade to flash, you will not be able to open higher versions of .fla files", if you do not upgrade, you will not be able to release the lower players '... Convey my proffesional life miserable, you know that? :/ I bet that most of the flash use is for ads, then why not check out what publishers require and may consider not detached from your software?

That just ruined my schedule and deadlines are collapsing on me. Thank you very much.

    Hello

If you open the swf file in the text editor:

The first 8 bytes of any SWF file are not compressed, the rest of the file can be compressed (or not) by zlib compression.

    • 1st byte: 'F' (uncompressed) OR 'C' (compressed).
    • 2nd Byte: 'W' still.
    • 3rd byte: the of ' always.
    • 4th byte: version number (09 means this file is for the Flash Player 9 and so on...)
    • 5th to 8th: length of the entire file in bytes

More details in the actionscript 3 - How can I find out what version of flash player, a swf file was published? - stack overflow

    Thank you!

  • Flash ads are everywhere!

These flash ads are really terrible, I'm right? They are on all the other sites that I visit these days, and they are the most annoying. Some of them are downright embarrassing. I don't want to see these girls webcam on myspace, or these Classifieds style game, and I especially don't like the new iPod nano commercial which has a sound that cannot be turned off (without turning off my speakers, of course). I couldn't even say coming noise at first.

    We must act.

I propose a feature similar to the feature "block images of...» "Firefox be implemented. In short, I wish I could click on a flash ad and choose "block all content ad.yieldmanager.whatever flash' for example.

If I posted this in the wrong place, sorry. I'm new to forums and just wanted to get it out there as soon as possible. I saw a developers section or anything like that.

Thank you and please... help me to fight bad publicity!

    Explotapotomas,

    > I propose a similar feature to the "block images from of...» »
    > Firefox feature be implemented. In short, I would like to be
    > able to right-click on a flash ad and select "block all flash."
    ' > happy ad.yieldmanager.whatever "for example.

And, of course, one of the many reasons people love Firefox. :)
