• Cannot open reports in the form of url using web.show_document

  Hi experts,

  I'm trying to access the oracle forms to oracle reports. port 9001 turn my forms and my report has been set up in port 9002.

  While trying to open the report using web.show_document (), the web page opens with the port 9001 and returns a 404 error. But when I change the port number 9002 in the url it opens the report sucessfully.

  Please find the link forms and reports below:

  Decision to store static content on the Application Server or Server Web is dependent mainly on below facts.

  (1) total size of static content
  (2) frequency of use of static content
  (3) Machine accommodated for application server performance
  (4) the network speed between the Web and application servers
  (5) level of security of the information processing application and pages
  (6) is static content created on demand?
  (7) review delays in deployment and added additional efforts.

• Form web.show_document 10g on Windows Server 2003

  I use web.show_document in Forms 10 g. When I run my application from Windows Server 2003, the document of web.show_document goes into the taskbar and flashes at me instead of opening, clicking on the lettering flashing it opens fine. It occurs when running Windows XP. Basically I don't think forms abandons focus properly.

When I did Figure 4-6, location of repository Log - diagnosis/repository, I thought that the log files will be in FRHome1\diagnostics\respository; but there is no file in there. In fact nothing in this record.

  I think that 2 August was my last post in this forum. By chance, I noticed this.

  To test I have renamed it to this:

  /U01/app/Oracle/product/midtier/J2EE/OC4J_BI_Forms/log/OC4J_BI_Forms_default_island_1/default-Web-access.logold

  IAS then stopped and restarted and it created: (from 0 bytes)

  /U01/app/Oracle/product/midtier/J2EE/OC4J_BI_Forms/log/OC4J_BI_Forms_default_island_1/default-Web-access.log

  So I think that you can delete them, but you should let iAS re-create. (In this way the permissions will be correct)

• R & A deploy to the application server fails for 11.1.2.3 analysis (Web)

  I installed 11.1.2.3 on a Windows 2008 R2 server. When configuring, deploying application server breaks down Reporting and analysis. The most funny thing is during Setup it says finished with a "tick". When I touched the Panel of the tasks once again it tells me the application server deployment failed. There are no entries in the stderr configTool. It is the Application Web Java Analysis Web that has not deployed. Has anyone seen this in the latest version?
